I think "betraying" is a strong word. You are doing something fishy aand your intuition is telling you about it. I would be more concerned if you really should spend the rest of your life with a person who is so different from you that you can't find a wedding setting that suits you both. You are basically starting your marriage with negativity and doubt. That's not good. It's not only her moment. It's your moment as well. And if you actually plan to spend the rest of your lifw with her, then it is a pretty signifcant moment. So why not do it properly, the way you want. Your mindset remind me of child's mindset, where a parents told him what to wear and what to do, so he does it. You are not a child anymore. You can decide how you want to get married by yourself. You can literally create the wedding of your dreams and do whatever you want with it. And ideally, you would have a partner who shares enough values with you so that it's her ideal version of a wedding as well. But maybe I am being overly idealistic and you should just settle for what you have. Idk, it's your choice

Respect is given - by you. You can respect people unconditionally without them having to earn anything. Once again, stop pretending like you care about her future, you don't. 1) This might come as a suprise for you, but most men have never been to a sex worker of any kind. So yeah, most those men who use your services likely have various mental and personal life issues. 2) 99% of men don't do pickup either. 3) Approaching girls is actually fun and exciting. And it's totally up to you how you do it. It's your choice to lie or be honest, to look for a one night stand or a soulmate. Cold approach is just a skill.

I didn't really mean that you are consciously preying on them. I didn't even mean you personally. I just wanted to describe the relationship dynamic. The same can be said about heroin addicts. Are they really in a good state of mind to make their own choices? Choices that are good for them? Once again, I am not shaming you. I don't think that what you are doing is horrible and shameful. It's just that you were comparing it to the mcdonalds work so I wanted to point out how it is not that different as an industry. I work in logistics and help to transport medicine to sick people. However, this is not a point. I am not shaming your job. Pleasr don't take it in that way.

1) You are preying upon people who are mostly sex addicts. Some of them probably have families and wives. But instead of becoming a therapist and offering them help and support you are extracting money from them. 2) Unless you are completely on your own, you are earning money for the same type of a douchebag who runs mcdonalds. And just because this douchebag doesn't abuse you personally, doesn't mean he doesn't abuse anyone else. 3) Ultimately, what you are doing causes the same harm mcdonalds is causing, just on a smaller scale and in a different way, because your bosses weren't cunning enough to be as successful as mcdonalds.
