  1. Truth may not be an equation, but it certainly is part of the equation.
  2. This was a exceptionally good video indeed. I was a bit sceptic of the broad topic itself first, due to how a potential problem can be painted and framed from person to person perspective. But this was a very based, grounded and overall good universal take on our modern problems and future dilemmas. Thanks for the recommendation!
  3. It's possible that your body picked up on subtle vibrations or other sensations that triggered the thought pattern into such a thought before you experienced the earthquake. Just as wild animals can sense tsunamis etc, and get a chance to flee before it hits hard.
  4. Yes, life is necessary for you to find a answear to your question.. ;-)
  5. The name is the game. So don't hate the players.
  6. Ok bye, I call you soon! You can hang up the phone now No you hang up first! No you hang up! No, I want you to hang up first ... Hello? Are you stil there? Yes I'm here But I told you to hang up! No I hang up when you hang up! OMG just hang up the phone!
  7. While I'm not in totall disagrement with your insight in general here. I would like to suggest that duality is creation of relationship. One object in empty space would lack, size, depth, lenghts, speed, time. Even the notion of one object, is reliant of our understanding of two or more. Conflict arise, in the mind alone. If you are heading out a rainy day, you bring your umbrella with you as long as your preference are to stay dry. If you forget your umbrella and become wet out there, then you either comply or argue with the situation. Our sense of conflict tend to arise when our preferences are at stake. Wheter that is a reality we are faced with directly or not. It's always filtered through the mind.
  8. Quite a double bind there don't you think?
  9. Awesome man, good luck out there!^^
  10. If thoughts is a process. Then it stil takes thoughts to appear, before we can lable and think of them as a process. So we can't lable the thoughts as a process prior to the thoughts happening. This process have to be a thought. Just as this conclution that was just made, is a thought. We can talk about what we thought about in the past. But you can't speak of a thought process that will happen tomorrow. We can be confident to assume that thought processes will occur in a expected tomorrow showing up and presenting itself as today.
  11. First ask them: What would be an interesting question to ask to random people in the city? Once they have answered the first question, then proceed to ask them their own question.
  12. I would have to assume that there is a source before there is a "What" that makes it. When there is thought. I either recognize that there is thought, or not. They come and they go, so to speak.
  13. I think part of what may puzzle older generations, is the fact that kids that grows up in a modern part of the world today no longer have the luxury of full privacy that older generation could take granted back then. What comes to mind is not really the public cameras that are increasing. But that basically every person have the ability to film and take pictures with their phones today, and any risk of embarrassment or public ridicule is at risk to spread like wildfire amongst friends and classmates in schools today. An adult can argue that: " So what? What's the big deal if you do something embarrassing, I did many embarrassing things at your age?" The difference is that your embarrassment that may have been watched by a few people, and could be used as rumors about you. Has today the risk factor of being immortalized and shared across the whole globe even. If it is "cringeworthy" enough to be a viral thing. What I want to say is, that I fully believe that kids today becomes hyper self aware of themselfs, with the risk of getting any wrongdoing captured and imortalized on video. Filming and photos can be a bully tool that wasn't available for older generation to be shamed by. And even if many forget, kids will always be more sensitive in general when it comes to embarrassment and public shaming it has always been a big deal. And even more so now.
  14. To be present. To be present to your surrounding environment.
  15. Yes, and not only gen z. Imagine your unborn grandchildren if you will. There is no sign ahead that future generations will have any fair chance in the economic race by working a regular job. (speaking of the majority of people)
  16. Interesting stuff. It does sound like you have overcome a big and very common mind flaw (causality). Since mental concept of causality can be a very tiring mental gymnastic act to be stuck in. How ever, I'm quite curious how your relation to manifestation is now, compared to before. And any change in perspective on prior desire maybe?
  17. Social media is probably only the top of the iceberg when it comes to mental illness. A modern society typically aim for efficency in terms of material goods. And for the matertial goods to have a value and usability, there needs to be living people buying what is produced inorder to keep up the rising production and material wealth going up. For the most ambitious and money hungry individuals, the humans themselves are merely a by-product that needs to be kept alive and fostered into finding meaning in the products, prior to finding value in eachother. In this way, big companys can speed up the efficency and steadiness of production by selling your human value back to you as long as you can afford it. Every youth have an increasing price to pay, because they where born to late to keep up with the curent competition.
  18. This is the thing.. If you claim that there is no point in life. Then there will inevitably be a point, in the "no point" claim. It becomes ciruclar reasoning if you try to use the exact same word inorder to separate the word from it's inherent meaning.
  19. That takes some spiritual balls to do, for sure!
  20. What is the difference between nothing and infinity? Infinity is nothing with a twist to it.
  21. The point of life , is to question if there is any point to be found. Once you have pointed out the point or the pointlessness of life, then you got the point. The only problem with finding out the pointlessness of life, is that it always has a point. To describe something as pointless, can only serve those who search for a point.
