@softlyblossoming Yes. Get rid of any negative judgments about staying up late. If this is the current belief you hold, it will continue to be your experience until a different belief becomes more dominant. This is an excellent goal to have! Continue to seek joy in as many things as you can. Do you like you? I can only share my personal experience. Suppressing or resisting negative emotions didn't work for me. I could get temporary relief, but they would keep bubbling up. Feeling, releasing and letting go of judgment is what gave me lasting relief. It depends. When you are denying, are having a negative judgment about it? Or are you allowing it to be what it is? The goal is to get to place of neutrality. If you feel you need to have benevolent thoughts about something, you are still saying there is something wrong with it as it is. You're welcome! -

@softlyblossoming I always stay up too late and never go to bed at a regular time. There may not be any limiting belief's associated with this, it may just be your preference. Only you would know. Now, if you have thoughts like "I shouldn't be staying up late" or "I should be waking up early every day" you could be creating limitations around this behavior. It's not the behavior itself, it's the thoughts you hold about the behavior that matter. I don't pursue higher education and I work for barely above minimum wage. What are your belief's about higher education? Perhaps it isn't necessary for your goals. Why do you work for barely above minimum wage? Do you feel this is all you are capable of receiving? I spend almost all of my free time trying to expend the minimum effort possible to become enlightened as soon as possible, but without using psychedelics to do it (illegal) by listening to, taking notes of and conversing with enlightenment teachers. Once again there aren't necessarily any limiting belief's in this action. Why does becoming enlightened have to be hard work? My current spiritual practice is to deny the automatic labelling/believing of any sensations as anything but the one quality I wish to see everywhere I look and to embody through-and-through — "happily befriending" — hence, I do not allow any sensations of suffering to arise by immediately denying their reality as anything but the adorable ever-deepening happy friendship between us; and then, when the Self does anything (aka happily befriend itself non-stop), to ask myself "who is observing happily befriending?" and happily befriend how it is that I know that "I am"; in other-words, to happily befriend the knowing of how it is that I know that I am observing happily befriending. I do this whenever I remember, ideally around the clock. I try to use the minimal effort I can so that I never stop practicing due to burn-out. I would suggest you try not denying. When you are denying, you are resisting. Allow it to be what it is. Let go of your fear to feel any suffering or negative emotions. Try to release any judgments you have about what you are observing. By doing this you will eventually be able to observe with more neutrality rather than denying or suppressing their existence. Another suggestion that will help you identify your belief's is to write out your most ideal life. If you could have your most ideal life in all aspects, what would that look like? Once you do that, ask yourself. Do I feel this is possible for me? If not, why? This will show you the belief's you currently hold about what is possible for you. -
@Gabith The ability to focus your mind and thoughts. This is key. Mindfulness practices help greatly with this. Keep a gratitude journal and write in as much as you can. Be aware of what you let pull your attention. Self-love has to be cultivated. Start by focusing on things that are easy to love about yourself and the world. The more you practice it, the more it will expand until it becomes your natural state.

@Gianna You're welcome! Thank you for creating these posts. If everyone spent time everyday focusing on what they love and appreciate about life and people their life and our would transform. -

@softlyblossoming One useful way to identify them is to look at your life. What we most strongly believe, assume and expect will be reflected in our life. Yes, this works. By not giving them energy they will naturally dissipate. You still need to adopt the new belief's and state though to experience them. -
Matthew85 replied to Inliytened1's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@softlyblossoming You don't need to find them all. Just align your current thoughts, belief's and state with what you desire to experience. Keep doing that until it becomes dominant and you will see your reality begin to change to reflect it. -

@softlyblossoming Yes. I highly recommend closely examining and changing the limiting beliefs you have accepted as truth about yourself, others and the world. I have transformed so many aspects of my life by doing this. We are continually molding and shaping our waking dream experience we call our life, but most of us are not doing it consciously and deliberately. -
@Julian gabriel To me higher mind is your broader perspective or God self. Sometimes people refer to this aspect as the unconscious because it is beyond our waking conscious mind.
-
@Julian gabriel I think one reason we create art is to offer a way for the higher mind to communicate with us.

@softlyblossoming Hi, thank you! Not so much Karma. Your conditioning and habitual ways of thinking, yes. This has a powerful impact on your experience of life. No, I wouldn't agree with this. My perspective on desires is very different than many others in non duality communities. You don't want to be in desireless state. What you want is to is align your belief's with your desires. If you have desires that you don't believe you can have, this creates suffering. The solution isn't to get rid of the desires, it's to change your limiting belief's that block you from experiencing them. -

It's funny Leo. When I think about it I don't personally feel an attachment to it one way or the other. I am just speculating from my pre birth memories and OBE's I have had, that this is the dream my higher mind is orchestrating for me to explore now. I appreciate you sharing your insights! -
Matthew85 replied to machiavelli's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Leo Gura Thank you! I get it. It can be a little confusing since we have higher mind imagination and ego personality imagination. Since my higher mind was imagining people living on earth prior to my "birth" when I "die" and move to the next level of my dream, more than likely, I will imagine that life on earth will continue. -

Music! I love the way music can instantly shift my mood. Music is a universal language that speaks to our heart and soul and unites people in a very unique way. -

@Holygrail Interesting question. Are our brains bound by the laws of physics? -
Matthew85 replied to machiavelli's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Leo Gura @machiavelli Isn't it obvious to you that before you were born no humans existed? And after you die none will exist? Leo, I have heard you reference this before. Are you saying that before the creation of our ego personality self earth wasn't already being imagined? I have clear memories of observing earth, my mother and choosing her to be my parent for this life prior to being born. Is your opinion these pre birth memories are just another aspect of our infinite imagination? You're not saying with the death of a personality self earth disappears for all the other personalities right? -

@Tyler Durden Not always what you truly want, but what your dominant belief's, assumption's and expectations will show you. -

True Do you feel you have more mastery over what shows up in your reality now than in the "past". -

Thank you! Yes, I am aware of that. Can you share how this insight has changed your day to day experience of life? -
Perhaps you should view this as a gift. Too often people are looking to others for the answers, rather than doing the work to discover them for yourself.

Yes, I designed the game. That is what I am referring to. -

Me too. This dream is masterfully designed to continually lull us back to sleep. -
@Julian gabriel It's a tricky thing when you start asking the why of things. It is simply for the joy of creating.
