@MarkusSweden This has nothing to do with Meditation, Consciousness, Enlightenment or Spirituality. -

@Crystalous The emptiness from which chaos (experience) appears. -
cetus replied to TheEnlightenedWon's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@TheEnlightenedWon I've done that before. It's infinite. Is that illusion too? -
cetus replied to MarkusSweden's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@MarkusSweden Gotta shut this down. We saw all this before. No room for than, no room for it now. -
cetus replied to Lynnel's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Leo Gura You jest but maybe that's a secret passageway to the infinite first discovered by gurus sitting in caves getting bugs up their nose. What could be a more ironic discovery than that? Licking a frog? -

@Leo Gura What is this @16:00 ? -
cetus replied to JustinS's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@JustinS Love it!!!! That is the true absolute. The Para-brahman. Prior to consciousness. So very few are willing to hear this. They will surrender what they consider everything (body and mind) for the sake of the ultimate "enlightenment experience". But will they truly surrender everything by allowing consciousness to be absorbed completely by the absolute as so nothing at all remains, not even the experience? No, they want to stick around and have an experience. Which is going to be infinite. No surprise there. It truly never ends. As Peter Ralston said. "you can go on making distinctions forever" (infinity). That is the very nature of consciousness. Duality. To see this is the final liberation that extinguishes every last vestige of desire for conscious experience on any level. Within the absolute there are no souvenirs of experience to bring back of any kind. If you experienced it, it's not the absolute but a projection or distinction no different than all else that arises within conscious experience. To quote Nisargadatta: "consciousness appears on the absolute as if on a screen". That would suggest everything that appears within consciousness is illusion. Bar none. The truth is there is no truth within conscious experience on any level. And the absolute cannot be tainted by conscious experience. Nisargadatta: "The absolute has no awareness of itself". I remember Leo saying a couple of years ago "All experiences are just an experience". I still stick closely by those words. Not because anyone said them but because they ring absolutely true. -

cetus replied to Ether's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@lmfao But what if you realized it's all consciousness no matter what the circumstance or perspective? -
cetus replied to Ether's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Ether Haha who me awakened? No, I improvised on this scene from the movie Dune. He may have taken a break from "consciousness work" after this. -

The seeker has awakened. -

@solr O.K. Sorry So you made a mistake and you owned up to it. Your being totally honest with the person. That's all you can do on that level. Now you have to find compassion to forgive yourself for your human condition that made the mistake in the first place. Take it as a life lesson and your a better person for it. But yea, we are always hardest on ourselves when mistakes are made. It's often much easier to forgive others than ourselves. Your not alone on that one!
-
@solr Am I reading this right? You can't bring yourself to be totally honest with the person you did something wrong to so instead you want a method to erase your own regrets about doing it? Sorry if I misunderstood something here but if that's the case I think you owe it to them (and yourself) to be totally truthful. Otherwise you will always know the truth (and your best friend) but the person you did wrong to won't know.

cetus replied to Faceless's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Faceless You should like this one. The "Spanda" is the supreme infinite pulsation of the universe. Reality is one big throbbing cosmic orgasm! -
cetus replied to Faceless's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I was waiting for that. What took you so long? -
cetus replied to Faceless's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@SOUL Just playing with form. -
cetus replied to Faceless's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Faceless Yes but it is very rare. All experiences, memory, knowledge, coming and going are part of the Spanda. The perpetual motion of rising and falling. Existence-non existence. Experience-non experience. Awakened states-non awakened states. Knowing- no knowing. This infinite motion-Karma is driven by desire. Even the desire to be awakened drives the Spanda. Very rarely is the Spanda truly transcended. But when it is there is absolutely no one there. Complete annihilation. -

A disciple went to his master and asked "Master I'm curious, how do I practice Not knowing?" After a long time without the master saying a word the disciple finally asked again "Master, are you not going to tell me how I can practice not knowing?" The master replied, "I just did. Only your curiosity of wanting to know stopped you from seeing that" . -

@Shanmugam Yes We carry so much resistance and have done so for so long we often don't even realize it. Even when there is nothing immediately presenting resistance there remains the expectation of what will arise. -

@Shanmugam You always offer great insights. Feel free to add something here if you wish. -

@mohdanas This is what the body of the work is mostly about. Deconstructing the belief system that has been built over time. Lets say you take two beliefs. In your right hand you hold the belief that reality is real. In your left hand you hold the belief that reality is illusion. Now put the two together and both beliefs collapse. -

@Faceless Wait until he's in school. That's where the "head" really gets established.
