What do you mean? His life is wrecked. He wouldn't even have to be extradited to the Uk. Don't worry. He will serve prison time in Romania itself. And it will take time. I am not saying it will happen tomorrow or even this year. It will take time. -
😂😂Best of luck my guy.

We already saw how competent the first world legal systems are. The UK had their chance and did nothing. I have more trust in Romania all day any day. It's a blank generalization that third world system are corrupt from head to toe. These alphabet agencies are a whole different beast altogether. They are competent although slow moving. But once they get their grip on you, they won't go back till they see blood. ------------ -

Oh he has to finish the trial in Romania first as per this report. https://www.npr.org/2024/03/12/1238086900/andrew-tate-arrested-romania-to-extradite-uk https://x.com/mirceabarbu/status/1767599458479391068?s=20 So that's clear. The extradition will take place only After finishing all the proceedings in Romania. That's better. His transgressions in the UK dates from 2012-15. Their police did nothing during that time and now they are suddenly up on their feet. For what? Romanian top police agency is doing their job well. And the transgressions in Romania dates 2016-22. All this means that he would have to go back to UK if is he is acquitted from the Romanian court. Not the other way around. ----- Note to self: Whenever you hear a news you first have to verify the Truth of the matter before reacting to it. You can only bribe the local police. He isn't rich enough to bribe the biggest agency in Romania. You can only bribe people who are at or below your level. There is no way he could bribe DIICOT other than in his dreams. -

They will support you as long as you are willing to be a doormat and let those people wreck Israeli citizens. The moment you take control of the situation to stop this bullshit, they hate you. Western liberals in a nut shell. -

Cool. That doesn't make me wrong anyway and even it was that doesn't do anything to refute my larger point. Why would I need to be Israeli to say all this? How does that come about? 😭 US was pretty much invested in the Saudi conflict. They were backing saudi like they are doing Israel right now, even though Biden pulled out of it in 2021. Still they didn't get any large flack for it. So you do agree that the media & public outcry about Israel has to do with the state of political division within your own country rather than the humanitarian crisis that's actually going on in gaza. Media is using the humanitarian crisis for political gain. That's even more despicable. -
In this day and age, you should opt to become the jack of trades rather than specializing in one. That should give you more returns than the other.

What are you even saying. Where were all these "pro pal" people declaring their support for Yemen? Why were they not vocal about the bombing which were far worse than gaze situation. Israel is not the most loved nation in the world. What is even your point? Even if you hate them, does that mean the bombings would be less effective? What is the logic? After all it's a human right issue. Did it before posting. Yeah sure. Hamas terrorists are to be blamed, but in a more nuanced way. -

The UK case might be weak. Those things happened a long time ago. It was better if they could finish the trial in Romania. Even the pretrial is not over yet. DIICOT was building a solid case against him. Anyways he would have to face trial back in Romania, even if he is acquitted in the UK court. His life is already fucked having to face legal for years to come. Imagine if the US gets involved. -
It's reasonable to assume that stocks also rise over time. You can diversify the portfolio to override any crash of individual stocks. If you go on researching on this stuff, it will drive you nuts. Researching should not take more than a week. Not only are there too many variables to comprehend, but most of those variables will cancel each other over a decade. So buy and forget does apply to stocks as well.

I have one question to all pro Palestinians. Where was all the outcry when Saudi bombed the living fuck out of Yemen? They were bombing them for years and years on end and there was no outcry apart from new reporting here and there. It's been 8 years and still going on right now. Are Yemenese lives less valuable than Palestinian lives? Population of Gaza is only 500k while the population of yemen is 32 million. What's the logic here? -
Bobby_2021 replied to Leo Gura's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
Because of funding from Qatar, Iran, UN and possibly Russia. Destroy their infrastructure and they wouldn't be nearly as effective. Israel might have also funded tunnels in form of humanitarian aid hijacked by terrorist groups. Hamas is single-handedly to blame for everything happening in Gaza right now. -
Bobby_2021 replied to Leo Gura's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
The existence of Israel is not at risk. But their security is. No self respecting nation would sit and watch when a bunch of terrorists from a nearby state rapes and takes their citizens as hostage. No citizen of any country should live in fear of these savages. Such terrorists groups should be nullified. -
Leo, on a long enough time scale the market will grow and your portfolio with it. You could not put your effort into something else and generate even more money instead of doing market research. Buy and forget is a relatively good strategy for normal people. Even hedge funds who have trained professionals who do market research full time cannot beat the s&p500 over a decade. So what research is the normal people going to do in such a limited time?

What was even the objective of war on terror? There wasn't even an objective. Yes they did wreck the middle East and toppled stable governments. But they didn't have a tangible goal to get done. Throwing money and equipment doesn't mean that it isn't half asses. In fact hoping to get something out of it by throwing money at the problem is what I mean by half assing the war. Invading another country overseas was bound to fail from the beginning. Even Afganistan bought them to their knees. So there isn't anything new here. That is not what Israel is doing. Israel is not invading an overseas country. What Israel is doing is destroying the terrorist infrastructure. That is the tunnel system that they built over the years with foreign aid money. Qatar and Iran also contributed to building this terrorists infrastructure. America was looking for weapons of mass destruction. Israel is looking for tunnels. WMDs didn't exist anyway and they didn't even have the slightest proof it did. But tunnels do exist and it's being destroyed. It's a bloody war. It won't be nice. But their fundamental goal is to destroy their tunnels. Sometimes they go over and beyond. I don't agree with it. But it's war. It's kind of expected to happen. But largely they are targeting the terrorist infrastructure. You have to wonder that if terrorists were using hospitals to store as weapons and missiles, that would also count as terrorist infrastructure. I highly doubt this. But I am willing to give you the benefit of doubt. If hamas were up for a peaceful deal, Israel should have taken it. But I doubt if there were even a deal, and if there were such a deal, how sincere would they be while making one. Hamas is a terrorist groups that has a mind and ideology on its own. It's not open to making deals and top down decision making like high trust democracies. For example many hamas leaders didn't even know that the sinwar leader was even planning an oct 7 attack. Basically one leader can choose to act on his whims and go rape and torture Israelis and the rest of the hamas leader has to go with it. So making deals with such savages are dangerous. Definitely. Violence will lead to more violence. That's the lesson that hamas should learn. Their violence left gaza in this mess. The existence of Israel is not at all at risk. Just because some media people cry hard about Palestine ain't going do anything. Those people on the roads or blue haired college kids are not decisions makers. The US deep state know what's it's doing. They are the ones making decisions. Those decisions are independent of what party is ruling. Also Israel only has to worry about terrorism belt. Iran & Russia. Other neighbouring countries may not have good reasons to bond with Israel. But they wouldn't dare to go to war with them. They know what going under the hood. -

That's what happens when you half ass your war on terror. And war on terror was based on a lie that they have weapons of mass destruction. And it was a proxy invasion. Invasions never worked and will never work. That's different from what Israel is doing. A targeted attack against real terrorists and destroying their infrastructure. There is no way you can make deals with terrorists. Their end goal is to end the state of Israel. Israel Gaza situation is a special one with loads of complexities that I would be more hesitant to make blanket parallels with other historical events. -
The housing crisis has spiraled out of control especially in Australia. For countries that value equality and justice so much cannot even afford to give a space to live for their own citizens is unreal to me. The same crisis plagues other cities across the world, but it seems to be particularly dangerous in Australia. How do you navigate this crisis? Have you been in a rent crisis? How did you cope and what are some long terms and short-term solutions to this problem. Stop immigration all together is not viable since that is a huge part of what fuels their economy. They have to put some checks on immigration for sure. But how do you solve this crisis from the supply side? Thoughts.

Absolutely. Affluence have got them out of touch with reality, but a few terror attacks will get them in line. Some learn only by the consequences of their own actions, if they learn at all. It all boils down to how much you are willing to tolerate. Take a no tolerance approach and terror attacks will decline. Those political leader who take such a strong stance will be seen as "fascists" and authoritarians. Those who sympathies with the terrorists are seen as people with sympathy etc. This is all nonsense. As a nation, we need to have unbreakable ideals, which if you violate, you will be shown hell. This is not nice, but this is the only way to reduce terror attacks and bring peace. -
Bobby_2021 replied to Leo Gura's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
You have a poor understanding of what "developed country" means. It's the under developed countries that sit and tolerate terrorism and allow them to run a much. Will Dubai allow this bullshit? No. They ban all this and will put you in jail for this nonsense. A subset of the Muslim countries are horrifically underdeveloped and a significant faction of elites from the developed countries fund the terrorists, even if they may half heartedly condemn it. ------------------- Using civilians to reach their goal is not despicable but the standard operating procedure for terrorists. Bending to their demands is like bending to the will of the terrorist. You are behaving exactly like they want you to behave. You don't have to let this happen. -
Bobby_2021 replied to Leo Gura's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
Israel is following the war ethics from what I hear in the news. Before bombing a building they will announce to vacate it. They follow all standards of a modern ethical military. I understand your concern. Bombing civilians. They are sadly and unfortunately the collateral damage. It's not easy to get rid of terrorism. There is a heavy price to pay. That's the only way to deal with terrorists & cowards. But the price for tolerating terrorism is going to be brutal manifold. Whatever the world should not tolerate terrorism. Democracy and liberalism doesn't mean you give a free pass to terrorism. -
Bobby_2021 replied to Leo Gura's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
Hamas will and should cease to exist. They can choose their final tomb. Doesn't matter that they are amidst civilians. Hamas tunnels will be destroyed. Hamas is the one committing war crimes by using civilians as a human sheild. This is not enough to deter Israel. Corrected it for you. -
Good points.
