  1. I once strongly supported the use of cannabis, particularly for managing chronic conditions. But a deeply personal experience changed my perspective forever. My girlfriend began using cannabis to manage debilitating migraines. At first, it seemed to help. But over time, she started showing signs of schizophrenia. Her reality began to shift—she believed I was conspiring with neighbors to murder her, bribing police, and even sleeping with investigators and DCF. These delusions escalated until she was contacting authorities multiple times a day and night, to the point where I was nearly arrested. It felt like the woman I loved had been taken from me. Loving someone with schizophrenia is heartbreaking. You must separate the illness from the person, but that’s hard when the illness causes such painful accusations and abuse. I stayed with her as long as I could, trying to help, but the stress and chaos were overwhelming. Worst of all, our young son was witnessing everything. I realized I had to make the hardest decision of my life—I left her to protect him and myself. Since then, she has started treatment. Her progress is up and down, but I still hold out hope for her healing. This experience forever changed how I view cannabis and mental health. I’ve learned that loving someone through illness takes incredible strength, but sometimes, love also means knowing when to let go.
  2. It's still much of a mystery to science. I had no idea how to react to it when she first started showing symptoms. Then she started hearing my voice when I wasn't speaking. She heard "me" say some horrible things and she was acting on it. I tried everything to prove that I wasn't saying anything. I duct taped my mouth, filmed myself. But nothing worked. It actually seemed to make it worse. The more I tried to prove myself, the more delusional she seemed to get. So I got out. Good luck to you and your family. This is nobody's fault. I hope you can heal and manage. @kavaris
  3. @Inliytened1 The statement "Trump was in for four years and WW3 didn't break out. It won't now." exemplifies the hasty generalization fallacy. The statement "The inflation rate is at an all-time high" is an example of the false statement fallacy or factual error, depending on intent. Are you trying to get attention or spread misinformation or...?
  4. We all still see each other regularly and he video chats her daily. Are you from Talinn? @Talinn
  5. Major political changes don’t happen because of one person. They come from many things, like voters, parties, media, and events. Blaming Biden alone doesn’t show the full picture. Remember, Dark Brandon came out of retirement at age 78 to save us from this creep the first time. But Trump’s reelection wasn’t the fault of one man, it was a systemic issue. Overcoming a mass delusion of that scale required more than an aging leader. The problem was the electorate’s lack of political awareness.
  6. Bombastic Buddha. What a riot.
  7. Thank you for your advice, kind words, and for sharing your experience. It's understandable to have that fear after what you've been through. You're right about alcohol too. Be safe, be happy, be healthy, in harmony with the world. @decentralized
  8. http://www.actualized.org/articles/every-ideology-splinters This is truly profound, and ironically, it’s the only post on the blog without the black-and-white Actualized.org plaque. The key is ensuring that pure truth-seeking doesn’t become its own kind of belief system, while also acknowledging the value ideologies hold for people at their current stage of development.
  9. Trump quite literally makes this up. Everything that comes out of his mouth is literally made up, delusional.
  10. "This string of consciousness" "What are facts? What are truths?" Remind you of anybody?
  11. I agree. It's mass delusion. But, people can have a short memory, and every candidate has shortcomings, so we'll see what happens.
  12. So much for Gavin Newsom's chances of being the Democratic front runner in the future. Thoughts?
  13. https://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show/maddowblog/appeals-court-rules-fox-must-face-smartmatics-defamation-lawsuit-rcna187123 Many fox viewers write these lawsuits off as just part of the "witch hunt" narrative against Trump. Why do they write it off? Primarily echo chambers, Identity, group loyalty, and lack of critical thinking. So how do we bridge the gap?
  14. Welcome to the 40 club! I turned 40 in September.
  15. This thread- "Thanks a lot Buck Edwards" @Buck Edwards
  16. Don't be mad because I can teach your teachings without beatings. 😆
  17. Let's just say that Actualized teachings is of greater p. Now, I'm beating a child and forcing him to learn Actualized right now. That now magically makes the teachings lower p? I think not. How do you know that the beatings aren't already happening for Actualized learnings? You can't know, so, therefore you can't know that the teachings are of higher p?? No. Knowing that children are being beaten to learn the teachings tarnishes the teachings appearance in the public eye, but it does not tarnish the teachings themselves. I see where you're coming from, but I also see the validity of the perspective written above. @Leo Gura
  18. The use of corporal punishment doesn't inherently lower the value of the teachings themselves because I could be teaching kids the same teachings without beatings. What I think you're getting at is indoctrinating kids into a religion without them being able to question it shows lower perspective but even that doesn't necessarily guarantee. There's some kind of fallacy going on here.
  19. But my point is that the higher perspective behind the war of the Allies didn't just stay quiet for fear of being wrong.
  20. Yes, but the higher perspective fought against sHitler and eventually won. If the higher had stayed quiet we would be speaking German right now.
  21. If the objective is to explore or work with the emotion this is true. If the objective is decision making or taking action, I personally wait for balance to return first.
  22. Imagine if the best influencers in history took the quieter approach and allowed the bombast of, say, Hitler and the babbling of this other guy to dominate the airwaves. Things would be different today. Props for using the word bombast, Leo. I do enjoy the jargon.
