@Leo Gura I think you've been very biased and off point yourself in this thread. For example Emerald, was raising valid questions and asking to give any specific critique of what she said, and your answer was: "Your mind is stuck at stage green". When she wasn't even arguing from the stage green pov that much. Do you think that it was an intellectually honest answer to give? To quote you: a chat bot could give a better response. You tell her and others to go and watch 10 hours of Musk interviews, but couldn't spend 5 minutes to seriously entertain her postion and give a genuine response. Secondly, you seem to have some serious beef with stage green and be unfairly biased against it. Whenever it's a stage orange or below perspective, we are supposed to be unbiased and think about it deeply, without judgement. But when it comes to stage green, it's okay to just dismiss it as moralistic, self-deceptive and cookie-cutter, right? You seem to forget, that stage green in the next stage of development for all of the 1st world countries. So even though it might not be absolutely true, or the highest perspective ever. It is still more developed than orange and the rest, and is totally appropriate for the situation. We need more stage green perspectives and policies, not less. Environment Fair taxation More regulations of corporations Human rights Less corrupt governments All of those are very relevant right now. You can talk about how idealistic and stuoid stage green people are, but the fact is that if the maajority of the world would be stage green, we would be in a much better place right now.

Exactly. And I don't think it is a surprise that people on a self-actualization forum don't respect biased, selfish, and unconscious people. What does it matter if they are original in this or not?

@Leo Gura why do they have to be original if they are still on point? This is not a contest of who can trash talk Musk better. He is selfish, he has low integrity, he doesn't care about anyone but himself, he is immature. Those qualities make me not like him. Is there anything wrong with people being turned off by people like that? Is that stage green or just common decency? I am pretty sure that there are stage orange and blue people who dislike Musk for the same reason. And even if it's really stage green, is it really a bad aspect of stage green? Because you can talk as much as you want about how cookie ctter and predictable it is, but in the end of the day, they are right: it is harmful for us as a society to let people like Musk have so much unregulated power. Do you disagree with any standard left talking points on this? Taxation,wages, worker rights, etc.?

Also, I think that you don't give enough credit to people on this forum. You basically dismissed every argument in this thread as "you hate him cause you are stage green". Many people here are above green, or at the very least not just green. And most arguments weren't about him supporting trump or whatever, they were about him being a shitty person as a whole. Imo, musk has very low integrity and is immature, even if he is not a con artist per say, and that's what people here mostly criticized him for.

Is it moralistic to say that he talks and behaves like an idiot? You say that twitter posts shouldn't be used to judge a person, but why not? Do you see any actual smart and serious people have post history of a 14 year old troll? The way I see it, anyone can say anything about themselves in an interview setting. Trump probably has some interviews that make him look very smart. But how they behave in their daily life is much more representative.

Don't you think there is a silver lining there? It seems to me like you have a pretty clear anti-western bias. Are you opinions on all those things the way they are because they are actually true or are you just trying to align the facts with you already existing beliefs and focus your attention only on things that reinforce them?

I see, thanks. How it relates to what you were talking about in the gender video though? The whole identity being completely made up. Not just man/woman, but also being human. You've mentioned that there is no such thing as a human in real reality it's just a label that we put on what we see. If there are clear patterns to how something is, than that means that the category is not completely made up? I understand that you can talk from different perspectives, but still.

But Israel is alone in the sea of enemy nations. What makes you think that it could survive if they were technologically equal or that they wouldn't want to destroy it? Are you just trusting that America will be able to protect it forever?

Okay, so by that logic, as soon as middle eastern countries become developed enough, they will stop getting bullied and will become bullies themselves, eradicating Israel. So the main condition for Israels's survival is to keep all the countries in the middle east intentionally underdeveloped, which I don't think is possible. Which would mean that Israel is going to be destroyed sooner or later. I guess their strategy of oppression is self-defeating, if you look at it like that.

I don't believe that a group punishment of mass extermination is a proportionate response to terrorism. One side's terrorists are another sides freedom fighters. If Russia completely took over Ukraine tomorrow and the only option Ukrainians had left was partisan warfare/terrorism/sabotage. Would you also be advocating for putting all Ukrainians into concentration camps and/or bombing the hell out of them? And it is only self defeating if you are weak. If you are a powerful country like the US, or Russia, or China, you can kill and oppress millions of people and face almost no serious reprecussions.

Bht what if this relatively higher development is a result of the lower developed side being actively bullied and prevented from ever having an opportunity to develop itself? But even you admit that there is no solution for this war. Israel is just going to keep bombing palestine until its unlivable and all palestinians are dead / gone. End result for palestinians is actually worse than it would be for Israelis if the sides were reversed. Because at least Israelis would have a whole bunch of first world countries where they could escape to. Palestinians are not even accepted as refugees to shitty middle eastern dictatorships. So the only choice they have is to literally sit there and go extinct, abandoned by the whole world.

Israel would never do that. Israel views palestinians like less than humans. Even aside from current bombings, they were actively opressing palestinian people in their daily lives. And you want them to suddenly develop a desire for helping Palestinians develop.

Yeah, like being fucked over by the west for half a century
