@Ramanujan Yeah that and also the fact that it doesn't talk about reality or existence in a way that makes you really understand what is going on in life. I've learned more about how life actually works and how existence really is than any class has ever taught me.
-
No school, high school, or college has ever taught me the truths of life; I have had to learn them all on my own. The reality is that if the educational system were to teach the truth about life, it wouldn't necessarily make people feel good, and it might be quite dark to hear. Nonetheless, all the insights I have gained independently are still valid truths about life, no matter how bad they may be. I feel that I possess a sense of wisdom from learning these truths that are rarely discussed in school or mentioned in everyday conversations.
-
@gambler Yeah but I mean real valuable wisdom things that actually matter school never teaches you that I had to learn that all on my own. Like real truths of life that is how reality and existence actually work I never learned any of that from school it has all been on my own.
-
@Hojo Yeah I was thinking other than Philosophy classes which actually discuss life meaning and existence no other classes really teach you about the truths of life. Science is also interesting if you have taken classes that do that to.

Robert William Fisher is currently a wanted fugitive for allegedly killing his family and blowing up the house on April 10, 2001 in Scottsdale, AZ. He has since yet to be found. He used to be on the FBI’s 10 most wanted fugitive’s list but he was removed from it in 2021 but is still considered a fugitive. He also served in the US Navy and worked as firefighter and in the medical field. His wife Mary Fisher’s car was found in a forest near Young, Arizona but Robert was nowhere to be found. His two kids, Brittany and Bobby Fisher, were twelve and ten years old. I think this story really displays how bad the world is. I just use this story as an example and I know there are countless others but the fact that these people lost their lives and were killed by their husband and father really shows how bad the world is. It makes me question what life is for and what the purpose of life is if something horrible like this can happen to people in the world. It makes me question existence and what this is all for if something so horrible like this can happen. I think this displays how truly awful and evil of a world we live in that something like this can happen to a mother and two children. This is a reddit discussion about the crime: https://www.reddit.com/r/TrueCrimeDiscussion/comments/1abqwem/the_man_in_this_photo_is_robert_william_fisher/ This is a documentary about the case that I have watched as well.

I have a bachelor's in Communication and Media. I have a Social Media Marketing Certificate. I have experience and a portfolio in Social Media but I am struggling to find jobs with my degree. I didn't spend all this time, money and investment in school to not be able to get a job afterwards. This is just completely ridiculous. What do I need to do to find jobs in my field?
-
@Salvijus Your right and what the hell type of college system lets you invest over 100,000 dollars in a degree and you can't get a job in the field afterwards. This should be illegal.
-
@Leo Gura What do you think about this? I have my bachelor's in Communication and Media. Then I went back to school and got a social media marketing certificate. That certificate cost me an extra six weeks of time and another 1200 dollars and I still can't get anything in my field.
-
@Princess Arabia This isn't right though I didn't spend all this time to get a degree to not be able to get a job in my field. Not only that but I am WENT BACK and got a certificate in social media marketing. That cost me an extra six weeks of time and another 1200 dollars and still can't get a job in my field.
-
@El Zapato Yeah I go through all the common job websites like Indeed, Linkedin, Glassdoor, Handshake etc. I am still having trouble getting something.
-
@integral Well I am I am applying to jobs on job websites everyday like Indeed, Glassdoor, Linkedin, etc.

What should I do if I feel more comfortable running as a Democrat but I have way more republican views. Basically the reason I feel this way is because I am mixed with white and black. I do feel like the Republican Party still has a lot of racism in it and they don't choose candidates of color often to have higher positions. I feel like I would be prohibited from moving up the field the way that I would like because of my mixed race background and I would be stopped from moving up to higher positions. However I tend to agree with republicans on more issues than I do democrats and I feel I have more republican goals. What should I do?

When homosexuality is recognized and accepted widely in society it harms and hurts many people in society. -

Clarence Thomas would like the supreme court to reconsider overturning same sex marriage. If the courts could overturn it, it would be better for everyone in society. -

I feel it is better for same sex couples, marriages and the LGBTQ community as a whole to not be allowed that way nobody risked getting negatively influenced by the LGBTQ community. -
NightHawkBuzz replied to NightHawkBuzz's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Leo Gura Religious reasons. Also, though there are literally hormones inside the male and female body which make them attracted to the opposite sex. When people are pure there hormones stay the same when the LGBTQ community starts to influence or force others to become gay the hormones inside their body change and they become unpure and can never go back. This is a huge reason why it is so important. -
NightHawkBuzz replied to NightHawkBuzz's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Jacob Morres No but in this case it is. The mass majority of people are straight and that's why like I said people that "claim to be gay" have changed the hormones inside their body. Your body is designed to want to mate and reproduce with the opposite sex. You are literally changing the hormones inside your body for anyone that is gay. That's why most people aren't gay because most don't change the horomones inside their body. -
NightHawkBuzz replied to NightHawkBuzz's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Leo Gura Because it's considered a strange, unusual, abnormal behavior. Think about it if 95% of the world's population is straight and only 5% claim that they are gay. Many people from that 95% would find behavior like that strange because that's not what the mass majority of society does. -
NightHawkBuzz replied to NightHawkBuzz's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@mattm33 Because whatever you want to think gayness and homosexuality are not considered normal behaviors. The mass majority of people are not homosexual and abnormal behaviors like this shouldn't be accepted in society. We need to put a stop to it. -
NightHawkBuzz replied to NightHawkBuzz's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@mattm33 We will be living in a culture were people will be curious or influenced to be bisexual and homosexual because that is what they are heavily exposed to and seen in society. -

This video does a good job of explaining the three steps of the LGBTQ community that I have been talking about. The last step is forcing people to participate in this behavior in society. -
NightHawkBuzz replied to NightHawkBuzz's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Leo Gura I'm just saying we can't accept homosexuality in society because it influences others. This behavior can't recognized or tolerated because it influences other people in society. We can't let behavior like this get to other people. Once you tolerate homosexuality you will be willing to go further to accept other behaviors in society. -
NightHawkBuzz replied to NightHawkBuzz's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@Leo Gura The reason why it is dangerous because there is a three step process in accepting communities like this which I keep saying. 1. Tolerate 2. Celebrate 3. Participation This is the last step in accepting the LGBTQ community is that now you have to have something to do with the LGBTQ community is some way shape or form. You can't just accept the community and tolerate it no now you have to be apart of it some way shape or form. This is the final step in accepting the LGBTQ community is which is why it so dangerous to have in society.
