  1. I aways think of this song when I hear ppl say they had their first realization of Absolute Truth.
  2. You just know without a doubt. Because you are in the presents of infinite intelligence and have total confidence in it. I was practicing "no-self" and it felt like consciousness became totally focused like a laser. I've never experienced anything like that before. Next thing I knew I was no longer in time and space. Almost as if I entered a portal or something. Sort of a trance like state that the whirling dervishes are said to enter. I'm trying to describe it the best I can using words. But afterwards I remember thinking "that was absolutely amazing". "Why am I just discovering this now?". I didn't ask for information. I knew it knew and that was good enough. With it being infinitely intelligent it has your back at all times. Even though from the perspective of the finite self it may not always seem to be the case in that moment within time and space.
  3. Add "practicing no-self" to that list. I call it simply "source". A cornucopia or "wellspring" from which all things emerge. All questions cease and become redundant as everything is already known. Space and time vanish.
  4. There is no such thing as the experience of reality -Nisargadatta
  5. @integral Ram Dass approached sitting with terminally ill people as a "loving rock" - simply being present without needing to explain or fix things. But "if" your uncle so happens to bring up the topic of spirituality and death, I would suggest just listening to what he has to say. Death is a very personal thing to each of us so each approach's death in their own way. And if he says something profound on the subject, I would simply answer "That is beautiful".
  6. Who Here On This Forum Believes That Higher Consciousness Is the Apex Of The Pyramid? Exactly!! @Entrepreneur This topic start is going exactly as you knew it would. You join a higher consciousness forum and ask a question about the importance of higher consciousness. Then you debate the point when you're given an honest answer by people who are passionate about the subject of higher consciousness. Let me ask, when you were contributing to the entrepreneurship topic area (a topic you are passionate about) did anyone from the higher consciousness topic area come over there and question or debate you and ask: "why do you value the material realm over all else?" I doubt it. Your contribution to the entrepreneurship sub-forum is greatly appreciated. But unless you are willing to open your mind to new possibilities that exist beyond the physical domain, I suggest you stay where you can be most helpful. Thanks! This topic is locked.
  7. @Entrepreneur was recently asking for a definition of consciousness and what is meant by high vs low consciousness. Mind if we use this as an example?
  8. I remember being put in my crib one summer afternoon. The sheer curtains that were hung in the windows swayed as if they were dancing in the warm breeze. I also remember my first feeling of oneness with reality. It was spring or summer. I was about 4 or 5 years old playing in my sandbox with my Tonka trucks. And suddenly I stopped and I remember looking around because there was this unforgettable feeling of total connectedness with everything around me. There was no separation between me and the sky or the grass or the trees. And went much deeper than just the physical connection. It felt like infinite Love.
  9. I suggested he meditate on MU or 'no-thing'. Be in that place where there are no thoughts or ideas. Just Being.
  10. Not that kind of video. But if it helps with the body tension, I won't judge. All joking aside, when was the last time Leo came out with a video on any subject that was under two hours.
  11. @theleelajoker Body tension is something everybody needs to become more aware of. But enough is not spoken about it. Be great if Leo could do a video on the subject.
  12. @James123 I can see your Valentines card to your G.F. Roses are red violets are blue. I don't exist and neither do you.
  13. @James123 We have all different age groups here, so to speak. Which I always keep in mind. So, I tend to cater to everyone.
  14. I agree. But without a sense of self in contrast, there would be no appreciation of "source". So yes, I am referring to the self-returning to source. And mostly the self remembering it's source. Which is what I'm referring to as a divine or immaculate self.
  15. @James123 Remember the immaculate self. It is waiting for you to return home.
  16. @Davino Here's something for @Michal__ to contemplate during retreat: Why is a round pizza cut into triangles and put in a square box?
