But I can't do it. That's the issue. I am trying to find something that will give me a leg up and will allow me to sleep better, eat better, do a dopamine detox, exercise, etc.

@Michael569 I wouldn't say it's anxiety "attacks" per say. More like overthinking and catastrophising think which then also ties it into overwhelm and procrastination. Basically, I easily get super anxious and overwhelmed even by very minor things, and procrastinate because of it, I guess. For example, this year I've been very paranoid about procrastinating at work. There were multiple times where I thought that I am completely fucked, worrying that I will get fired or fail in some really catastrophic way, and almost had a nervous breakdown and quit myself to prevent it. But every time nothing bad happens and during the yearly review last month I got "exceeding expectations" grade from my team leader, lmao. This example is fairly big, but I can do the same thing about smaller stuff like fixing a bike, or selling my old clothes, or applying for a residence permit, etc. I will get into these stress spirals, being anxious 24/7 and procrastinating even more because of it, only to find out that the thing I was worried about takes a few hours to do and is kind of enjoyable... This is the constant theme for me. So it's not like I actually have too much on my plate, even though this can also be the case sometimes, but it's not the main factor. Do you think nervine route will be better for me? I've started taking those recently. I think it helps, but it's hard to tell because it is all so subtle. My grandma actually used to give me valerian pills, almost daily, when I was a kid. Because I would also stress a lot or be over active or something, I am not sure. I don't really remember what effect it had on me, if any, because it was so long ago. Does valerian also work in the same way as the plants you've mentioned?

@Leeo_SA yes, I am taking them, but without mixrodosing at the moment. It's hard to say what helps and what doesn't because I take everything together, and I also don't feel anything special. It just feels kind of solid, I guess. I think it makes me less anxious and prone to procrastination. My goals are: dealing witg adhd, anxiety, procrustination. I would like to try those as well. Have no idea where to get Iboga though. I see that you are from switzerland, do you get it locally or is there some international website?

It can't be used as a currency because it's changing so much. Is the only reason it's valuable is because people can make money from it? People keep mining it and buying it because they hope they will make a profit if its value increases and so its value increases because people keep buying it. While it doesn't have any actual value (at least I don't see any?). It is kind of strange-loopey, lol.

Not sure if this is the right sub-forum, but I guess it's kind of related to dating and human relationships. In your opinion, are those shoes okay for men? Would I look weird in them? If not, what kind of pants will work with those shoes in terms of style / colour?

@Raze imagine if they started offering health insurance literally at a cost of running business. Charging just enough to cover the expenses and pay everyone a decent salary. Literally all of America would switch to them, purely from the market domination perspective - they would outcompete everyone else. But that won't happen because shareholders and CEOs need their billions. -

Outcompeted in what? Profits? If by outcompeted you mean losing business and going bankrupt than why would that be the case? If united health offered the best insurance for its money and wasn't actively trying to screw people out of coverage as opposed to milking people for every last penny, it would outcompete everyone else and only get more customers. Sure, shareholders and CEOs wouldn't be earning as much, but they would totally be doing better as a company. -
I invite anyone who is interested to watch this documentary on animal abuse and exploitation and then share their thoughts. I am currently on minute 6 and I can't imagine how huge the balls of the journalists who were filming all that must be.

@Jason Actualization how much energy do you spend on distilling water? Do you pay a lot for electricity? Also, most water distillers come with those charcoal sachets that are supposed to catch any chemicals and organic compounds that have lower boiling temperature than water. But I don't have high hopes in them. What do you think about that?

I plan to replace all of my drinking water with glass bottles for sustainability, but I am also curious if drinking from the plastic ones is actually harmful. Do they leak microplastics into the water, and are there any other potential concerns besides that?

I think this is the case for me, but maybe I am just imagining things.

I did some research and those two models seem the best: Aquatru Carafe Aquatru Classic The main difference between them is that classic is bigger and has higher output while carafe has a glass container for filtered water. For some reason, the carafe model costs the same in the EU as the classic, while in the US it is 100$ cheaper, I assume because of it's smaller capacity. You also need to replace filters on carafe more often, because they also have lower capacity, so it should be more expensive in the long term. I am wondering how big of a deal it is to store your water in a plastic container and if using glass is worth 100$ extra plus lower volume?

@Nemra @Thought Art I just remember reading / watching some stuff about how multitasking is actually bad for productivity and your brain. ANd I think having one monitor works better for me.

@ted73104 unlike bitcoin, gold has value beyond people just agreeing on it having value. It's a rare metal that's used in all modern electronics, not to mention stuff like jewellery. -

@BlueOak if you value consciousness more than anything and war is psychopathic than this is the most conscious option. This is what Ukraine would do if it was a country of enlightened stage turquoise monks. -

@BlueOak Sorry if I was too harsh. Like I said, I get too emotional about it sometimes. I am not saying that you should go to war. So? Let him take it. Let whoever wants to fight - fight and whoever doesn't want to fight - not fight. Like I've said. Putin is not going to last forever. I don't mind it as long as it's a simple deal based on mutual consent. What I mind is other countries / people pushing Ukraine to keep fighting, pushing them to keep recruiting more soldiers, lowering conscription age, etc. All the while giving Ukraine just enough weapons and ability to fire them to keep dragging this war along, but not enough to ever finish it. Just look at what Biden administration is doing right now with trying to send extra weapons to Ukraine and allowing Ukraine to use long range missiles AFTER they lost the election. It just tells me that all those excuses about ww3, and nukes, and escalation are bullshit. Nobody is seriously afraid of this. They just enjoy how things are going right now.
