  2. If Mr. Trump wins it's the democrat's fault? One would think that the people who vote for him and the politicians that cower to him would be more responsible if he wins.
  3. People normally go to the bar to get hammered.
  4. When we believe one sided, cherry-picked stories, we paint a distorted picture of the world for ourselves, and then when we try to live in the world, there are significant blind spots in our vision, causing dysfunction. Why do we do this?
  5. Purple Panda's Poison Dart Frog Pizza
  6. Here's an image that definitely wasn't generated by AI, lol.
  7. @ryandesreu The Perfect Pizza Pad!
  8. My cat died so I'm bringing it in to my work's pizza party! (I like my meat still meowing at me.)
  9. @Clarence I had that same idea but with cactus and camel meat toppings and the pizza is in the shape of a camel. Good call man. 👍
  10. Put that in a modern art museum!
  11. I like the idea of not labeling topics as right-wing or left-wing and seeing each topic independently. I think that seeing each topic independently without labeling could also be helpful in other domains, e.g., spirituality and philosophy. Almost every person who I have talked with about politics has not fit into a box of left or right. I think that the media mostly feeds this left right box. "Liberal minds are more open and conservative minds are more closed.""It doesn't matter what you're closedminded about, the issue is that you're closedminded and that you could be openminded instead and vice versa. "
  12. I don't know of qualia coming from anywhere. Consciousness is intelligence you're saying?
  13. How is consciousness defined here? I'm tempted to say that the idea of consciousness is just that, an idea, and that consciousness is qualia. If I go straight to It what is there? Qualia.
  14. I downloaded this image and added it to my collection of art. The image itself and style reminds me of this picture from my collection.
  15. Lol, true comedy, but that aside, great thread. Rain Man type characters are quite interesting.
  16. @Atb210201 How do we know that contradicting statements must be false?
  17. It has been done on this forum at great length, and I too used to wonder why Leo doesn't trash the other side much. Then I really thought about it with integrity and I think I got it, and if you really think about it with integrity you might get it.
  18. I see what you are saying. Politics is fallacious and polarizing at this stage. If only more of us could practice a more conscious form of politics.
  19. Lol. You are full of shit but don't take credit for it. It is your gift from God and grounded in genetics. 😉
  20. Listening to music has improved my mood in the morning.
  21. Agreed, but then again people have lived their lives in a Hitleresque manner and then reformed themselves.
  22. Studying circadian rhythm is helpful to understand sleep. Also, having a sleep study done on you if you struggle with sleep can help. I'm up at 6:50 every morning. I splash my face with cold water, eat breakfast, and do light stretching, core exercises, and walking in the morning sun. I take a warm shower before bedtime at 9pm. I eat no food after 5 pm, and no bright light or screen time after 8 pm, but it should probably be 7.
  23. Compile any or all of the following: 1. A highlight reel of your candidate speaking specifically about his campaign promises and what he plans to do if elected. 2. A complete list of your candidates' successful and failed campaign promises in the past. 3. Any other significant facts about your candidate (no rumors or allegations). The goal is to steelman your candidate's position without posting trash on the other candidates.
