  1. Everybody wears a mask, plays a role. Nothing difficult there to comprehend, newbie or not.
  2. Pick your mask from the ancient gallery and walk on down the hall.
  3. @John Hea John. Just my 2 cents worth but I see it all like a wagon wheel. At the hub is where we are infinite/stillness. As you move away from the hub to where the outer wheel hits the road is where the most movement (action) is taking place as life. Remain centered at the hub of what you are and just observe the movement taking place at the outer part of the wheel.
  4. I agree. But awakening from egoic self has got to start somewhere. That somewhere is a union called Samadhi. The absolute will than be revealed within the heart of Samadhi. Again, it's a process of unfolding. If you take it to the limits from the start, you often loose people because the ego can't relate directly to the absolute. This is where Samadhi comes into play.
  5. Samadhi is the direct realization of the true self or Anata which is the gateway to the absolute. There is no one to seek, understand or chase anything. These fundamental misconceptions only arise in the absence of Samadhi (union). @Deep What you say here is correct, to a lesser degree only because consciousness is being experienced through the individual self/mind awareness. Only through awakened awareness, (Anata) can the absolute be realized as it has no direct experience of itself. This is where the magic of it all lies. As long as we're in this body/mind/time/space existence, someone would have to be totally stone enlightened, I'm talking non- existent to be absolute consciousness 24/7. That being said, absolute consciousness can still be visited through Samadhi. And one day we all awaken from the dream of self and return again to the absolute we once where. This is all a beautiful process of unfolding that is meant to be. You are exactly where you should be as part of that process. This is it happening now! To be one with that infinity unfolding process is to be one with God.
  6. Nothingness lies within the heart of Samadhi. Samadhi is the link between what is this and what is not.
  7. I think I remember Leo mentioning unfolding patterns here on the forum.. "There are patterns that exist outside of space-time that are participating in the ongoing process of creation."
  8. @OBEler A@20:00 is where I had to pause the vid. because something was shifting in perception.
  9. @OBEler Actually it happened when I was listening to one of Leo's vids. I tried to get a real feel of me as being an illusion. I did that exercise a couple of times and nothing really happened. Than one time I really went for broke and I felt a shift happening and had to pause the vid. I thought of all my earliest memories of myself up until this moment and put them and me in an imaginary pile in front of me. I than said to myself, "All this is and illusion". Than it cracked wide open. Awareness became liberated from the usual location of myself and filled the room. It honestly freaked me out a bit but it felt strangely inviting at the same time. So I surrendered to it and at that point I entered what felt like another dimension or level of awareness. It was nothing short of the source of all things. Some may call it the absolute or something similar. I'll find the exact vid. of Leo's. It's a hit or miss door so don't get discouraged if it doesn't happen the first time. You really have to let go of everything too. Like you don't care if you die in the process.
  10. @OBEler No, I wouldn't call Samadhi astral projection either but my awareness was similarly Just as an observer. How can you tell the difference between imagination (letting the mind trip) and true astral projection? Just wondering. I've never explored this in depth.
  11. @Dodoster On second thought, I just heard a gun shot nearby. I'm feeling a little pathetic myself right now fearing for my life.
  12. @Dodoster No not "out" as clubbing or to the park. I mean out of the pathetic little "self". But it is nice to get that small self out for a breath of fresh air every once in a while. Which I am planning on doing right now. It's freezing outside but I'm gearing up to take the ATV and the dog for a long run in the woods. Maybe I'll just find a quiet place to sit for a while and melt into nature. I guess I should wear something bright because it is hunting season now where I'm located.
  13. @Dodoster Some of the greatest insights can be had when we except how pathetic we really are. That leaves us nowhere to go but out.
  14. @Soulbass Personally I have never done astral projection. Lucid dreaming is easy but I'm not sure how to tell the difference between the two. Maybe youtube has some vids.? I have had the experience of consciousness being liberated from my body location on 2 occasions which lead to a Samadhi experience (union) . That is probably in the same general realm as astral projection. It felt as if I suddenly entered into another dimension or level of awareness. Really different. Hard to explain because it is something you would have to experience directly for yourself. I was stone sober and wide awake just to mention. That experience did show me one important thing though. That we all keep our level of awareness on a leash (so to speak) or contained and don't allow it the freedom that it truly has to move about and be Omni-present. After having that experience, I wouldn't dismiss any possibility like astral projection for instance. I can say one thing that may help you though. There was a distinct and sudden shift in awareness. Awareness seemed to become hyper focused like a laser beam first and than became liberated. It was not just the usual casual awareness that we experience in every day life. Maybe the phrase "trance state" could be used to point in a general direction of that type of experience. That's the best I can describe it since it was so different from ordinary (bounded) awareness. The thing is, I would love to be able to "will" it to happen. But it doesn't. It's more like finding a secrete door within awareness that you never realized was there before. Finding it is a hit or miss thing. *I just remembered too, I think @Emerald may have some vids. on A.P. The Diamond Net. on youtube. Have you checked that out yet? I know there is a lot of info on L.D. there. Best of Luck!
  15. @Leo Gura No peeing? That sounds like a great idea after watching this. *Skip to 3:30 to get to the crux of it.
  16. @Leo Gura If I could ask, what was the most valuable insight you had when using 5-meo that still remains even after the trip is over?
  17. You can slice it any way you want, but it's still one loaf of bread.
  18. The Dao is a natural flow with no attachment. A sailboat would be a good example of man working with the Dao. The wind in the sails moves the ship along. But the wind cares not if it is blowing North or South, East or West. You can correct your course somewhat by using your rudder. But only within the general direction that the wind (Dao) is moving. Have you listened to the Dao De Jing yet on YouTube? Check it out if you haven't. Warning: #25 could cause cosmic consciousness. The I Ching is interesting to consult on personal matters.
  19. @Soulbass When you go the whole distance, any question asked is an illusion. There is a level of consciousness where all questions fall away. Having no question is the only truth.
  20. It's not just the music here that inspires. *Sorry, I see the User has now removed this vid. It was Mooji "DARSHAM" if anybody is interested. Seen on YouTube only now.
  21. @Deep Ego is the mind's operating system to navigate physical reality. The illusion arises when we think that is all we are.
  22. @Tancrede Pouyat Beliving that conscionseness is confined to the body location is an illusion created by the ego operating within it's physical dimention. Breaking that illusion is a quite a liberating experiance to behold. Liberating conscionscness from it's Earthly confines is in itself ego death. This is where the surrendering plays a crucial role in experiancing conscionseness as every probillity on every level. * I found this vid. that points in the general dirrection of what I'm conveying here. Trancendence of the space/time self.
  23. @Neo Truth exists outside Knowledge. A truth that is spoken of is never the whole truth because knowledge is movement and truth is stillness.
