  4. Name: Alexander Ryen Age: 20 Location: Norway Occupation: Looking for a job Marital Status: Single Kids: Non Hobbies: Enlightenment, meditation, personal development, fruitarianism, psychedelics, natural living, fitness, walks, nature. Started experimenting with cannabis 3-4 years ago and that got me thinking with a more open mind. Started watching a lot of youtube vids on health, natural living, psychedelics, spirituality, and personal development. Came across a vid of Leo taking about the ego about 2 years ago and from there on i watched a lot of his content and then i started practicing meditation and got very interested in self actualization/enlightenment. Things I I've overcome: I quit tobacco, alcohol, and cannabis. Dropped all junk food and all animal based foods. Now im eating a low fat high carb plant based diet of mainly fruits, greens, and some cooked starches. Quit playing video games. Committed to the path of self-mastery Doing strong determination sitting for 1 hour daily + 20-30 min of meditation laying down in the morning. Increased focus and clarity. A lot more conscious. More authentic and confident, Stopped hanging out with old friends. What I'm working on now: Find my life purpose. Gathering money to travel. Choose what i want to work with. Stop being lazy Enlightenment/self actualization Increase my strong determination sitting/meditate more. Thinking about becoming a monk. Make like minded friends.
  5. @StarGazor Vegans don't buy or eat anything from a animal, but some do wear leather/wool if its from before they went vegan instead of trowing it away. They are also people how eats a vegan diet and maybe not so much into the ethics and wear leahter etc., and thats called plantbased.
  6. @The Son No problem bro, glad i could help!
  7. @The Son The only supplement you need is b12. And a healthy vegan diet could even be more cheap. Rice, beans, legumes, rasins, pasta, potatoes, bananas, and oats are one of the cheapest foods on the planet. If you want it to work you will find a way...It all depends on how much you want good health, cause less suffering for fellow animals, and less environmental destruction. Its a lot easier than you think! If you want to learn more check out: nutritionfacts.org (Nutrition and health) Forks over knifes (Health Documentary on netflix) Cowspiracy (The environment, on youtube and netflix) Earthlings (ethics, on youtube)
  8. @Phocus Great post, cloudn't put it better myself! I think we should get the most calories from foods that we find satisfying and delicious in its raw natural state like fruits and some greens/veggies for optimal health and wellbeing
  9. @Leo Gura Raw foods gives you a lot of energy for sure! But impossible to just live on salads, they are SO low in calories. If you are gonna try this challenge in the future i would recommend you get at least eat 80-90% of the calories from sweet fruit and some avocados. Thats what gonna make you feel satisfied and give you the best energy! And the rest maybe some salads, and little bit nuts.
  10. @Arqhe I think a fruitarian diet is the most optimal diet for humans, its what we really enjoy in its raw natural state, and gives us the carbohydrates we need to feel satisfied and energised. If you are gonna try it out go with bananas, dates, raisins, mangos, avocados, melons, some leafy greens, and other good fruits. And the most important thing is to eat ENOUGH! Raw foods are a lot less calorie dense than cooked food! Working my way to fruitarian and so far i feel amazing, eat about 80% of my calories from fruit. Cant wait to go fully fruitarian.
