  1. @Callum ASame here! I had my first taste of infinity through the same conditions. I remember looking at a sunset and I had realized that I'm not just seeing one sunset, but all sunsets that have ever been and will ever be into infinity. One sunset had become infinite sunsets. Than once I had some "traction" (as Leo calls it) on that I followed that feeling of infinity into it's depths until is swallowed up everything in existence. How deep could that go? I think infinitely deep.
  2. I wanted to add these personal statements made by two well known scientists on parallel universes, I found them intriguing. "I don't have to think of myself as isolated and just here, but I've got all these brothers out there. Theses copy's of me as one spread throughout the universe. I'm everywhere in a strange sense" Professor Anthony Aguirre "It makes me take myself much less seriously because in the grand scheme of things, my little problems aren't such a big issue. And also I think it takes the pressure off having to get things right all the time when I know that there are all the other Max's out there succeeding where I failed- and failing where I succeeded" Physicist Max Tegmark
  3. @Leo Gura Science explains it as the multiverse. Infinite parallel universes. The reality we know being just one copy of an infinite number of identical realities, similar realities and any variation you can and can't imagine repeating into infinity.
  4. @Shin That sure opens up a nice space. Here's one of my favorites @ 28:00 If infinity had a soundtrack, I think this would be it. Edit: Infinity has infinite soundtracks. This being one!
  5. @Gavalanche As far as "interpreting" the visual field, like most people your probably an expert at interpreting reality by now because "you" have been doing exactly that since birth. Which of course is a wrong way of seeing the world and must be thrown away. The straight up answer is what you are is the awareness of this field of reality. You are awareness without the interpreter. I believe that is what Leo is referring to when he speaks of "flattening the image". But that's not to say that from the minds point of view that 3d reality can't be experienced as a 2d flat field from time to time. It can! Reality can seem as if it is happening on a movie screen. And at other times reality can be seen as being in super hi depth. Colors get brighter and more vivid and the clarity is enhanced as if it takes on a deeper dimension than what is "normally" experienced by the individual self. It suddenly feels as if God is seeing through your eyes. That is an amazing way to interpret the visual field. If you could call it that. *I asked the about the same question as you ask here months ago. I was perceiving reality in a few different ways at that time (as mentioned above). I got no replies so don't bother searching it for answers. That was when I first experienced the "flat field" visual phenomenon happing so I figured it was just me that had experienced that. Or maybe nobody wanted to talk about it. Who knows? But I'm glad you asked too. And here is yet another way my mind interprets the visual field of reality. Think of being at the bottom of an ocean of reality. Awareness being the water that surrounds everything you see. Just as everything in the ocean is surrounded and exists within water, so too is all of reality within awareness.
  6. My guess is you wouldn't be remotely aware of it. *I would suppose all "this" would fall away into one. VR included.
  7. @electroBeamDo you think it could be something hidden that is trying to surface from your subconscious? I'm not saying it is but it could be a possibility.
  8. @Acharya Most times when I meditate I eventually enter a state of no thought- pure awareness. That will last as long as I meditate and continue for various lengths of time afterward. (eyes closed and breath/mantra meditation) When experiencing no-self, I went about 40 minutes once before the sense of self returned. (not meditating/eyes open). I'm sitting here now turning off the thoughts to observe a still mind, now that we're on the subject. I'm not sure how long I could go without a thought and remain as pure awareness. I never purposely tried. I usually end up coming out of a still mind because I'll allow the thought to surface "This is boring and I have things to do". Lol But if I ignored that thought I would say I could remain without a full blown thought for quite some time. I should try it sometime. Still the mind through meditation and than see how long I can go without a thought and remain as awareness only. *Have you ever noticed that when the mind is totally placid, you can sense when a thought is trying to come to the surface and head it off before it becomes a full blown thought.
  9. @PetarKa I often use the mantra "Om" to meditate: Om (A-U-M) , the three parts have meanings: A - our external perception , the one derived from our physical senses U - our mental awareness, the result of our external perception combined with our thoughts and ideas M - It is the quantum of our existence , the most basic felling of 'being' In meditation one should look to shed the layers described above. Shed physical perception - all our 'sensors' will be active but one should strive to stop processing these inputs. Shed mental awareness - probably the hardest part; ever been able to think of 'nothing' - this is what one needs to achieve. Stray thoughts will distract but one should strive to not chase them. Once you reach 'M' you must strive to acknowledge it and surrender it; beyond this lies the 'collective' - the stream of power that the universe overlays upon. Anything is possible if you achieve contact with the 'collective'
  10. @SaynotoKlaus Maybe a good ol' mantra meditation world work? A point of focus. Whenever your mind starts to drift, gently and forgivingly bring attention back to the breath. A steady slow breath is always important. Slowly in- slowly out exhaling on the OM. Than as you get a repetition and calm mind, gently bring awareness to a point of focus on the stillness. I listen to this with headphones when I have a lot on my mind and it works good for me. After 20 minutes or so of this I usually have a really still mind and do self enquiry or just contemplate.. Try it for a week and after a while you will find that you just flow into that place of still mind after just a few minutes into the meditation.
  11. This is like walking through a "MIND" field. Once your in the middle of it, where do you step next?
  12. @Dodoster It's funny that I wake this morning and read this first thing. Great timing. I was having a dream, and in that dream I was having an in depth conversation with someone. It was my absolute reality. Than I became aware that I was dreaming and for a split second I found myself in a paradox caught between two realities. And just for that second, both where just as valid as the other. Now I'm sitting here in the waking world of life writing this but at the same time I'm asking myself, Am I dreaming this too? Are both just as valid as far as realities go? What makes waking reality any more valid than the dream reality?
  13. Imagine that! The blueprint to the universe can be found in Donald Trumps Hair.
  14. @Epiphany_Inspired I'm looking forward to seeing the movie "Collateral Beauty" soon. I hope it's a good one! Will Smith is the main character who looses his daughter at a young age and than he loses his love for life. He starts writing personal letters to Time, Love and Death to cope with his loss and they answer him with the truth of it all.
  15. @Epiphany_Inspired Have you read the book "love is letting go of Fear"? I remember a quote but it's been a long time since I read it so this may not be exactly word for word. "Love is the only true reality while fear is of mind".
  16. Something remains that is undeniable. Maybe it it's all just pat of the illusion. But like ashes after the flame is gone there still remains traces of what once was.
  17. In 2016 you discovered something about yourself through meditation that the masses may not generally realize because they most often refuse to look. Explore what is you that is happening within reality. Take all the time you need. It's intriguing and at the same time a total paradox of the confines of mind. Welcome to the New Year and a new realization that you are not what you where last year.
  18. We are all given a finite amount of time to say what we need to say. Choose carefully.
  19. @Epiphany_Inspired It is so very easy when we let it all go. Why do we chose to make it otherwise?
  20. @Epiphany_Inspired No, thank you. That bought me into a place of total love and acceptance.
  21. @Epiphany_Inspired I love you. Yes, it is a process. Hang in there with every fiber of what you are.
