  1. Of course Neuroscience is going to deny free will, because they are studying the brain but you are not the brain. You are that which created the brain and you did that willingly
  2. Ok, but what has the human avatar to do with your decision making? If there is only God and you are God then who is making the decision?
  3. How can something else control your decision making if there is only you?
  4. @EternalForest You are still busy dissecting reality into two parts. The choice you are making is the consequence Crashing the car is as much part of reality as you are, as the stunt driver. So, why would God prioritize you (stunt driver) over the the crash (consequence)? You think that would be a good thing, but in reality that would make God ungodly. You think life would be exciting that way, but the opposite is the case. Life would be boring as hell. It's like a game where you can't die or loose. What would be the point of even playing that game. Dying, loosing, crashing etc. are consequences that you created in order to make life adventurous. Can't you see that?
  5. 25% Orange, 50% Green, 25% Yellow But I would consider myself a mystical person
  6. But what you don't get is, healthy is relative. You do have the free will to eat what you want. You just have to transcend the distinction between healthy/unhealthy and be content with the consequences. Nothing is constraining you to eat as much Dunkin Donuts as you want but your limited idea of what "healthy" means. If your idea of being healthy is a six pack, then donuts are not healthy because they don't allow you to have a six pack. Or having good condition, then sitting around the whole day is not healthy. That does not mean that sitting itself is unhealthy. It's unhealthy relative to your desire of wanting to have good condition
  7. It's you who is saying that negative health is negative. You are subscribing negativity on to those consequences. Being overweight, having diabetes or cancer is not absolutely negative. It is negative relative to how you want to be, which is not being overweight. Diabetes is not negative from God's "perspective". God loves diabetes You do choose the consequence. Dunkin Donuts is it's own consequence. If you choose Dunkin Donuts, you are choosing diabetes. You can not dissect the consequence. The consequences don't appear immediately and so to you it looks like it is out of your control and something that is happening to you If eating donuts made you a into a healthy greek god, then reality would be shitty. The reason you value health is because there is prospect of disease
  8. @tlowedajuicemayne We need a character limit on this forum. Don't want to sound like an a**hole, but please keep it concise
  9. Your life didn't change because you didn't change Saying Meditation doesn't work is like saying Being doesn't work. If Being doesn't work, then nothing works Meditation can't help you, because you are Meditation. You are trying to use yourself to help yourself. You thinking that you need help is exactly why it doesn't work. You are not seeking help, you are seeking yourself. You won't get yourself, if you are seeking help. Because help is a duality. Drop this "I need help" attitude and try it again
  10. My first response actually was a bit sarcastic. I don't spend my time on or off the internet bullying materialistic people. Although sometimes when I philosophize I get frustrated at how materialistic the current Zeitgeist is
  11. The same pay off they get when they ridicule Spirituality, Metaphysics, Mysticism, Religion, Shamanism, New Age and basically everything that doesn't fit into their narrow materialistic atheistic worldview
  12. Nothing wrong with bullying materialists a bit here and there in my opinion
  13. I mean less manly relative to how you are now, not less manly in a general sense. You said that you feel "more manly" and I just reversed that
  14. sheesh... find a subliminal audio that makes you less manly again But still the real you hasn't changed. This could actually be a good oppurtinity to realise that the self is an illusion
  15. Don't like this idea of going somewhere in order to be spiritual I see this with many SD green folk. They think they have to sign up for a spiritual retreat, travel to india, be part of a new age commune etc. in order to be spiritual. But that is the opposite of what Spirituality is. You are making a distinction between a retreat and your home, which is not very spiritual. Turn your place into a retreat, that would be my recommendation I mean if it was something like a dark room retreat, where you would need help from an outsider, alright. But with a normal meditation retreat, I don't see the point. Although probably still a cool experience
  16. Reality being infinte means it is one The reward is Selflessness/Heaven. But selfishness is the opposite. How can you be "rewarded" with Selflessness when you are busy being selfish? Like I said in my comment above, there are no devils in heaven Also when we are talking about "being selfless", we don't necessarily mean "acting selfless" in the world. You can act selfless in the world and not be selfless. When you sit down to meditate, that is >not< you being selfish. We have to distinguish these two. When I say selfless, I don't care much about how you behave in the world. Acting selfless in the world is a result of being selfless. Not the other way around. Just wanted to make that clear
  17. Selfishness is the "punishment". When you are selfish, you are not being truthful. Therefore existing "outside" of truth which then creates suffering. Suffering is a reminder that you are being stupid. The suffering is proportional to your degree of selfishness. But most people take on a victim role when they suffer, not understanding the suffering. They externalize the reason for their self created suffering which turns them even more into a victim. It is a vicious circle. They want to be selfish and get away with it, which of course is a fools approach to life. There are no devils in heaven. Heaven is a devil-free zone, reserved for angels only When you are extremely selfish, you are indirectly saying >no< to yourself as God. And God won't give it's full Love to you, when you say no to it. You will only get 0,01%
  18. Because in order to define something you need contrast. Without contrast you can not define anything. God is undefined because it is a singularity. Imagine if everything in reality was panited in white. You wouldn't be able to define white as white. Because what creates white is the contrast between white and something non-white
  19. I wouldn't mix substances
