  1. The topic heading is a bit deceiving because what you're really saying is 'Others don't understand why I'm so chill' Maybe they don't see it as being "Chill". The circumstances surrounding this are a factor. -not that I need to know.
  2. @SunCat Welcome to the forum. @Emerald may be able to help you.
  3. @Petals Fun fact- A dolphin can choose which hemisphere of the brain to shut down while the other stays awake.
  4. @Dlavjr Was just watching a video about mother aya and it said experiences as you describe above are part of a purging process.
  5. @Alex bliss Your flooding the forum with mental masturbation and inviting others to join you.
  6. @Lento No need to get the forum involved in religious debates. It only serves as a distraction.
  7. "Who is ultimately responsible for your happiness?" This would make a good companion video to one you just watched.
  8. @integral Wonder if it would help with anything like restless leg syndrome (RLS) where the nerves won't quiet down.
  9. @John Doe That's kinda why I made the above statement. A true teacher/guru is the executioner of all self illusion. Ultimately it is all you. Very few have a Buddha or Christ level consciousness but it's always a step in the right direction to surrender one's beliefs.
  10. "For those who have ears let them hear". All the teachings one would ever need are already here for the taking. There is only one teacher. That is you.
  11. @Jonac Nice share. As it needs not to be taken only in the literal/physical sense. The "worthy" disciple is the disciple that is ready to be torn to shreds.
  12. Don't allow that simple process to deceive you. One day it may all turn on a dime. Keep at it and at some point you will stumble upon it by chance. And in that moment it will become quite evident that there was always something there that you were previously blind to. Imagine for a moment that there is a color that your eyes have never perceived. How would you know that color even existed? But you have heard others talk about this illusive color. So you look for it hoping to see it. But you really don't know what your looking for. Is it something like red? Or is it more like blue or yellow? So you keep searching. Then one day by chance you catch a glimpse of this illusive color. And in that moment you realize why you never saw it before. Because it is a color far different then anything you ever expected to perceive. Yet it was always there.
  13. Even the simple task of pealing potato's can be a most insightful meditation when one is totally present.
  14. @electroBeam Maybe it all turns out that all there ever was was Love.
  15. @Eugenio I'm all over that map. Everyman, Jester and mostly Explorer.
  16. @ActualizedDavid No need to distract yourself with "others". Find what is true in your direct experience. Hint: Silence is the greatest teacher.
  17. The best thing any of us can do is to revisit our own reply history.
  18. I see. I don't know if they are purposely trying to hide anything. They just have a belief system and stick strictly to it.
  19. @Mondsee @Emerald is who you want to be talking to. Search "The Diamond net" on Y-T
  20. @abrakamowse Thanks I corrected the spelling.
  21. Stare at this for 30 seconds or so then look at your hand.
  22. @Anna1 I think we've already passed 12 folds here. A couple more and who knows it could become an origami swan.
  23. @electroBeam Trust your inner compass. It will take you everywhere you wanna go.
