@Davino ok, thank you

My speaking skills are bad. And big part of it is because I am simply afraid to talk and express myself. I haven't tried it yet, but I think AI can be really good and helping me to fix this simply because it will allow me to talk as much as I want without the fear of being judged or saying something stupid. An alternative way would be to start socializing a lot, going to toast masters and do other stuff like this. Which is great, but it's a much bigger commitment and I don't have time an energy for it right now. So I think an opportunity to practice your speaking skills without "getting out of bed" is really nice.

How on earth is it possible to: Have a job Have a social life Spend time with your family Workout: cardio, strength training, and flexibility Have a relationship Do personal development and spirituality Have time for yourself to relax, enjoy your hobbies, and whatever Eat healthy Are there people who actually manage to do all of these and not burn out or is this just a self-help myth of an ideal life?

How? -
By internet addiction I mean everything that you online simply to get some dopamine: youtube, tv shows, movies, games, social media, reddit, even actualized.org to some degree. My main question are: 1. Is quiting cold turkey really the best option? 2. How do you draw a line between using internet for good and wasting time on it? Even sites like reddit have a tonn of good information on many specialized topics, so I am reluctant to cut the out completely. But then if I don't there is a high potential for me just getting sucked into scrolling it forever. 3. How do you strike a balance when it comes to allowing yourself to enjoy some stuff, like good movies and video games? Once again, I feel reluctant to just remove them completely from my life. 4. How do you get through the initials feelings of void when you haven't adopted any positive habits yet and dopamine withdrawal in general? Should I just suck it up?

@LifeEnjoyer thanks. Do you listen to them with headphones on? Do they have any lasting effect on you or does it work only when you are actually listening? -
I've started watching the documentary from Leo's blog and it is so disgusting. I just don't understand the amount of mental gymnastics that is necessary to support and justify what they did to Palestine. It's not just the taking of the land itself that astounds me, it is the brutality and cold-bloodedness of it. Referring to another thread on the same topic, I think that ethnic cleansing is a totally correct term to use. And after all these horrors, people have surprised Pikachu face when terrorist organizations start to pop up, lol. Also, it really puts into perspective how I view the west vs China, Russia, Soviet Union, etc. I am obviously 100% against what China and Russia are doing now, because one evil deed doesn't make another okay but, in my opinion, it really shows how good people are at demonizing things that are convenient to demonize and justifying things that are convenient to justify. When you really look at it, what the Soviet Union did is not so different from what the west did in Palestine in terms of cruelty. The only difference is scale.

@r0ckyreed i see, thank you -
@Buck Edwards he mean what emeral daid about men loving sex like scooby doo loves food. Leo says that for every scooby doo sex, as in: non picky sex for the sake of sex, there is also a woman involved. So not all women are gordon ramsey.

@MaDoubt thank you. I just don't want to mess with harder drugs until I see what results I can get with just healthy diet, sleep, exercise, meditation, and limiting internet addiction

I am struggling with ADHD and would like to try prescription meds for it. Unfortunately, I don't have enough money at the moment to afford multiple sessions with a psychiatrist to a get a prescription (and then to visit them regularly afterwards to renew it). On top of that, I had a rather bad experience with the psychiatrists that I did talk to. I was wondering if there is an alternative route that I could take. Like a drug that I could get without a prescription. Or if there is some kind of gray market for ADHD meds, like how there are "research chemicals" for psychedelics. I know that sourcing is not allowed here, but I would appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction.

Can someone please clarify this point from the postmodernism video to me. I don't understand how postmodernism can reject the existence of the original intent behind the text. If we establish that "whether Leo is wrong or right doesn't really matter", then what is the issue with saying that "there is such a thing as what Leo meant objectively"? An argument that a person doesn't have a full transperency over their mind doesn't seem strong enough and kind of falls under "it doesn't matter if their intention is wrong or right". If there was a specific intent behind the video, book, etc., it shouldn't really matter where this intent is coming from or why does a person have such intent and not another. All that matters is that there was this particular intent. Am I wrong?
