Matthew85 replied to Questioner's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@The Mystical Man I would agree. During lucid dreams when I begin asking several probing questions of dream characters they become nonsensical in their answers. -
Matthew85 replied to Questioner's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@The Mystical Man I agree. However, my questioning of dream characters during lucid dreams and other experiences I have had during OBE's makes me think there is a difference in dream characters and people in waking reality. If you are able to lucid dream try questioning people in your dreams and see what it reveals for you. -

@JuliusCaesar True. A deeper understanding of the different levels of imagination and dreaming would be helpful. Perhaps he has said all he knows on the subject. -

@Inliytened1 I agree, it is excellent. His understanding of the nature of reality has greatly expanded since that episode was recorded. -
Matthew85 replied to Questioner's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Inliytened1 That may be but I haven't verified that to be the truth yet. Consciousness divides itself into layers so I feel we need to explore and distinguish the difference between finite mind and imagination and the other levels of mind and imagination. -

@Godishere I haven't reached a definitive answer for myself yet. It doesn't feel right to me to believe sleeping dream characters and people in waking reality are the same. My own insights and experiences seems to reveal there is a difference. Given the infinite holographic nature of consciousness I lean toward waking reality being God interacting with other conscious aspects of itself. -

@Leo Gura An updated episode of Life is a Dream would be very helpful. Rupert Spira says our nightly dreams are the creation of only our finite mind, where our waking reality is a shared dream and creation of many sub minds of the Absolute. I am not saying he is correct, just sharing his viewpoint. In my own exploration of this I find evidence of both, so I am not sure. For example Leo as we discussed during my OBE's where I was shown the affects of all actions positive and negative on others and how they ripple out. I wasn't shown the affects of my actions on nightly dream characters, only my actions in waking reality. Why would my higher mind give me lesson of the affects of my actions on people if there were no conscious beings to be affected? I speculate from this that there is a difference between people in our nightly dreams while sleeping and waking reality. What do you guys think? Is waking reality a shared dream of many sub minds of God or only your personal dream? -

@Carl-Richard I like your circle analogy. What do you feel is the larger dream that my personal waking and sleeping dreams are occurring within? What is dreaming the larger dream? -
Matthew85 replied to Dodo's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Carl-Richard Is it your perspective that what we call our waking reality is a shared or larger dream than our nightly dreams while sleeping? -

“It is one great dream dreamed by a single Being, but in such a way that all the dream characters dream too.” ― Arthur Schopenhauer Interesting quote from the German philosopher. Can dream characters dream too? Something I will have to contemplate. -
@Leo Gura Looking forward to a new episode that begins with "I have reached a new level of awakening" followed by profound insights.

@Galyna Thank you for sharing your perspective! You brought up an interesting point about time. During expanded states of awareness I have become conscious of other aspects of my higher mind that are having experiences that I normally have no awareness of. This led to me contemplating maybe consciousness is exploring multiple simultaneous points of view, not just one. But in our limited state of awareness we are not able to perceive them. Leo hasn't experienced this during his expanded states though. He doesn't feel consciousness is exploring simultaneous points of view. I haven't reached a definitive answer yet. Exploring one point of view at a time does seems awfully inefficient for an unlimited infinite mind though. -
Matthew85 replied to KoryKat's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Razard86 Thank you for the message. I have repeatedly awakened to everything you discussed. What I wanted Leo to expand on is the concept of infinite mind having only one point of view. He seems to be saying that my field of perception is all that exists. Even my own awakenings are pointing to this. This seems like an incredibly inefficient method for an unlimited infinite mind to explore itself. Why would I limit myself to a singular field of perception when I don't need to? Also, in the past Leo has said everything is conscious, but more recently he says the only conscious thing is you. If I am everything than everything would have to be conscious, but I feel Leo is stating something different here. I would like him to clarify and expand on this. -

@Leo Gura Will you expand on this on the forum or upcoming episodes? Your more recent awakenings have obviously evolved your perspective on this from past videos when you talked about other beings and trillions of conscious probes. Thank you! -
@Someone here If your desire to know is strong enough and you are willing to put in the disciplined work, you can learn to project your consciousness out of your body. Then you won't have to speculate about what happens when we die, you will know. Awakening and death are two completely different things.

Matthew85 replied to thisintegrated's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@thisintegrated If you could, it would be an excellent catalyst for your own awakening. Challenging to find though. Most who have achieved that state have no interest in being known, so you won't find them on YouTube. I received some very powerful transmission's during my trips to India from beings who were in very awakened states. But once again they have no interest in being famous or having a following so it's not easy to find them. -
Matthew85 replied to thisintegrated's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@thisintegrated I would make that a regular practice for yourself. I have been having some very profound insights recently during my flotation tank meditations. Often I am just focusing on the thought that I am God while I meditate. -
Matthew85 replied to thisintegrated's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@thisintegrated Yes, this is a very real phenomena I have experienced in different ways. One of the most profound examples was attending David Hawkins workshops. My theory is when we place our attention on someone or something you are aligning with that energy and state. A type of co resonance begins to occur. This can certainly occur with watching video recordings. Even reading writings from highly awakened individuals can have this affect. This is also the theory behind shaktipat. -

@Leo Gura I had a dream last night pointing me to the truth of this. I was a film director making a film that was my life. I cast myself as a character in my film, but once I was immersed in my character, I forgot it was a film and that I was creating it. I was completely absorbed in it and thought it was real. -
Matthew85 replied to StarStruck's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
You are the scriptwriter. But you are such a masterful creator you are completely bought into the narrative of the story you are spinning. You then spin new ongoing plotlines based on the character in your script you think is you. -
@Leo Gura Thank you! Will you consider sharing more on the paradox of this in upcoming episodes? It seems we are all somehow sovereign Gods spinning up our own universes. We appear to be interacting in a shared dream, but maybe that is an illusion. I feel you would say it's only my dream.

Matthew85 replied to bambi's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@RMQualtrough Yes, he did. He told me his family doesn't exist when he isn't interacting with them. He has seen how his mind instantly constructs them every time he is with them. It's a mindfck for sure. He reached these insights with many many 5-Meo trips and deep contemplation and meditation. -
Matthew85 replied to bambi's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@RMQualtrough Your perspective is more in line with what I use to think was going on. For example, let's say you are texting emailing back and forth with a girlfriend. You are saying she is a conscious fragment of the same higher mind as you. But what my friends awakenings have shown him is you are actually constructing all the conversations and responses from her in your mind. You are creating all of it. -
Matthew85 replied to bambi's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@RMQualtrough That certainly is the way it appears but there could something much more profound going on. My friend who has been exploring reality with 5-Meo works in marketing. In one of his awakenings he clearly saw how he was inventing all of the his client's and there customers responses to his marketing campaign. It was all a creation of his mind. -
@Leo Gura Since God is exploring being rocks, ants, tree's etc. Wouldn't there have to be awareness everywhere God is?
