@Shin He talked about the void that you can experience, but the fact that you experience it means it’s something and not nothing. Nothing is separate from god, nothing is deeper than god, so the only thing separate from god is nothingness, which you can realize and it’s the deepest realization because “nothing is deeper than god.” I feel like you’ll never comprehend what I’m saying though, and just keep thinking about empty space or blackness that you can experience. You guys even said yourselves without realizing it, nothing can be deeper than god. That’s right, so true nothingness is it. -

@OneHandClap You’re the only one that understands what I mean whether intellectual or through realization. They keep smarting off even though it goes over their heads, that we’re not just talking about empty space, or infinity, but true nothingness which the mind can’t comprehend. It’s funny how they even say themselves there is NOTHING outside of god, without realizing it because they keep thinking about emptiness. And it’s funny that people get kicked for disagreeing with the main teaching, and then get so upset when people call it a cult. That’s literally as controlling as a cult can get. Imagine if it was a real life commune, imagine people getting verbally abused and ran out of the commune, or even getting executed if their were no laws. If we get kicked that just gives more evidence the place runs like a cult. -

@Shin I repeated them so many times. That nothingness is nothingness and The only thing separate from god or reality is nothingness, and if you think it’s not possible you either haven’t realized true nothingness, or you don’t understand the meaning and think it just means empty space. Or a void form of god. No, god and reality both exist, so they are not part of nonexistence. And for the people saying they are two sides of the same coin, no they are not. Nothingness is nothingness and it doesn’t exist. Anything else is a thing that’s part of existence, even infinity. There can literally be NOTHING outside of infinity because it goes on and on forever, so the only thing that can be is NOTHING. Not empty space, because that would mean reality ends. No, absolutely nothing. -

In almost all of these responses people made no effort to understand my points and address them, while I address their points. And then they start preaching an experience that’s inconsistent is true. That’s more closed mindedness on their part. -

@Gregory1 If you believe anything without doubt that makes it seem true, but that doesn’t mean it is true. You don’t know if it’s true. Someone could have a cheating partner and have no doubt they’re faithful. -

@Judy2 You just told me I’m god imagining this but now you agree I’m not the main character? Then you guys agree with me that we can’t confirm to ourselves or each other that we’re god, without psychedelics which is a known confirmation bias? -
johnlocke18 replied to johnlocke18's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Shin You guys are the ones arguing that we are god, or the main character dreaming this. So you agree with me now that we don’t know we’re god? Because we can’t prove it to ourselves or each other? And if I’m just an ego then that means I’m not god lmao wtf you make no sense. -
johnlocke18 replied to johnlocke18's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Shin Me: No you can’t be nothing. Nothingness is nothingness You: don’t you see how dumb that statement is? Nothingness wouldn’t be nothingness if you were nothing! You can’t be nothing. But god is everything (a thing) which nothing is apart of! Do you see the irony? You’re arguing against stuff I didn’t even say while what I actually say goes over your head. -

@Judy2 Me having to tell you this reality is more consistent is pretty ridiculous. It’s like you need talked into common sense and probably why people mock this stuff. Not to mention the mob mentality. No one disagrees with each other, over something subjective. -
johnlocke18 replied to johnlocke18's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Judy2 I explained that this reality is more consistent than psychedelics, so there’s no point in calling it a dream. If it was a dream by definition there wouldn’t be powerlessness. -
johnlocke18 replied to johnlocke18's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Judy2 We could argue this forever but there’s more evidence for both of us that we aren’t imagining this. Otherwise there would be no argument, because I could just imagine you away or vice versa. And like I said, if it’s just ego wanting to then that makes me the ego, meaning I’m not god. -
johnlocke18 replied to johnlocke18's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Judy2 That’s why I said I’ll imagine he’s proving it to me. Well I’m waiting for it to happen? How about you? Lol if you or I was god and controlling everything we wouldn’t be talking. You wouldn’t need to argue it. Because no one knows. And you can’t just say it’s the ego talking because the ego would be god too, meaning it could do so. Psychedelics are just a confirmation bias, otherwise it would be consistent sober. -
johnlocke18 replied to johnlocke18's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Shin He should. Lol Ik you’re joking but no you can’t be nothingness, otherwise it wouldn’t be nothingness. If nothingness was part of god that would make it a thing. -
johnlocke18 replied to johnlocke18's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Gregory1 Yeah you believe that lmao here I’ll imagine that you can prove it to me. Go ahead. But no, nothingness isn’t apart of god because that would make it a thing. You’re not understanding nothingness. -
johnlocke18 replied to johnlocke18's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Leo Gura Now, you can turn around and say I’m just assuming this world is real, but I’m not assuming it’s the most consistent so I have less of a reason to put importance on the psychedelic experiences, regardless if they become significant after death. And again you can say I’m imagining it,but I can’t and haven’t manifested something out of thin air or become god so I have more reason to believe this world does its own thing. And assuming their is only one being, if you can’t become god right now sober and change my mind, then you’re likely not imagining it enough to say it’s not different than imagination, and I can’t either no matter if I’m open to it. -
johnlocke18 replied to johnlocke18's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Leo Gura But if you’re willing to consider the possibility I’ll explain why could just be a confirmation bias. You say it’s possible to manifest things out of thin air, but for the most part, have you ever done that sober? When we call something a hallucination or delusion, or real or unreal, it’s not to say this is the most real reality, It’s to distinguish it from THIS reality that we experience sober. Even if it is more real, it has no effect in this world that we’re going to be in awhile, and if you have had anything carry over other than an afterglow feel free to share. So, its kind of silly to call this world an illusion, even if it is because it’s the most consistent one we’re currently in. Psychedelic experiences are almost never consistent, so there’s really no point to put much importance on them. And assuming they create a permanent change, it’s not consistent enough to say it’s more important than people already say it is. And assuming there’s only one experiencer, I can’t manifest things out of thin air, and you likely can’t either regardless how much you meditate or whatever. But you literally can only assume there’s on being experiencing. Also, you say you’re not enlightened so why do so much to gamble if you’re not even sure if it’s possible to be in that state consistently other than take people’s word? You might as well do meditation and psychedelics, but not put much importance in them and assume you’ll get much out of them other than feel good. -
johnlocke18 replied to johnlocke18's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Leo Gura I like the idea but no thanks. I’d rather interpret my experiences for myself, than have someone else’s belief. Psychedelics are the ultimate confirmation bias and I’m sure if you did dmt believing in the spaghetti monster that would suddenly be the ultimate truth. You believed in enlightenment before doing psychedelics. -

@Shin It is a dumb point. And you should be ashamed of yourself lol -
johnlocke18 replied to johnlocke18's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Shin “You are attached to wording.” So if I’m talking about an elephant it doesn’t matter if I call it a lion so people don’t know what I’m talking about? Words describe something so saying language is useless is the stupidest point ever. -
johnlocke18 replied to johnlocke18's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Salvijus Yeah though he’s wording it different. The best word is “ nothing”imo, because silence will make people think of a thing. He even had to say “not like the school teacher silent.”. Idk why a lot of spiritual teachers use confusing wording. I’m don’t see the point in it. -
johnlocke18 replied to johnlocke18's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Judy2 And nothingness is none of that, nonexistence. Which you can’t experience, only realize. It isn’t even a void, which is another state. And the trap people falling into is thinking infinity, being, god, formlessness, and the void are nothingness. True nothingness is in the background of everything that can be experienced, even emptiness. And that makes it the deepest realization, because you can’t get more nothing than nothing. -
johnlocke18 replied to johnlocke18's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Judy2 And I corrected myself earlier, I meant nothingness when I said emptiness in the beginning. But now that I’m being clearer with definitions, emptiness is empty space, which exists and you can feel it, making it a thing. This is where people don’t understand, and believe god is deeper. They mistake emptiness with true absence of existence. -
johnlocke18 replied to johnlocke18's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Judy2 It is, but that doesn’t make it nothingness. It makes it emptiness. The difference is formlessness is empty space, going on and on forever, which is within existence, and nothingness is just nothing. Nothingness can’t go on and on forever like infinity, because there’s nothing to go on and on forever. -
johnlocke18 replied to johnlocke18's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Judy2 Like I said, I didn’t make up my own definitions but used the official ones, to clearly say what I mean. Saying god is nothingness is wrong because ultimate reality exists, making it something. And formlessness does not mean nothingness. The only conclusion I can come to is that people haven’t realized it yet, or experienced formlessness and assumed god is deeper. All things have to be within nothing, because nothing is outside infinity. There is not mistake in words. -
johnlocke18 replied to johnlocke18's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Judy2 And I’m using the official definitions, to be clear by what I mean. People making up their own definitions leads to confusion, like saying god is nothingness. Ultimate reality or god is not nothingness, because nothingness isn’t reality. Reality is existence.
