@LambdaDelta thanks. This is very helpful. Wdym by body load (beyond toilet stuff)? I read this poat on reddit about combining mushrooms and lsd when microdosing. They seem to have great results. I wonder what you think about that. https://www.reddit.com/r/Psychedelics/s/xkePqDEna6

Hi @Leo Gura, I remember watching a video that you've made a while ago about some drug that can be used for increasing focus and productivity. Unfortunately, I don't remember what it was called and can't find the video. Do you know which one I am talking about, maybe?

I need some objective perspective from people who are not into barefoot running, but eho are also not super close minded about the topic. How real are chances of a tick biting me, or me cutting myself and getting tetanus, etc., if run barefoot. I asked this in the barefoot running groups and the common answer is: "yeah, and you can also get hit by a car or get struck by a meteorite".

So I decided to follow Leo's advise and watch some interviews with Elon Musk. The first one the I stumbled upon is this interview with Jordan Peterson And oh my god, it's so hard to watch. Jordan Peterson talks like he is on crack. He speaks super fast and with kind of anxiety. His head looks like it is about to explode. He honestly sounds a bit insane. He doesn't let Elon talk and constantly interrupts him, without even noticing it. It seems like he is talking to himself sometimes. I am not going to dive into all the nonsense that he said, because this is beyond the point. I don't understand how you can treat a person as a serious thinker/intellectual when they don't have basic self-awareness to let the person they are interviewing talk. This is just silly. I wonder how his interview with Leo would go if it ever happened.

DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT PLAN TO KILL MYSELF IN THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE I know this is a controversial, but there is no other place where I could possibly discuss it, so I hope it's okay. *** My question is: what's so wrong about suicide metaphysically? I understand advising people against it because it's a politically correct thing to do, and you don't want to get in trouble, but in reality, is there any reason why you shouldn't kill yourself? If you die, you will become one with the universe / god. You will either become hyper aware of everything and omnipotent, or you will fade away into nothingness and will not feel anything ever again. Both options sound fine to me. There is also a chance that you might get re-incarnated, suggesting that there is a layer with ghosts and souls in between our realm and God consciousness. That also doesn't sound that bad. You could basically use suicide as a reset button, until you reincarnate with the cards you want to play with. If a person doesn't really feel like living or if they suffer a lot, why should they bother and stick around. Additionally, what if I am impatient and don't want to do all this spiritual work? I could just kill myself and get all the answers right away. I hope this perspective doesn't sound too childish, I am really curious about those questions. -

Confirmed what? I am just pointing out crators in your logic. Left promotes being tolerant and inclusive towards people that are different from you : people from different cultures, races, people with different sexual orientations, etc. Show me an example where "left" says that you are supposed to be tolerant towards bigots and bullies? I am honestly not sure what's your issue here and why you got so stuck on this loint. You need to have intelligence of a coffee table to not see the difference. -
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13739075/amp/Olympic-child-rapist-Steven-van-velde-interview.html I was wondering what you guys think about this case. The crime happened 10 years ago, when he was 19. He is 30 now and seems to have his life together. Do you think people like that should be allowed to turn their lives around like that and to be forgiven? Or should we just shame and shun them forever, as a society? It might sound controversial, but I think that it's a good thing that he was allowed to rebuild his life. It's better for the society and is in line with being compassionate and forgiving. On the other hand, seeing him get away so easily (he only served 1 year in prison) might send a wrong message to other potential rapists and pedophiles. Idk... I guess this also ties in with whether you think that people can genuinely change or not.

Oh, you mean like how you assumed the shit out of me yesterday and how you are constantly trying to pick arguments with people who just mind their own business because of your own projections? You mean like your judgements of the left or of trans people? That are so pervasive in your thinking that you can't shut up about it and keep starting the same debate about it here again and again? Please don't drag slirituality into this. Two can play this game. Right does virtue signal and does pretend to be something they are not. Right can't shut up about stage blue moral values and christianity, and how left is selfish and hedonistic, while voting for the most hedonistic rapist and con artist that they could find in America. Left never pretended to be absoultely non judgemental and uncondotionally loving. Do you expect them to be angels or something? You have a mess in your head, and you are confusing spiritual values that people are talking about on this forum with the left. -

At least left judges people for their actual faults in their character / actions. Like lacking integrity, lying, being a bigot, mistreating other people, mistreating nature, mistreating animals. Right judges people simply because they exist... So I don't think you should be the one talking. -

@Scholar I don't know. I haven't gotten around to studying Elon yet. But that was not the point of what Leo was saying. -

@Scholar it's literally one paragraph... The insightful thing is that everyone is on a bandwagon of judging Elon based on Twitter comments and other random social media posts they see about it. This is very unoriginal and unintelligent. A smart thing to do would be to actually study him, without judgement, and gain deeper understanding of his personality, and then form your opinion based on that. Because there are things that you could respect about him, even if his politics are bad. -

@Scholar you should check Leo's comments about Elon. He has a point. -

@LordFall I didn't say that my actions have no effect on others. I said that I am not responsible for making everyone around me feel happy. I've done this my whole life. I've been a people pleaser my whole life. Worrying about every little thing and sacrificing my own interests in order to not upset anyone. Trust me, it didn't lead to anything good. -

But even Leo said that you can't know what will happen. I hate it when people try to guilt trip you with this argument. I am not responsible for other people's happiness. Asking a person to keep suffering for the sake of not hurting somebody else's feelings is selfish. -

Yeah, I agree. I don't know why but it's hard to judge their decision without full information. I was mostly asking for opinions on this. That's what I've been thinking as well.
