  1. @Shin That's the paradox. Enlightenment is a paradox. What's the best way to treat a paradox? let it all collapse.
  2. @snowleopard The paradox is that attaining enlightenment is also part of the dream. That's where I got stuck in my early years of practice. I thought there was someone to become enlightened. What I was really doing was just creating more of the dream. Or maybe better to say, attempting to alter the dream. It was a futile attempt for sure. Like trying to lift yourself off the ground by pulling up on your shoes.
  3. @Natasha Well that explains why I can't fine one. I wanted to change my user name to Shunyata (emptiness)
  4. "Thinking disrupts the Stillness needed for Enlightenment" Q: What Buddha is beyond Buddha? A: No Buddha
  5. "Mind" happens within consciousness as with all else. "Your" mind. "My" mind. One consciousness.
  6. @reku02 Everything you thought and said here happened within consciousness which is prior to mind.
  7. @Joseph Maynor Are you saying it's time for us to "Get on the Good Foot"? Hit It!
  8. @Charlotte Sounds like you put a first crack in the wall of delusion. Good for you, the first one is the hardest one. Just keep chipping away at it. Some amazing things can happen now because you've created an opening where there was none before.
  9. @Shin Maybe whatever bought you down 2 years ago never actually went away and it's time to finish it once and for all. Just something to consider. Do you ever consult the I Ching? In times like these it can tell the blunt truth about our immediate surrounding circumstances.
  10. @Shin Since your already here with your eyes wide open why not just sit back and enjoy this dreamscape of a reality. I'm sure there are plenty more where this one came from.
  11. Just a share guys but I thought was a great representation of what consciousness could look like if it was perceivable. Pure consciousness without the facade of physical reality imposed over it.
  12. @Shin I'm sure you've had a dream and became aware you were dreaming. Your doing that again while fully awake.
  13. @Shin Your mind is absent of content? Sounds sweet to me but the ego/mind that loves to stay occupied may disagree.
  14. @egoless "Consciousness is condensed emptiness". Nisargadatta
  15. @Barbarian Number 8 You may not be far off. The DNA @Nahm may like this one too.
  16. @Mighty Mouse You came up with all that. All I did was offer the word Parabrahman to @Joseph Maynor's list for consideration.
  17. No, I'm saying Brahman is on the side of "secondary Status", as you refer to it. Not Parabrahman. Parabrahman is Brahman beyond all knowing. Parabrahman is the absolute and Brahman is rays of the absolute.
  18. @Mighty Mouse Agreed. So isn't that a fair distinction between Brahman and Para Brahman? Para Brahman would have no conscious awareness( no knowing) where Brahman does.
  19. @Omario I once thought I could achieve it. Now I know that's impossible. Something of me can. But not cetus56. He's gotta stay here.
  20. @Omario Honestly I've been hitting the "no self" pretty hard today. Face to face with nothing is here except infinite illusion. So I see it happening around me but I know it's not really happening. Or as least, I'm not really happening. So one part of me, the illusory ego me, is looking at this saying "This is a total fucking trip". No drugs needed! You could say I'm playing between the illusion of self vs. no-self and sometimes it all suddenly collapses because you let both go and nothing remains.
