Matthew85 replied to Mips's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Mips I would caution against thinking of her not being real until you validate that for yourself through direct experience. In the most expanded states of awareness I have reached it was my experience that everything in the universe is consciousness/awareness. -

@RMQualtrough It's like you were able to gain an exterior perspective of yourself and other aspects you were creating simultaneously, while maintaining the awareness it was all you. -

@Forza21 What an amazing experience. Exploring consciousness and reality in this way certainly reveals some very interesting aspects of the infinite nature of consciousness that may not be revealed in solo trips. -

@Terell Kirby Have you ever taken psychedelics with a partner or a group? -
It's interesting that you are able to feel it when you are alone. What thoughts come up when you think of expressing it in the world or to someone?

@Spence94 There have been occasions where a sexy confident woman pursued me and it was a turn on, but most of the time I don't particularly like it. I enjoy doing the pursuing.
-
@Vivaldo As a general rule most women prefer to be pursued. They will flirt and let you know they are interested, but they will expect you take it from there. Another part of what you are experiencing has to do with maturity level. Some older women have no problem pursuing a guy they are interested in. Be careful what you wish for though, I have often been pursued by women and it isn't always as enjoyable as you imagine it might be.

Have you started or increased any spiritual practices recently? -
Matthew85 replied to Abel's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Abel Thank you! Me too. I have had an insatiable curiosity to understand truth, reality and consciousness since I was very young. I don't want to delude myself though with adopting new false beliefs that could be based on a delusion or distorted perception of mine. I have been shown this as well. I often set intentions for insights before sleep and will receive them in dreams. The analogy of a game has been shown to me many times. I have this awareness too. I sometimes wonder why we imagine these long chains of causation to explain our insights or current experience? We could just as easily imagine a much more direct route. Maybe it's part of the game. If we are making it all up, what do we use as a barometer then to measure truth against? Are you saying there is no ultimate truth or all truths are true? -
Matthew85 replied to Bufo Alvarius's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
During my deepest awakenings exploring God I realized it is beyond all human concepts and all physics. It had multi dimensional and holographic qualities to it. It can create infinite unique replications of itself and every replication will contain every other replication and the entire universe within it. Exploring God you run into paradoxes like, how can something be an infinite many and one simultaneously? I think this is where some of the solipsism confusion comes in. If every one of us expands our consciousness far enough, it will feel like you are the only conscious being in existence and all other beings are within you, but this will be true for all infinite replications. I don't think our limited human minds can ever fully grasp what God is, we will only have a partial understanding while we are perceiving through our human minds. -
Matthew85 replied to Seeker_of_truth's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
This no self topic would be a good subject for an upcoming video. Many people seem to be confused about it. The awareness that is you that is perceiving will always be present. It can contract or expand depending on your state, but it always exists. -
Matthew85 replied to Abel's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Abel Thank you for sharing this! Really enjoyed reading it. I have had many of the same insights. Have you ever found yourself questioning any of your insights while on psychedelics later on? -
Matthew85 replied to Null Simplex's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
This has been my experience as well. The sense of self expands and expands until it is all things. Thank you for sharing your experience. Much of it was very similar to some of my own. I didn't view others as not real though. I perceived them to be myself and made of consciousness as I am. Everything is made of consciousness because there is nothing else that exists. -

This is great to hear Leo. Many are missing the ability to see and experience God in their desires. They end up adopting a lot of strange beliefs that cause unnecessary conflict and suffering within themselves. -
Matthew85 replied to mojsterr's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@mojsterr I would suggest you be very careful what belief's about Karma you adopt as truth. There are many distorted ideas around Karma that religions and spiritual groups disseminate. This isn't correct based on the expanded states and OBE's I have experienced. The vast majority of people upon what we call physical death will find themselves at the same level of consciousness or slightly more expanded. Most will have to "die" many more times before they expand to the state of all that is or the God head. The essence that is you is always you. Even when you expand your awareness to the level of God, the awareness that is you is still there. You don't lose yourself in an ocean, who you are only becomes more. You become the entire ocean, to use your metaphor. Once again, be careful what belief's you adopt. You can certainly create all kinds of Karmic wheels or loops of reincarnation for yourself, but it is you who are creating them. I recommend you awaken deeper. When you do, you will take back your sovereignty and stop giving your power away to something outside of you. -
Matthew85 replied to Leilani's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@BenG I have known people like this too. I think there are many factors involved. I can have very profound insights with very low doses of psychedelics. Where friends of mine can take higher doses and have interesting trips but nothing profound happens. They don't have a deep passionate desire to understand truth and reality the way I do though. Even as a small child I was contemplating very deep questions that most kids are not asking. -

Yes. This is why when you give you receive. -
Matthew85 replied to Matthew85's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Twentyfirst It doesn't make any difference. Lets say someone had an NDE. They found themselves outside of their body, then they travelled into another reality where they encountered beings, nature, cities, etc. All of those realties they are experiencing are instantly created on the spot by you as God and then perceived. Every stage of the experience is instantly imagined. Leo's perspective is reality is 100% direct and only what you are perceiving now exists. I haven't validated this for myself yet, so I am not sure. I am open to the possibility that God could be creating multiple realities simultaneously, and focusing in on one as a finite personality, while the other realities continue to exist. God is infinite, so I don't see why this couldn't be a possibility. How reality is being imagined and constructed is fascinating though. -
Quantum physics talk about an infinite field. The Matrix films depicted it as code. If we could somehow have a visual representation of base reality, what do you think it would look like? Maybe true base reality has no visual aspect.

I admire his courage and vulnerability to share such a deeply personal journey so publicly.

Matthew85 replied to Leilani's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
True. They can be a very useful tool, but it isn't wise to view them as a panacea for awakening or enlightenment. -
@The Buddha More and more as my awareness has expanded, these are my experiences as well.
-
Matthew85 replied to Matthew85's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Twentyfirst His perspective is whatever reality you are perceiving is the only reality that exists. It's 100% direct. -
Leo, have you explored ways to circumvent these long chains of causation we imagine to explain our current experience? There could potentially be an even more direct route. I have been experimenting with deliberately adopting different states. It has provided some interesting results. Every state seems to have inherent beliefs and corresponding experiences. It's fun to play with.

Very true. The more I shed my biases and judgments, the more I was able to feel deep love for everything. If people realized how much their perception of reality was being distorted, they would work hard to correct it.
