I can across this line in the ‘Encyclopedia of Man, Myth, & Magic’ (1970) ”In magical theory good and evil ultimately do not exist at all. They are among the opposites which are aspects of a greater reality that unites and transcends them. “ This series of books takes a look at hundreds of mystical & historical occult traditions. Many descriptions pointing at Truth & Non Duality. It’s my addition to Leo’s booklist and I wanted to share!

Tribal groups react to a brief clip of a polar bear from BBC's Planet Earth. Notice the associations and questions that arise as they see beyond what is already known or knowable. I've been working on becoming more aware of this myself. The pursuit of Truth requires that we step outside of the automatic self-referential perceptions that are designed strictly for our own survival.

@OnceMore Insight Timer, and Headspace are great meditation apps for beginners. They offer both guided, semi-guided, and unguided meditations. Essentially what these apps provide is a timer and log to keep track of your meditation progress. Insight timer is free. Headspace is free with very limited content. Headspace offers a paid subscription that contains meditations on topics like motivation, focus, recovery, rehab, sleep, acceptance, and many more. You do not need either app to meditate. These apps helped me build a foundation in my meditation habit and are perfect for beginners. As you advance you will see them as basically a premium timer/stopwatch app.

@Leo Gura was correct in the fact that there is very little mentioned about stage CORAL in this book.
-
@HII The book indeed does mention Stage Coral. An example is on pg. 67. To quote the authors "the ninth (CORAL) will be a version of the RED third level." When discussing memory aids in recognizing the MEME colors the authors outline: 1. BEIGE (savanna grasslands) 2. PURPLE (the royal color of tribal chiefs and monarchs) 3. RED (hot blooded emotions and the 'fire in your eyes') 4. BLUE (the sky, the heavens, and the True (blue) believer) 5. ORANGE (radiating energy of steel in an industrial furnace) 6. GREEN (green politics, forests, and ecological consciousness) 7. YELLOW (solar power and alternative technologies) 8. TURQUOISE (the color of oceans and Earth as viewed from space) 9. CORAL (life within the deep seas) Keep in mind that is essential to understand the First Tier of the Spiral before moving onto the Second Tier and beyond (CORAL). An insight to understanding stage CORAL is that warm colors represent self / 'I' -oriented MEMEs and cool colors represent Sacrifice-self / 'we' -oriented MEMEs.

@Kallan If you're interested in the deeper implications of Spiral Dynamics (stage Coral, ect.) read Spiral Dynamics by Don Edward Beck & Christopher Cowan. You can find this book on Leo's Book List. In my opinion, a brief description of stage Coral won't be enough to grasp the profundity of this concept. This book is filled with awesome insights and is a must read for anyone who wishes to become a Spiral Wizard!
