Yes. Parents were right when they told you to find God and trust God and more like it. They were wrong only in the specifics. -
The only way to long lasting happiness or just living well is to be as close to God as possible. There is the human mind and God's mind. Both are superimposed on each other that they are literally one. But the human mind rented out it's own space from God's mind, temporarily that there are now two minds. Using the human mind, be as close to God as possible. The entirety of Human life is to get as close to God as possible. This is the grand theme in everyone's life. Either you can consciously choose to accelerate the trend or you can swim against the current while creating a ton of suffering. Your call. Either way, the inevitable cannot be stopped. What's is God's mind to you? Be as close to the mind of God as possible.

They have more than enough resources to clone it. But they can't clone the user base. They are essentially paying for the user base, not the tech. That why Facebook acquired WhatsApp and Instagram when they were loss making companies. And Microsoft acquired GitHub. Organically growing the user base is a challenge. There have been many clones of twitter none of which really took off. Yeah that rebranding was shitty. Should have been a word atleast. What's this letter X supposed to mean? He thinks of himself as the the CEO of a rugged corporation X which is ruling the dystopian post apocalyptic world headed in San Francisco. -

Elon Musk is for Free speech. Not free speech absolutism. It's pretty straightforward. That "absolutism" is your baggage. It's not like Elon gives you the right to call N word at everyone. Such a things never happened and if it did you will be banned in no time. You are making up stereotypical shit so that it's easy for you to cook up simplistic arguments and talking points. In a time when leftists would try to get you fired from your job for giving political opinions on social media, Elon Musk have offered to fight litigation battles against those who fired you for posting your opinions on that site. This is free speech. Not absolutism. This should have been a basic right. You are having a conversation about free speech only because Elon Made the idea popular in the main stream. Else every other site would only had upper class liberal propaganda funded by multi billion corporates. The default is WEF propaganda. Alternative is Free Speech. -

He overvalued and overpaid for it. The twitter people actually forced the buy which Elon actually wanted to back out, but couldn't because of some clause in the agreement. Because it's a net profit for them. Elon is a jackass for overestimating the value of this site. He probably could have closed the deal for less, with the Twitter management less willing to close the deal. Twitter has a lot more features and better user experience than what it used to. So you might want to look at yourself for parroting stereotypical talking point. "Rocket man/ electric car man cannot manage social media or free speech." Twitter is objectively better than what it used to be, which was a bureaucratic semi governmental bloated, organisation which was running at a loss. It has tons of cool new features that you could make use of and use it as an actual social media site. There were people who predicted that twitter would crash, because of employees layoff and nothing of that sort happened. He killed a lot of small business on twitter by overcharging the API in the name of killing the bots. That was not good. ------ And twitter was the last thing that has a steady growth. The backstory of the whole app is worthy of a Game of thrones level of drama rollercoaster. That was how the company was managed all the while. So we are not seeing anything new here. -

Detachment from petty ideas is important. God certainly doesn't encourage petty ideas although God would have sympathy over someone holding petty ideas and suffering for it. That suffering is an indication that you have swayed from the way of God and you need to realign with the way of God. This is simple and anyone can apply effortlessly and organically, which is why I like this approach so much. -

Yes of course. Water is God. But let's face the ground reality that you are living an unconscious human life that doesn't feel like Godly. It's a life full of petty human bullshit. Guess what? All this petty bullshit is the mind of God. Rape and Murder and slavery and abuse is also the mind of God. But you certainly cannot accept it. So you would think about the mind of God itself and make your petty human life as close of God as possible. What are the aspects of God's mind? It's values sovereignty. It's unifying. Two examples. Now you look forward to make your human life look for unifying force and value sovereignty as humanly possible. This is possible while you are working or doing your daily chores. As a human you have to work with your petty mind and it's limitations. That's "temporarily" because you will eventually merge with God's values one way or another. An ant is going to merge with God eventually. The form is temporary. Progress in society is progress in being closer and closer to the mind of God. Progress will happen no matter what. It cannot be stopped. But it can slowed or accelerated. -

It was unprofitable and would ban you for petty stuff . The only way they would keep running was if they took funding from wealthy donor and did what they said word by word. Not that the current one is any better, but in terms of user experience it has considerably improved. -

Both are the same thing. But we can't grasp this in survival mode. -

😂😂 I stopped commenting on the war after I looked into it. It's far more complicated than what meets the eye. -

Is the forum biased for jews? Most of my friends who are pro Palestine and they are also right wing at other times. This forum which was supposed to be left wing/green is pro israel. I think this is the only issue where people are not flocking on terms of their typical ideology. People of both sides support both Israel and Palestine. Very interesting. ---- In other news, Ethopia is all set to invade Eritrea and China is preparing to invade Taiwan. -
I don't recommend working too hard at the gym. It's too dangerous.

Abstraction is about finding the commonalities in different things. Understanding is realising the differences in a thing. -
When it comes to sheer performance and productivity, Edge has the edge over other browsers. Almost like MSft is trying to overcompensate their neglect for Internet explorer and I have always used it during my Windows day. Of course I am going to switch to free and open source browsers in the future. Yup. Best gaming experience is probably on windows. Linux gaming is decent enough. That's what I heard from others.

Which book? Understanding is generalizing without loss of specifics. I kinda think both are one and the same. -
It's not an issue if you overkill on ram and processor. But the fact that it's eating up precious resources for no real reason bugs me too much to not pay attention to it. Not to mention privacy matters. But privacy is not an issue for most people it seems. In Linux, you can run one small script to backup your files, exactly when you feel a backup is necessary. The backup service is not constantly running in the background. Also for browser Firefox is lagging behind too much that I have to use Edge even on Linux. Edge is simply better, performance and features wise. No. Do you?

Pretty bold of you to assume that we had a democracy in the first place. The United States and every other paper democracy for that matter has systems in place to make sure that the will of the people will NOT take place. The people who run those systems are the ones who fear monger that our democracy is under threat. "Our democracy is under threat." *Proceeds to strike down a policy that had overwhelming support from the people* "Damn I just saved the democracy" Clown Show. -
When we identify as evolutionary, we obsolete the need for paid as a driver. Emergence through emergency is a low-quality, and slow way for growth. We can contemplate how we are participating in the evolutionary process and even work to boost the evolutionary process. Universe is selecting for more diversity and differences at the same time. We develop capacity for abstraction so that we can think of the future as good or bad. Abstraction is a newer set of emergent properties. Incredible.

This spec is pretty normal for 4k video editing which Leo probably does a lot. There are people who get threadripper pro or i9 latest gen that's truly insane. I cannot think of a use case for such unless you are into some hardcore research or production grade modelling or AI. Not going to be enough. Also get yourself a good anti virus software, just in case you want to be perfectly safe. Windows Defender will crumble in case malware creeps into your system. Although less likely these days. That's the problem man. With windows there are always more and more softwares that you need to run, to make up for the vulnerabilities which is, infact created by having a large bloated OS to begin with. There is going to be ant malware executables, data extraction mechanisms and if you are backing up your files they are going to constantly run in the background. I recently switched to Linux Mint for that reason.

Uncle Bill is interested in your data. I have been looking around for some PC lately. I found this to suit my requirements. I am not confident enough to build my own yet, although that would be significantly cheaper. This is about 1.2K USD. Edit: This has an extra 256GB SSD storage. This is where I would put the OS. 1TB is for pure storage in the long term. Running the OS in the SSD drive would degrade it significantly faster (more write operations). I can keep replacing that smaller SSD over and over again. Works well for long term use.

This is a fun and interesting exercise to build emphathy. But don't fool yourself into thinking you have learned something real by watching videos or even talking to people. Actually surviving these places is the true test. You cannot get that while sitting in your comfy room sipping ice cream and watching 3rd grade living conditions in 4k. -
Putin is much more sane and grounded than the western media wants to give credit to. His only biases are that he is too delusional about the Russian state being a global super power enough to counter US while having an economy lesser than that of Texas. Even that is entirely due to the natural gas which the world is moving away from. It would have been really interesting to see what would have happened if Russia was actually powerful enough to challenge the west, economically. I personally hate imposing this liberal culture on everyone especially to countries lower down the developmental spiral. So I can resonate well with what Putin is struggling with here.
