Very true. Tripping with a partner offers a lot of potential to provide many new insights that solo trips don't don't. I hope you continue to explore this and share your discoveries.

I was able to reach a profound God state today by combining chanting with a flotation tank. This was the first time I experimented with this. I chanted for about 90 minutes and spent another 30 minutes or so just contemplating and receiving insights. At a certain point my chanting became out of synch with the movements of my mouth and I realized that the chanting was just something I was imagining. I never actually talk or chant, it's all happening in my mind. I received a few other insights as well. So, if any of you have access to a flotation tank, you may want to experiment and see what happens for you. -
@Vynce Very interesting report. Thank you Vynce! Did Jordan share any of his insights from the trip with you later?

My health problems. Basically every problem in my life and every problem in the world. Especially all the political problems. @Leo Gura Having the insight that everything is perfect, how do we not fall into a passive state of just excepting things the way they are. It seems you could lose any motivation to improve something. For example, even though you saw how your health problems were perfect, you still want to improve them. Can you elaborate on one of the problems you were able to see the perfection of. How was it perfect even though it didn't seem that way from your normal state of consciousness? This would be very helpful. -

@blackchair Interesting. It sounds like your desire to not want to see the suffering manifested as vision problems. -

my problems with my eyes. @blackchair Can you expand on this? How is the problems with your eyes perfect? -

Sometimes I wonder if there is a part of us as God that must enjoy or want to be lost in the dream. Otherwise, why would we imagine so many influences that keep us away from truth and asleep. -
Will this be on YouTube or your blog?

@Leo Gura Excellent point that is missing from their teachings. This reminds me of a dream I had a few years ago. I often receive profound messages in my dreams. I was in this house when a woman appeared. She was tall, slender with long white hair and ice blue Asian shaped eyes. She said I want to show you something and walked out onto the balcony, so I followed. She said look. I looked out and saw an incredible view of mountains, tree's, flowers and waterfalls. A truly majestic beautiful landscape. As I was viewing it, she pointed to my head and said you think you are in here, when you are everything you are observing. It was a very profound insight that was being communicated. -

@Ima Freeman Be very discerning in adopting beliefs of others. There are many well meaning teachers and gurus offering truths mixed with very distorted information. Cultivate your own intuition and critical thinking skills and give much less authority to people outside of yourself. -
@Jan Trautwein Hello Jan, welcome to the forum. I feel you raise a valid point in your post. We all have blind spots. This is why an exterior viewpoint can be beneficial to us. The language people use is very revealing in pointing out limiting beliefs we may hold, that often we are not even consciously aware of. Leo is evolving and expanding as all of us are.

@Leo Gura Can you share in more detail on one of these how it was actually perfect even though from Leo's perspective it didn't feel that way? -

@Dear Fiona Thank you for sharing this. I can definitely relate to your experience. One of the greatest gifts of awakening is the ability to see the depth and beauty of life and people that we were overlooking before. -

@Dear Fiona I hear the point you are making. Suffering is a tricky subject. Many say suffering is necessary for growth. I feel it is one way, but not the only way. An infinite mind can imagine anything, any type of world. It could just as easily imagine worlds without extreme suffering. I feel these worlds exist. I have visited some of them during OBE's. The extreme suffering on earth is just one way of experiencing, not the only way. -

@Leo Gura Can you share an example of something that as Leo you viewed as corrupt or unjust. Something you felt should not be the way it is, but when you viewed it from a very expanded state you were able to see the perfection of it? -

@Godishere Be careful adopting peoples beliefs about Gods will. Your will and desires as Godishere is part of Gods will. Your desires add to the wonderful diversity of the universe. -

@Leo Gura Can you share more on your personal process of how you circumvent the inherently self deceptive nature of the mind to validate insights you have? For example, when you first had the insight you were the only conscious being in existence, what was your process for validating the truth of this insight? What is your understanding and explanation of the very paradoxical nature of such an insight? -
Matthew85 replied to Matthew85's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@gettoefl I do this all the time. The only delusion and self deception I am interested in is my own. -

@amanen In my most expanded states I have never felt loneliness either. Perhaps when people feel loneliness it is their ego mind filtering and trying to interpret their experience. -

@BenG Many. On a personal level I have friends who's lives did a 180 for the better after the healing and insights they received from ayahuasca ceremonies. I also know someone who's life completely unraveled after they got deep into LSD. One of the barometers I use is to look at the their life or the fruits of what they are doing. -

The more I awaken, the more I feel these types of things are just permission slips as Bashar calls them. It's just an added step in the chain of causation to explain an experience or change. Whether it's waving hands crystals or whatever. What does the healing is the conviction of your belief and intention, not the waving hands. -
I recently attended an event on enlightenment. It became evident to me that one of the speakers who claimed to be awakened had fallen into the trap of thinking their ego mind was all that existed. While in a sense when our ego personality makes the statement I am God, this is a true statement, because everything is God. But to think that the ego mind is the totality of God and everything in reality is only a projection held in the ego mind feels distorted and incomplete to me. For those of you who have awakened deep enough to realize you are God, I would love to hear your thoughts on this. Thank you!
