Or let me phrase this as to not sound so egregious, Does war, apart from the it's seeming randomness, unpredictability and collaterality in it's destruction and destructive tendencies, also serve as a check on ridding the obstacles to the progress of humans and societies by rooting out and showing the consequences of, by standards of a current social development, no longer sustainable views and ideas about the functioning and foundations of a human society, as in the sense of dispelling all seeming contradictions, illusions and dellusions within societies and showing them the actual state of things as they are and as they were before developing to this moment without being changed or intervened upon? Or, In short as the etymological meaning behind the original Germanic root of the word war in English suggest, meaning "warren" - fog of war, or confusion, is war just bring up on the surface the mental confusion and fog between people that existed in a society upon the surface for all to see and to show the consequences of it not being resolved by them that it leads to the destruction and self-destruction by insisting and wanting to remain living within that fog, or in other words does it contain creative tendencies within it by showing people the depth of the fog and confusion they have been living in and therefore forces them to adapt to new ideas and ways in which that society might in the future function Or to put it more bluntly, in a similar way, but in a radically different context the way Leo said in one of his videos about societal evolution, does death, destruction and suffering caused by war actually have a net positive of ridding the world of no longer unsustainable views and ideas for the present world and current society that we are living in? Is it actually deep down in ourselves that we are looking towards that what might be destruction for some egos might also spell creative potential for others? I say all this with a deep sympathy and sorrow for the people of Ukraine and what they have to potentially go through now and face and I hope, even rather I feel naively, that they can somehow avoid the tragedy that might befall some of them, for I feel I don't want to wish destruction to befall upon others so destruction wouldn't eventually befall upon me for wishing it in a self-deluded and unconscious way. Keep in mind, I don't yet personally myself yet grasp of how destruction and creation are sometimes intertwined though I have some ideas, images and thoughts in late hours when I can't sometimes sleep of how they actually might play out and serve a function in a progress and transformation of a society and humanity at large when I am, often morally solipsistically i.e. without much academic and empirical investigation and literature reference, thinking about topics in world history and politics.

@Bojan V Of course it is and always from me, my friend and brother from another mother, as they say, ??, I have some distant relatives and friends from my grandmother's brother's side in Slovenia as well, but unfortunately I can't guarantee that from my Russophilic fascist collaborationist state with the current Russian imperialist war, the autocratic criminal clique that runs it and the people here they've managed to put a leash on and thus enslave economically, culturally, socially and hence physically and psychically have control over them and effectively brainwash and dellude them into authoritarian neurotic-spiteful, revanchistic and irredentistic hatreds and grudges with their stoking of internal political of "Us and Them" divisions and outward ethno-racial hatreds, falsehoods and stereotypes directed as projection of their own internalized hate, prevented and hindered unrealized frustrations and self-loathing onto other people's and nations in the Balkan region and heavily distorted, biased and false narratives that enforce them and uphold them as the main cultural hegemonic state ideology. Hope you and your family and loved ones are also fine and doing okay. Sorry, for seeing this just now and responding and answering so late, as they say better late then never?, to your kind and warmhearted plea, promise and oath, and once again of course, always from me, my friend and brother, to all your aforementioned questions to me personally ??. I just remember to nostalgically check up again my writing in this old forum post of mine, in the context of this ongoing war in Ukraine and it's possible wider geopolitical repercussions and consequences for the hopefully not so near future. Stay safe brother in these tumultous and turbulent times and I wish you and your whole family and loved ones the most happiness and all the best, may we continiously move on and struggle to live in more happier, secure, peaceful and better times and world ?? Cheers and until I might someday return more regularly again to this forum and catch you again here to communicate and share stuff with you here again and until that happens someday again or that day comes again I sincerely wish you and your loved ones all the best and brightest in life from here ?❤️? -
This docuseries is, imo, brilliant as a layman's introduction to the field, reach and possiblities of speculative evolutionary biology lense of viewing the sheer branching levels of possiblities of evolutionary adaptions due to shifts and changes happening in the planetary climate overall and geology to the biosphere and ecosystem on Earth, of course, taking for granted that these climate predictions will in fact come to the fruition in couple hundred, thousands and million years time following their current speculated and prognosized trends and removing the possiblities of seveerity of total human activity and pollution impact as exacerbating, accelerating or de-accelerating factor on them or it's lack thereof if we remove it in this hypothetical scenario in the doc almost fully from the equation (hypothesized human colonization or settlement on other planet or solar systems as far as I understood). I will post and share here all of the 13 episodes on YouTube in chronological speculated order of future time period and distance from the present second millennium AD date calender centering around the traditional renewed globally standardized and normativized human calculating date starting again from zero after the alleged date of birth of Christ: Split in the bulk of four episodes during 5 million, 100 million and 200 million hypothetical years in Planet Earth's future: Episodes: 0: The Future is Wild Introduction 5 million years into a hypothesized and speculated projected future world scenario: 1. Return of the Ice Age 2. The Mediterreanean Salt Flats or Vanished Sea 3. The Amazonian Prairies 4. Cold Kansas Desert 100 milion years into a speculated and hypothesized projected future world scenario: 5. Waterland 6. Flooded World 7. Tropical Antartica 8. The Great Plateu 200 million years into a speculated and hypothesized projected future world scenario: 9. The Endless Desert 10. The Global Ocean 11. Graveyard Desert 12. The Tentacled Forest: BTW also let me know, whoever got interested in this and has the time to reply and engage in casual discussion regarding this docs topic, if this doc is a good layman's start for someone to bust open a bit through mental exercise in imagination and curiosity in further researching deeper into this subject the ingrained, baked and programmed notions and paradigms of anthropocentrism and anthropoegoism assumptions and expectations from the world from one's mind cultivated, nurtured and reproduced by society and it's cultural and economic systems just for a tiny weeny bit when watching it ??

The Sadghuru official YouTube channel just re-released this video, in the wake of Musk purchasing Twitter and becoming it's new CEO I would assume, with also rumored large part of the shares of that purchase rumored to have come in part from Saudi monarchy money, of Sadghuru talking during a questionaire session back in 2018 about the possible future uses and potentialties of Twitter in the national domestic, international and global political sphere, to sum it up as best I can currently, as a transparent national, international, transnational and global voting political platform on all the relevant contemporary issues that humanity is currently facing, with a momentary direct reach and feedback to the elected officials and politicians via the platform from their constituencies and it's potential for an instant direct participatory nature of it's immediate reach and response option to get people on it to directly get involved in immediating voting on, deciding on and shaping proposed policy decisions or propose other ones in their place instead themselves for dealing with some pressing current issues deemed of great relevance for humanity as whole. To actually sum it up: The potential for Twitter in the near future to become a tool for direct and instant participatory actual open and transparent global democracy as long-term dream and goal from everywhere through the national, international and global human scale to deal with some pressing issues concerning humanity and it's planetary habitat:

I didn't specifically mean in regards to freedom of speech, its degrees, and the amount of its non-restriction present, but the potential influence that one already acquires via social media and has in the real socio-political world where he might enhance it further still by using Twitter as an instant reach digital communication platform to construct the online part of the movement and widen its power, reach, influence and popularity via that as an actual real-world action and praxis mass movement as well. -
Fleetinglife replied to Leo Gura's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
They do to an extent if you are actually influential in the real social world and have some power there. For example, the former PM of Pakistan Imran Khan got his popular movement started over his 'unconstitutional' premature suspension by using Twitter as a digital platform to enhance its reach and perception of popularity among the people in Pakistan and the world. Also, why do you think in part the Russian leadership and high-command decided to target and missile and drone strike Ukrainian critical electric grid infrastructure in the country's capital if not to also contain and curb the Ukrainian government's and its supporter's social media influence, war propaganda, and reach in the social media-using wider world? -

Depends on how much global cancel culture or political correctness is pronounced, disseminated, and normativized in an overall political and workplace culture of a said country or transmitted and received, mostly through more urbanized and more Western multinational firms and companies and the degree of presence of their workspace culture in some areas of another foreign, recipient country were that said political correctness or cancel culture is coming from the West and now being received and presented as a new part of their own transnational or international national work culture areas in some heavy service or high-tech private economy based more economically developed urban areas of it. I get where you are coming from, but in some less developed and developing countries that have a backward, highly corrupt, or authoritarian, special interest group political culture with almost none to zero independent and autonomous official political institutions and transparent, independent, and integral voting and electoral oversight free from the usual constraints on a digital platform of some serious and next level of institutional and political corruption present in the physical electoral system from outright vote blackmailing and buying, manipulations and machinations and outright large-scale national level electoral theft and voting fraud - so that's why from a voting aspect I might see this as a way forward for some countries to free themselves in one fell swoop and reform from most of the systemic decades-long untransparent political corruption disease and affliction. Here, I think, it is precisely the opposite: ''The masks need to drop, and then we will see their true faces and colors, or lack thereof'' -

Just to note in advance before answering, I haven't watched the full episode yet you made but I plan on doing so when I can very soon, just to acknowledge that I am not yet fully aware of the scope of arguments you made in the video that this sub-forum thread is dedicated to discussing towards: Marx has actually addressed this perceived incongruity in his formulation of the theory of alienation of man from his natural essence of being of enjoying the fruits of his labour and generating value for the rest of his human community under a preposition that man is inherently, to sum it up the best I currently understood, remembered, could and was able, (regardless of any his peculiar qualifying or categorization characteristics) a conscious and free species being which he can't realize for the whole of his species under conditions of estranged labour as means of his continued individual life survival by living of his labour for the sake of his own surviving not for the sake of the enjoyment of the creative, generative process of labour for the rest of the human species and nature (it goes much beyond just the natural world defined as 'living'), as Marx defines it, I am paraphrasing, "nature is human beings inorganic body and life extension without which they can't exist or hope to have ever existed in the first place as conscious species- being with a freedom of will", which can't be possible to be achieved for the sake of all humanity as long as all value-generating and creative labour (which is essentially all labour in one form or another, since it changes fundamentally each time the conditions under which nature and life is being continually maintained and reproduced) serves as a mere means for the survival of life not the end of life in itself, because of it's estrangement through the externalization of it's fruits until they become foreign and alien to their original willful generator and creator in the first place with abstract compensations and extractions intended only for the attempt of it's full symbolical replacement of it's inherent genesis value and worth and the realization of it's end of man existing as free-will conscious species being instead under a repressive class-based and class-maintained production and reproduction material reality. When you go from borderline, subtly promoting in your musical artistic content and career in a symbolism rich and filled layered manner: "For the historically and currently oppressed, denigrated, dehumanised, discriminated and exploited of the world all to unite to tear down the old structures of power and their narratives justifying the bias towards obscene accumulated monopoly on one side only of "historicity, civilizational and material wealth and cultural value and prestige" and rebuild something new, more equal, humanistic and inclusive reflecting the diversity and variety of the people's of the world today - almost like a socialist calling for a revolution of the marginalized in the very hearts of interconnected civilizational metropolitan cities funded and built in part on profits generated from slave labour, exploitation and imperialism of the past and sustained as centers of civilization and culture by commercial and financial imperialism of today." to actually overtly and openly politically promoting: "This grotesque old post-modern neo-feudal propertarian landlord rentier and mass grifter and con artist A (perhaps there will also be a B replacement figure soon coming ? hope not for the sake of ordinary and most Americans) is our only last hope left and Messiah in America to save ourselves from the growing tide and movement among the youth of majoritarian and totalitarian tendencies of brainwashed mobs of international conspiratorial, relativistic and nihilistic anarcho-leftist hordes who want to tear down and wipe away clean all remnants of Western values and civilization in our countries culture left, that is "akchually" funded by a Jewish dominated plotting cabal in Hollywood and elsewhere in American politics and politicians that are payed for and controlled by Chinese financial and political-economic hegemonic and monopoly interests and unleashed on us ordinary conservative minded American folk - henceforth we need our own closed loop information systems and insular, hermetic and echo-chambery platforms to discuss and plan how to actually succeed in coup-d'etating our no longer ours or loyal deep state government this time" in about 4 to 10 years time Well no one could have seen that transformation and metamorphosis coming. xd? -

This song and video cover of Kanye's is the one that probably also played a large part in subconsciously conditioning me to get interested in sociology in the first place. Now a bit dated: Lol where is this former critical anarchic destruction and deconstruction of hitherto history, civilizational narratives and culturally conditioned and informed authority with heavy doses of nihilistic-relativistic energy in between gone from his bones and mind-body energy or "Tiger energy" as Tyson would say xdxd ? Was it a "went full-circle kind of thing since it wasn't an authentically deep rebel phase" xdxd -

The invasion of Iraq wasn't justified on the grounds of the aftermath of the Gulf War of 1991, after which promptly the US sanctioned Iraq for 12 years until the full-blown military invasion and regime-change operation of Saddam Hussein in 2003. As we know it was justified on the now-proven subsequently manufactured and false presumption and claim that Saddam's regime in Iraq was directly, and indirectly involved or was also the one orchestrating the suicide bombing of the World Trade Center, Twin Skyscraper Towers in New York, US, while in fact twelve of those sixteen suicide-bombers were from Saudia Arabia and were indoctrinated among other things with the extreme wing of fundamentalist Wahhabist Islamist ideology that has/and still has to an extent it's main sponsorship in the Islamic world from Saudia Arabia, the US and some other western countries main petroclient and oil slushfund in the M.E. up until that point, we shall see if that still remains the case in the fututre now having this current conditions and mood towards it currently in mind, and on the false amplified and trumped up moral panic and alarmist hysteric claim that his regime was in the meantime actively working on a program, under heavy crushing economic sanctions and embargoes as a 'punishment' for it's Gulf War adventurist invasion generating a huge humanitarian and actual famine inducing crisis in Iraq in the 12-year time span in the meantime before the invasion, for manufacturing weapons of mass destruction to target American troops in the Middle East. Not to mention the fact that the US and some other western countries like France in the Iraq-Iran war almost openly publicly and actively backed Saddam Hussein with some modern tech and weapons in just 2-3 years prior to the Gulf War in invading Iran, which was then seen as reactionary clerical Islamist theocratic state regime that needs to be overthrown and strangled as soon as possible while it's weak in its cradle in order to get the Shah back in power and to secure that sweet Persian gulf oil for extraction for western private multinational oil companies for a cheap price of course. What's even more devilish and deceptory in the invasion justification itself is that a NATO country, the US in this case, for the first and one only time still in NATO history called upon Article 5, on the basis that it was attacked on its own soil, to call upon other NATO members to go with it in Afghanistan to jointly conduct bombing, miltarily invade the country and subsequently then conduct counter-terrorist operations within it, because the Taliban helped shelter and provide logistics and some collaboration to Osama bin Laden right before and after the 9/11 bombing while Saudia Arabia where the main bulk of the ideologically motivated terrorists that carried out that terrorist attack where from was magically left off the hook, spared any shared guilt, burden or responsibility for directly or indirectly providing a lot of the ideological basis behind the attacks, while at the same time engaging in regime-change operations of the Taliban government in Afghanistan as well and beginning its attempt of nation-building for the long-term, and it also tried to goad some other NATO members to invade Iraq as well on that same basis and justification and false claims and manufactured, distortedly presented evidence that Saddam Hussein was also involved in the 9/11 bombings, which most of them as far as I am aware of refused, except for Amerophile, cringe part of Poland, undermining it's until then principally held historical legacy as an often defensive, historically victimized, invaded and occupied buffer country with that hypocritical, cringe move, that actually sends some of its active detachments there together with the main invasion force. The fact also that France, which was aware that it was also actively backing militarily and economically Hussein during the Iran-Iraq war, outwardly refused, out of not wanting to jump in its own mouth, to participate in the invasion of Iraq, a country that it actively backed not some fifteen years prior and goading it to try to defeat Iran in the war in order to collapse it's newly founded unfavorable to it regime there, instead of the US or Britain, says volumes in itself about the actual proven, existing ulterior motives that went behind the justification behind that invasion operation and plan as well. So in short, to recap, a country headed by an unfavorable brutal, authoritarian figure for the Western economic interests at that particular moment, not from before I assume when he invaded another country ten to three years prior in which he was actually partially militarily and economically aided by some western countries to do so because that current regime is unfavorable to you namely the Islamic Republic of Iran, screwing up your economic interests at home and abroad in the Middle East by spiking up the oil prices because of his still partial at that moment invasion and occupation of the north of Kuwait, where the main oil field dispute was, until after the announcement of operation Desert Storm the Iraqi military proceeded then to invade it's capital city as well is you think a justification enough to bomb and invade a country, as a whole after imposing crushing economic sanctions on it, 12 years after on the basis on an unrelated incident to itself that involved most of the perpetrators coming from a country that also could be known to be even more barbaric, vicious and brutal, or you could say socially regressive and authoritarian in some social aspects than Iraq at that said time and which at that time most promoted and sponsored the ideology which motivated the main bulk of those perpetrators to carry out those world-famous terroristic attacks and acts but that is also needed for your oil flow and economic interests as a economically key partner and client in the Middle East? The fact, that you also said that you are currently living or from a country that was one of the main junior partners of the US in the invasion and the subsequent war-torn occupation zone partialization of Iraq during the regime change operation, namely Britain, while seemingly brazenly, proudly and in the open, without a degree of self-reflection and guilt, gish-galloping on inventing ad hoc reasons that first come to your mind as you go about the stereotypes of the history of that country for the justification of its bombing and invasion based on directly unrelated historical events and engaging in deliberate or undeliberate distortion and deception about the actual historical events and facts to seemingly fool people who know no better on it's history that led up to the invasion while simultaneously projecting on and claiming biases on others based on nationality is so biased, clueless, morally empty and hypocritical that it's astounding that there is not an actual degree of self-reflection and degree of guilt and consciousness regarding that involved here. You project and claim Leo is blinded by bias that you conveniently invented for him to project yourself (or perhaps your own guilty consciousness) upon by you asserting for him, almost as a nationalist authoritarian would, his main nationality for him to identify with in the Russia-Ukraine war, while you as a claimed and identified with Brit seemingly openly cheeringly and without a tinge of seeming guilt and shame actively go on about inventing cherry picked reasons from some selective pulled through events of Iraq's history as you go in justifying your country's past military involvement in the bombing and invasion of Iraq which left an estimated almost million people dead in total in its wake and aftermath several years after is so hypocritically morally empty and vacuous, astoundingly ignorant and borderline criminal that one should not even have to point it towards and out to someone if he is that un-self-reflective and unconscious regarding his own countries of origin and identification with past not so long ago crimes. -

Thanks for sharing this, this seems like a well-thought out probabilities and chances analysis, my only jibe is with one of the few scenario examples in the grey boxes that isn't still a completely finished deal historically or politically on the ground: Namely, Kosovo is still segregated internally, in a sort of a semi-frozen conflict in place with NATO arbitrating peacekeepers still present, with it's internal sovereignty over all it's encompassing territory and autonomy not fully resolved, and with apartheid encouraged outwardly internationally and within it by the state in Serbia still having some state administrative presence over the remaining national minority and local Serbian population there. So it listed as an example of a successful breakaway province to use it as analogous to the Crimean peninsula and/or Donbass potential example is not at all the same copy/pasted exact thing, even though Putin and the Russian Foreign Affairs establishment now likes to cite and use it as an international legal precedent example set in international affairs and relations to opportunistically justify now their own annexatory and re-unification policy into the RF of deemed historically justifiably traditionally more Russian or Russophonic regions of Ukraine. Excerpt from the sourced post on Less Wrong website that you linked here: "The shorthand labels I've given these outcomes (grey boxes) should't be taken too literally: "Kosovo" & "Vietnam" refer to scenarios where one side wins outright (breakaway succeeds & Goliath is expunged, respectively)." Kosovo still hasn't won outright or has broken away successfully completely, because it still hasn't broken free from Serbian state power or influence in it's whole, still mostly Western and not the majority parts of the world, internationally recognized legal encompassing territory. Kosovo is actually here more akin in some aspects to the North Korean frozen conflict scenario or the Northern Ireland improvized and highly more corrupt and unstable union state one in it's northern remaining majority Serb national minority parts then the successful fully and completely breakaway province turned fully sovereign encompassing independent state scenario which it is cited as an example to be of. A better example of that with no background hanging or residing potentialties of conflicts or threat of war against it by its former mother or guardian state or country of a former province would be Singapore's today's majority internationally undisputed secession from Malaysia in the 1960s, on it's own behest and request. But perhaps Crimea being a sort of highly autnomous and self-governing predominantly Russian populated province majority internationally recognized within the international borders of Ukraine is perhaps the most further de-escalation and complete conflict-avoidant compromisable solution one can realistically hope at, demand and go-at to settling it's status back to a status quo ante before 2014 - with a lot of added provincial autonomy privelleges to it in the meantime - in order to avoid a further escalatory unpredictable spiral over it in an attempt of its full-scale re-capturing and re-claimation under uncertain conditions, status and auspices that might lead to an actual executed tactical nuclear response and reaction it to a perceived hostile threat and reprisals to the remaining predominantly Russian-speaking population and military infrastructure there. I think even if the Kosovo scenario would happen, which seems highly unlikely, I agree here with the author, at this point, I think the best it could hope to achieve would be a frozen highly tensed up conflict in place, like the real and actual Kosovo one even with NATO arbitration, that it would be just a matter of time before it would, especially when international geo-political or polarities power balance of in favor either blocs would either shift, like a swinging pendulum, or suddenly and unexpectedly shake up to be more favorable to one of either of the sides, be waiting for any of the main opposing actors involved to seize the first opportunity to take the initiative and ignite it again because it would be both of either sides interest to do so at that point because of the presumably inherited unchanging militarized state of this one up until this point, buying of time in the meantime from this point to that very likely hypothetically possible one. In short, the purely Kosovo international opportunist legal justification scenario for annexation and incorporation back into a historical motherland country, out of the Vietnam one, seems like a more unlikely internationally unstable one for ensured long-lasting peace, with non-eruption of not so distant, very short-coming future hostilities when sufficient opportunities or justifications for it arise, especially in the very polarized world order and epoch which beginnings we are now living through by starting too see it take more and more slowly and solidly of a shape, outlining and ground day by day with a very low likelihood now of a hope, reaching it at this point, of returning back and receding it now to it's previously relatively more stable, expected and predicateble state in the not so long ago past and that are currently now in the beginning phases of living through it's subsequent layered dismantling, failure and slow, ultimate collapse right now currently at it's seemingly more definitive and tangible starting signs and beginnings, for either side to seize the opportunity and take and restart it immediately from the previous temporary cease-fire and non-definetly honoured and upheld peace agreement at the first available chance they seized and get due to some instability happening again in important power and economic poles of the world and/or/either some of their or some key supply chain regions, places or countries in the world. Well, that were off the top of my personal thinking hat my first impressions and two cents on a part of an example used as a possibility in this theory and on the shaky, not really and fully adequately one-hundred percent compatible and fitting in this projected scenario of one of the possibilities of resolution Kosovo case analogy, which I didn't think was a perfectly adequate example of the author, even though the other ones in this very probability theory oriented and centered application on current international relations and raging conflicts within them with a dose of uncertainty projections, were pretty elucidating and damn compelling for a layman just starting to discover and consider viewing international relations resolutions of the world as well as through this probability theory oriented lense, of Goliath definetly winning probability projected scenario in the Russia-Ukraine war case due to the actual current shaky international and inter-state reality of the actual Kosovo situation itself. ?? -

Interesting Relatively Short Essay in IR Theory on the Explanation of the Polarities Concept, including Multipolarity, it is before the concept then subsequently got baggaged with or viewed through a lense of plenty of ideology in between by various other authors and writers who appropriated it as a concept in the popular imagination and used it as a platform to either advance or promote in contrast their own wider ideological worldviews and prescriptions: "I contend that the use of polarity concept in the Russian foreign policy does not follow any clear line although it borrows much from classical realism and it is rather an eclecticist mixture of different theoretical perspectives." https://1drv.ms/w/s!AuiXCCugHujecscuF8HwRInBgZY 2002-00-Multipolarity (2) (1).pdf -

Some Russian authors and military history analysts also admit this, though of course phrasing it differently and with more added military technical and strategic jargon nuance, that historically more often than not the Russian military, in it's various different manifestations and forms, operated on the overall military strategic principle of the "horde", mostly in continental wars - in the Mongol sense of overwhelming your opponent eventually through phased commissioning or mobilization of overwhelming and absolute superiority of numerical availability of troop deployment and subsequent mobility momentum gained by that in winning some few very strategically critical threshold battles after which you can begin to overwhelm and steamroll your opponent slowly and steadily purely on the basis of you being able to in a war of attrition of available military resources framework sustain much bigger, drastic and insane loss differences to the number of available troops than he can ever hope to survive and still remain relevant militarily in the war and of course if that momentum gained is strong, forceful and directed enough at one limited time span and point to break your opponent's main thrusting and operating forces in few key strategic battles and maneuvers and use that still remaining numerical superiority advantage to force him (his state) to give in to now lost formerly achieved territorial gains, and subsequently probably lose some more of it's own as form Russian/East Slav troop losses and sacrifice compensation and concession (the land gain to spilled blood and corpses ratio ?) and force it to sign a non-beneficial cease-fire treaty or capitulate all together to be on the mercy of it's subsequent gains and territorial partition, parcelization and division of part of it to Russia or Russian sphere of influence as one of the victors. -

The Theory of the Multipolar World edition from 2021 (originally first published in 2012) is your go-to manifesto of Dugin's to understand the ideological underpinnings behind this attempted regime-change operation turned full-scale war and it's wider, global geo-political power shift goals and global power equilibrium aims, in reference to China and Iran as well. It is almost basically a contemporary manifesto equivalent of chief Nazi ideologue Alfred Rosenberg's Myth of the 20th century book, that called for re-making the then post-WWI world international order of the Paris Peace Conferences of Triple Entente imperial powers and Soviet Union in the East in the 20th century with Germany in the center as the new revived historicist civilizational and cultural central power ushering in a new European, and subsequent world order based on of course inherent racial and cultural superiority away from the post-war economic boom shallow hyperconsumerist opulence and extreme decadence displayed in their view in the roaring 20's capitalist world attempt to construct a kind of new superficial, identitless cosmopolitan consumer and the Soviet world's attempt to construct a version of that through the cultural and racial leveling of all the international workers of the world into this homogenised utopic ideal of the "new Red man", with of course an added millennium and centuries long anti-semitic historical conspiracy theory, rant and narrative slant added to all this ? -

The problem is that these Soviet eras or more modernized "tactical nukes" today are significantly stronger in their payloads and knT explosive power in today's nuclear theory world even than the set of two actual atomic bombs were, that were dropped on Japan and Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki at the end of World War Two. I also must say and note that it would be some kind of dark underlying historical irony at play or twist or a universal dark humor twisted and perverted joke, coincidence, or parallel at work here if the Ukrainian army and it's service members that adopted the meme based on pure breed Japanese Shiba dog pups as their semi-official online brand for the NAFO online group and movement and for their official online alter-ego avatars and personas on some social media platforms then proceeded to get nuked in full-swing like Japan at the end of World War Two while posting with Japanese Shiba dog avatars online ? But some still say that the Ukrainian army can still advance and make offensives even if it gets tactically nuked in some areas referring to the Clausewitz doctrines defending army four-point advantages and momentum gain: "The Prussian military general, strategist, and theorist Carl von Clausewitz defined the war with physics rules such as momentum, mass, acceleration, etc. with his book ‘On War’. Clausewitz recognized that defensive forces have always had important advantages over offensive forces: terrain, surprise, support of the people, and moral strength and that only absolute superiority in numbers can provide offensive forces with a guaranteed and assured advantage in this equation." and all that being said though a non-profit international NGO leading a campaign for the abolition of nuclear weapons has estimated and said that throwing a nuke of any type in any part of today's European continent, especially nuclear reactor-filled Ukraine, would have potentially have even more hidden backfire effects and potential into spiraling down into even more unpredictable wider collateral, external fallouts and more destructive and escalatory consequences in some simulations than the one's thrown at Japan, that is an island and that was a relatively isolated geographically position wise more from other parts of the world at that time as a more or less insulated island: "The International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN) says that Europe in 2022 is a much more dangerous place to use nuclear weapons than Japan in 1945, which had a smaller population and was relatively isolated: "In Europe today, a single nuclear detonation would likely kill hundreds of thousands of civilians and injure many more; radioactive fallout could contaminate large areas in multiple countries", ICAN said on its website. "Emergency services would not be able to respond effectively and widespread panic would cause mass movements of people and severe economic disruption. Multiple detonations, of course, would be much worse." Tactical warheads are intended for use on a limited battlefield, for example to destroy a column of tanks or a group of aircraft carriers if used at sea. These warheads, with an explosive power of 10 to 100 kilotons of conventional dynamite, are also called "low yield" bombs. Calling tactical weapons "low power bombs" is somewhat of a misnomer because explosive powers of 10 to 100 kilotons are still sufficient to cause mass destruction, as the world discovered in 1945 when the US dropped atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan. Those bombs had 15 or 21 kilotons of dynamite, so they were within range of Russian tactical nuclear weapons." -

I am not, and can't claim to be the best authoritative figure on this, since I pretty much got stuck basically halfway through my studies in the scientific field on the faculty here where I am from because I have failed and flunked on my tempo of studying enough and giving enough exams yearly for in order to have been basically by this time, after 5 years, getting an actual undergraduate degree in the field and I am now basically at a near point in the future where I am looking towards redirecting and re-specializing with the exams I have passed in the near future (about ideally a year from now) into a social work specialized private college with the savings I would have from inheriting an apartment from my grandad and splitting its sale here with the rest of my family (petty bourgeoisie stuff essentially). But, however, I feel I am kind of obliged by dedicating a part of my earthly time and human life in the past to dipping my toe in some parts, more in-depth than most at some points and elements and aspects of the field, and understanding some aspects of it to say this in the way I best can and can muster cohesive, concise and accurate thought, wording and phrasing to explain it, in the most straightforward and simplest way possible, from my experience from it and point of view on it and the world that I acquired from it, from briefly having the chance in engaging with it directly and empirically as a subject and field, and by having a chance to study it more in-depth in some parts, periods of time in my life and aspects of it as a scientific field and discipline in itself, the following about it, again from my point of view and experience inferred from engaging with on a bit longer of a basis (a phase of my life or a life phase of mine if you will): 1. Sociology is, as one of its most key and fundamental epistemic methodological aspects and foundations, a scientific field seeking to explain and interpret some phenomena in the world that concern the study and exploration of society in itself as phenomena, as a whole thing or being, and the quality and the form of its dependency on and interrelationships with other phenomena in the world, a very scientifically multi-disciplinary field that inter-laps with many different other fields of study and uses, re-formulates and re-contextualizes insights gathered in those fields and integrates it and incorporates into its own field and uses them as an added extra layer of the explanatory power of its own formulated theories on phenomena that concern and impact its own field of study, mainly society as a whole as a thing, reality and being. So one can maybe say that in this aspect that sociology is by its very nature as a scientific discipline, field, and science of society on its own, is a very comparativistically, contextually, and relativistically oriented kind of science, that uses empirical findings and theories from other scientific fields, disciplines, and branches to incorporate, reimagine, reformulate and re-integrate them into its own field of study about society giving its own unique theoretical and methodological slant on whatever topic or phenomena that concern human society in any way it wants to approach, explain and give a theoretical view for. And it's not only limited to the field of ''proper and hard'' sciences in doing this, but it also does this and takes this approach to also many other fields and can use insights gathered from more interpretative heavy fields of history, anthropology, philology, religiology and philosophy for example, that it can then use to apply in explaining society as a whole or some aspect of it or close phenomena relating to it (for example ecology as well). In this way, it truly becomes a multi-disciplinary, inter-relational, and comparativistically intensive field of study that uses findings, insights, and/or theories gathered from other fields to enrich its own or reformulate and re-explore them in the wider social whole and/or social concerning prism or using theories and concepts from of its own scientific corpus to form a brand new or unique theoretical or methodological basis. One of the main points and things about, as one of the female assistants and lecturers, summed it up well and said I think, in one of the first, first-year introductory courses on sociology relating to the course that was about an introduction to the basic concepts, theories, and apparatuses used and about the philosophy of science that also concerns sociology as a unique, particular kind of science, scientific field, and discipline, is that unlike most other scientific disciplines and fields it doesn't have a single dominant or prescribes to a single, overarching, overrepresented scientific paradigm in the discipline and that guides and directs the exploration of its field of study and it's assumptions at some point, before it is maybe revolutionized, transcended and replaced by another more accurate or epistemic one or evolved into another one from its previous basis and base assumptions, but that it in its field of interest and exploration, society, has always had multiple differing, competing, inter-lapping. interlaying and comparative ones from the start of its conception as a unique scientific field and discipline to its present-day mostly and at most times. That's the first part of what I wrote concerning my experiences and interpretations of sociology as a scientific field that I studied and engaged with, that I felt can maybe help and answer a part of your question from a brief albeit enriching and useful direct experience point of view. If this personal input seems at any point semi-valid on that basis and useful in its explanation and answering I planned on giving my answer and personal interpretative response to another part and aspects of your posed question and something as well that some other users mentioned here about the field itself from the perspective, of some of them from within it or of coming from different fields in looking at it and approaching it in some aspects in their answers, interpretations, and responses to your question, that I am of course not trying to overgeneralize or overelativize in saying they were neither or either right, wrong or completely straight, correct and fully on point in their general assessments and interpretations of it, even from a sense of maybe using more advanced or whole theoretical explanatory models in their eyes when attempting to analyze it and narrow it down to its core and basis and the ways in which it is mostly or in a lot of cases being used, advocated or interpreted in as a scientific field and the way it is often overgeneralizingly being represented, misrepresented or mostly externally painted as how it chooses to approach and study it's field of interest, mainly human society and almost anything and everything of all the aspects that concern it or impact it in some ways as phenomena in observable reality. Hope I wasn't being too unclear or confusing here with you with what I was trying to communicate or get at here, and that some of my current and up until this point answers here proved somewhat useful and at least elucidating to a point to you here on the topic you posed your question for and about Which of course I am not trying to pretend are definitive or a good solid source of authority given my current aforementioned past background and experience with it up until this point in my life -

The overall national culture in Russia is overall your standard stage Blue cookie-cutter traditionalism, historicism and nationalism. The most recent modern history of it's overall political institutions, culture and history of religious institutions and economic ways of state organization is also heavily dripped in stage Blue in it's very center and leaning much in some developed parts to the end of the spectrum into proper stage Orange. Are there any residual elements of stage Red shadow left from very violent and brutal parts of it's national history, probably yes in some degrees, aspects and quantities in the overall national consciousness. Are they present though in all the soldiers that were contracted and volunteered into going to Ukraine to fight and in their eyes overthrow and replace a government that's oppressing and discriminating against Russophonic, and Russian identified, pro-Russian Ukrainians and protect them on the basis of shared nationalism and national identification and orientation? You cannot say that soldiers and their commanders that were tasked in carrying the hardest and most difficult bulk of these tasks and operations are Red, they are very much Blue in their beliefs that probably led them to get interested in making a career in the army in the first place and field of human compassion, concern and consciousness. But a failed regime-change operation, which this initially was intended as, that turned into a bloody, brutal fratricidal war for resource, administrative and territorial snatching, grabbing, fortifying and annexation of course erupts and brings out the residual stage Red shadow existing in almost any national professional army, not just the Russian one. And those that committed the worst of these atrocities, massacres and perceived human horrors were either in large part contracted, basically trained soldiers that are either part of non-ethnic Russian minorities of either mixed or just one ethnic background that put a touch of their own ethnic traditional, rural or tribal cultures and customs in them and in their carrying out or ethnic Russians from very far off isolated, poor and backwards, undeveloped rural or small relatively isolated administrative city parts of European Russia or Russian Eurasia. This Ukrainian anti-Russian war propaganda, uses of course caricatures and cartoons, with semi-racial overtones, as did Walt Disney in his cartoons of World War Two, with overt ones, against some of the Axis powers, particularly the Japanese, and as they did against the Allied powers in their war propaganda posters, by homogenizing all Russian soldiers into this stereotypized Orcish looking figure to represent through this figure a kind of equalization of all Russian soldiers that participated in the Ukraine war, be they either the professional special operations forces, very professional long-term contracted soldiers or as I mentioned these short-term contracted basically trained soldiers, either being ethnic Russians or belonging to some ethnic minorities within Russia, as all equally culpable and complicit in some of these worst surfaced war crimes, atrocities and massacres, by their virtue of being mobilized into Ukraine at any point of the war, be it at the point of when it was initially concieved as a massively organized carried out military coup, government overthrow and regime change operation or when it evolved into this brutal WWI-like annexation race, trench warfare and artilery bombardment of fortifications and entrenched position slugfest with several WWII-era resembling massacres and atrocities carried out against some soldiers and civilians in between. They way I see it, it just an erupting of repressed layers of Red shadows, when given an adequate trigger, means and resources and aid and help in doing so, all at once existing through the long history of the region, under a fairly Blue attempted construction of a solid and stable structure, that wasn't properly enough dealt with, given attention to and taken care of, addressed, overcomed and vetted. It is essentially a conflict that erupted on the pendulum in it's overall median representation of still center stage Blue swinging into it's stage Red shadow from time to time and stage Blue that was slowly swinging towards and entering into the beginnings of a more solid and long-term stabilizing foundations of stage Orange particularity, individuation and uniqueness for the long run, through an attempt of a re-constructed special people's and history nationalism. -

Cartoons are at the end of the day all caricatures and cartoonish representations of real human beings, their psychology and life in general, no matter how much a kernel of truth each of them might hold and want to point to and show towards, they are fundamentally limited in some aspects in depicting it accurately. At the end the video, it advocates a stage Orange prescriptor and materialist solution to their perceived low quality conformist life and lifestyle of some individuals in Russia, which sounds much more simpler in theory than it is in practice of how such a fundamental wealth, prosperity and abundance transformation might occur for not just in a part, but of and for the whole of Russia. And of course it is biased in showing all or most Ukranians as implicitly more prosperous and developed on the average than most Russians, playing in into nationalist self-adulating, self-gratifying and self-ascribed overall superiority on the average and collective and collective identity homogenization false and flawed common traps, tropes and pitfalls of us vs them faulty, incomprehensive and unholistic selective narratives, that play into war as means of final, easy and quick solutions and gains of something for those same manipulative governments and organizations, while Ukraine had one of the worst GDPs and relative yearly GDP growths in Europe relative to total population size in one significant and large period relative to the 2014 crisis and until the onset of this war of all the former Soviet Socialist Republics, because of a plethora of problems, some externally caused by Russia of course but a lot of them internal, not one of which was very severee acute corruption among a plethora of different and rotating government officials, not just pro-Russian ones. However I will admit the resemblences between this stereotypized Russian young guy transformative and influential childhood and young adult growing up period before being drafted as a soldier and a typical Serb nationalist sports thug and/or football fan in some of their caricaturized stereotypical habits, ways of behaving and some similarities in some historical or world outlooks and attitudes is very stark in representation in this video (even though there are plenty of sports fans stereotypized in Ukraine like this as well) ? Was this video and cartoon made soon afterward during the mobilization announcement, or is it from before just after Bucha, since I noticed the patterns of subtly suggesting plundering, robbery, massacres and rape, as a sort of fear and panic creation and sowing propaganda campaign of threat of revenge and reprisals against more Russian soldiers who are maybe thinking in volunteering or getting involved, not fully on board or voluntary, through this latest mobilzation call and draft in some parts of the Ukraine war in the frontline contested or currently occupying areas? And, yes in reference to your claim on LOC environments determining you future, yes that is surely apart but there is also a wider cultural doctrination and programming at play in it as well, shaped by the espoused official ideology of historical revisionism and interpretation of the civilization and culture and aspects of which you choose more or less to identify with and claim and feel belonging to, nationalism by your state and who it predominantly excludes, blames, demonizes and targets as a scape goat or trumped up alarmist outer threat by your official government policy and stance ? Nobody can escape this sometimes if the state has enough power, control and coercion over your wider civil society and no matter on which class level you are situated onto in the wider nation's society as a whole, generally located in, in terms overall more likely geographic location or area abundance and dispersion in your state, or feel belonging to. It is the young, poor and those on the lower socio-economic class levels in society that are killed most in wars, and on the flipside are often the ones who are most likely the one's to resort to kill and to benefit from wars due to relatively more mobile, quicker and easier social ladder advancements and gains, in terms of some other more difficult, long-term trying and demanding proffesions. And yes young poor and unqualified in other professions, contract soldier, volunteered and drafted Ukrainian soldiers are also benefiting and have an implicit incentive and deeply baked in driven personal and social career advancement interest and profit motive as well in their state apart from the collective solidarity, care and values patriotic one for eliminating, killing, maiming and disabling as much as possible and as many as possible younger or older Russian soldiers and their equipment drafted into Ukraine and constructed and invested in military infrastructure and getting rid of their possible supporters in the civilian populations in some areas in this war as well if they win in terms of the benefits they might receive later and military professional advancement opportunities in their new state order, if you want to look at it on that flipside from that part as well ?. -
You should ask yourself very self-reflectively, clearly and realistically to yourself here and then proceed honestly answer to yourself and with yourself what is your end-goal and aim here, no matter how noble, compassionate, brave, beautiful and conscious they might be in the present moment and the ideal, with it's realistic goals and the possiblity of their achievements in the near future with these protests and if you have any realistically achieveable and possible any to force the government to repeal the compulsory hijab wearing religious observation law or you actually engaging in attacking the very foundations of the Iranian state-regime and it's corresponding theocracy and theocratic system. I would advise you not to do the latter since you will be most likely be immediately be proceeded to be stigmatised and discredited as a legitimate protest movement at all and as a whole of being smeared and branded as seeking opportunistically to grab and snatch deliberately state levers of power, and seeking to be a government and society destabilizing Western funded or influenced fifth column colour revolutionaries or color revolutionary front for Western-backed overthrowing of Iran's current regime or another Western astroturfed regime change operation in Iran and against the current Iranian government as a whole at the behest of their rivals and adversaries in Western nations who want to see them replaced with more obedient, servile, dependent and beneficiary government to them will just lead to it to be even more, even as genuine just moderate reformist movement for more gender equality, most likely to be used as an excuse to be brutally suppressed, repressed and prosecuted afterwards as a national security and order stability threat on the basis of those false exaggerated, pumped up and downright manufactured or made up quick alarmist pretexts. If you approach this at a more incrementalist and gradualist approach by forcing your legislature to vote to repeal that law through creative online means (organized movement petitions or on platforms that are still available, and not censored or taken down by the regime, and followed in Iran by a lot of younger generations and people of course) and open public and social political activism to create constant creative and flexible pressure, obstructive action and mass appeal campaigns just for this one law to be taken down by legal mechanisms in your still existing republican institutions, while not endangering the very foundations, mechanisms of government and continuing survival of the theocratic regime because of this in the Iranian state and society i.e. not advocating or attempting a full-on maximalistic position of revolutionary overthrowing just completely the current theocratic regime system and regime changing it, because you actually might just succeed in repealing some of these laws eventually hopefully sooner rather than later by just using these separation of powers legal mechanisms that are still given to you and that you have at your disposal still in your current state at least in theory currently. Do you have any current political parties in the Islamic Republic Parliament who are more reformist and reform oriented in approach to gradually strip down some most austere measures of theocratic laws in your current Iranian politics or propose an amendment or change to the Constitution of just this one clause or law impacting and changing the seveerity and austerness of the unequivocal need in public spaces in all cases of mandatory maintenance of this hijab religious observance law if it is baked within the Constitution and if it's a more important clauses as being a foundational element of an Islamist Republic or state which Iran claims to be, that you know of by chance? For example just advocating more equality for women in Iranian society under the auspices of some slightly reformist, progressive but still pro-Islamist party (in terms of maintaining still an Islamic Republic with it's corresponding institutions in accordance with your current countries constitution and founding constitutional order). And as I said the only thing that I will advise you against is approaching this to get full-on maximalistic theocratic system, state and regime change demand at this very moment by seeking any foreign aid or assistance or attempting to cause a severee stir or total state, social or economic paralysis in order to get the regime to respond aggressively or brutally so you can maybe call enough for some maybe possible joint US, Israel and Saudi on humanitarian excuses military intervention through atrocity propaganda, and you don't want to surely go the way of that road to cause your people to be deliberately martyred (that's what the cleric authoritarian have done and ocassionally continue to do and their lack of concern for the cost and value of each individual human life other than as a collective tribute and of course the exclusive concern for the narrow, selfish and hypocritical safety of their own one and their families and close relatives and clans own one) in order for the brutalities, horrors and abuses to appear so bad on the Western and international media lense for their to be an active international movement drumming up for foreign military or international peacekeeper military involvement, rolling and fired up to demand a humanitarian type joint US Mid East allies military intervention in the country to overthrow and replace the regime that does these horrible abuses to it's people and their basic human rights. Hope I didn't sound too confusing and that you can read and understand this text with clarity, that sorry I wrote in hurry over the phone so once again I am sorry if it's too confusing or filled with some or a lot here and there semi-confusing grammar errors. I hope it's clear, clarifying enough for you and that you can read and understand clearly what I aimed to say, communicate with you and advise you on this problem and the possible approaches to it's solving. Godspeed as well I hope you succeed in some of your demands in change of the rigid, strict or inflexible religious hijab observance laws to be more moderate, realistic, less gender segregationistic and discriminatory and more optional as an individual choice in public spaces by using creative, obstructionist and reformist means to somehow with the current republican institutions that you have at your disposal enact some legal changes and hopefully create gradually some reformist movement that you can turn into a popular front and younger generation reformist political party that might if it uses the momentum and energy of this protest movement win enough votes, representation and power in your government and it's existing legislature might get some of your most urgent demands and law reforms passed through as a first big step and move sooner rather than later, perhaps and work on gradually towards more bigger and comprehensive goals and tasks of even deeper and wider systemic change reflecting more and more the voices and values shared by a new younger generation later? If this at all seems like a possible solution and option in this point in time for your future politics from your direct living experience there and that I hope I am not offending you and/or sound like I am gaslighting you or trying to neuter your energy and will for change by suggesting this more patient, incremental and gradual reformist approach if it at all seems like a viable option at this point of time to gain any advantage, results and benefit from these protests and your shown bravery, courage and selfless sacrifice, compassion and solidarity for others at them in a tangible small gradual political change and concessions way hopefully to not give further excuses and opportunitistic justifications for the repressive and oppressive apparatus of the state-regime to further repress you, disempower, censor you and have more power and control over you than before by their using of their convenient propaganda tools at their disposal to dismiss the legitimacy of your protests and demands paint this opportunitistically and conveniently for them and their own continued unobstructed and unreformed maintenance by painting it as an outside interference caused foreign influencing and meddling crisis, and not as result of your organically and spontaneously generated, domestic national movement of seeking justice and more equality for your and all Iranian women in your society, in it's laws and in it's current government and state . Godspeed once again to you all and your brave, defiant and heroic women, you don't have to respond to this long response of mine if you don't want to. My aim was just that I wanted to quickly as possible in my post offer you some of my perspectives on this, potential suggestion and advice from across the Sea and desert in hope that they might have at least some theoretical worth and value to you and that they can be used as such to be helpful to you in this regard for getting closer to the answer of finally solving and resolving this problem for yourself, your women and the wider community there. Once again God bless you all, and hopefully I wish for you to all stay safe, good and secure and get some of your social changes demands eventually, sooner rather than later ?? Cheers and Support from Serbia, to you, your women fighting for their basic rights in public and for the all of you there who want to see real, progressive and more conscious changes and changes in your vast, culturally rich, different and beautiful culture and civilization-society based on mutual equality of all based on their innate characteristics and sometimes simply vast different cultural, social life-held conditions and background programmings ??

But if the depravity of the Russian leadership and high-command and propagandization and desperation of their people is sufficiently high enough to back testing one out, in a perceived threatening or desperate situation by the advancement of the Ukrainian army and their reclamation of some strategically key or important territories in Ukraine for the Russian military and it's supporting population there overall, it is sufficiently high-enough chance existing they might try to use it on some key Ukrainian army military-strategic position since the Ukrainian army doesn't have any of their own to retaliate with, for it to become a full-blown nuclear escalation. But I would assume they wouldn't do it so carefree and lightheartedly even if they were desperate enough to use it as a threatening and coercive mechanism to stabilize and enforce the existing status quo battlefield borders and frontlines, since the recoilment in mix of horror, disgust and shock and the condemnation and the pressure for that in the international sphere and response to that would be immense, even if it didn't lead to drawing of more parties in the war now directly or potential direct NATO military intervention or involvement as the aftershocks and aftereffects of that would potentially reverberate across the world, I presume once that long-held taboo to that would be violated and it's devastating effects and their further potential consequences become fully apparent to most. -

They are very low-yield and area restricted, the point of their development in the first place was for their specific and limited use in combat operations of close geographic proximity on the ground. The newer versions allegedly don't leave that much of devastating radiation effect afterwards on the limited area they are used. They are only referred as nuclear in the sense as far as I understood in terms of their relative destructive capabilities in comparison to other warhead payloads, in that specific combat area or area of military strategic interest of their deployment and use. The only underlying factor would be the moral reprehensibality of their use in terms of breaking a long-held taboo and international existing agreements on using it actively in a country and on it's people during actual war-time and the potential overall collateral humanitarian catastrophic and destructive costs they might have, not to mention them being a trigger for a further spiralling down of and into hate, violence, barbarity and aggression as you mentioned.
