  1. If I am actually the same as you, how come I can only see through my eyes, hear my thoughts etc? How can I be sure that you even have any thoughts? Since I can't experience them directly, would that not mean that they are a fantasy?
  2. @Aaron p Seems like good advice, will try on the next couple of trips and report the results! Thanks
  3. @Leo Gura I've wanted to say this for quite a while, and now seems a good time. I am incredibly grateful for the forum, the blog, all your videos and especially the booklist. I see lots of ungrateful posts, here and also in the YouTube comments. Just know that, for every troll, there is probably like 100 people who's lifes you've absolutely transformed. And I can appreciate how much work and dedication it must've cost. Unbelievable, inspiring amounts of vision must have been necessary. Thank you! <3
  4. Hello Actualizers, Has anyone taken the contemplation eCourse from Peter Ralston's website? (I don't think I'm allowed to link it, but you'll find it if interested) Is it worth it? What changed in the way you contemplate? What results did that produce? Thank you for your help
  5. I recommend you actually do a retreat. It would take you forever to reach the level of mindfulness that a full-time silent retreat can give you in 10 days. Plus, they are donation based, so technically free. And available all over the world. Good shit.
  6. I just said that he comes up quite often if people talk more deeply to me, but after reading what I said I noticed that it's not really true (anymore). In the past, I was really excited about the topic and it was basically the only thing I talked about, but in the last year or so I really reduced that. It basically alienated about 90% of the people, who are not even familiar with the idea that such a thing like self-actualization is possible. So I try to kinda hint at that idea, but sending them a 2,5h video of a talking head would just be ridiculous and pushing my agenda on them.
  7. @Shin I deeply admire you mate (or the person you are portraying on this forum). Your posts display a mixture of lightness and wisdom that I find really appealing. I'm not even sure if you're right in this case, just wanted to tell you that you're a cool mofo
  8. I'm quite sure she's trolling actually
  9. Hey Actualizers, The following topic is something I've been contemplating for a while now and I want some of your thoughts and advice on, as I think that it is relevant for many of us. After doing the LP course multiple times, the two themes that appear almost exclusively are music and spirituality. Going the path of deepest spiritual wisdom (becoming a sage and stuff) seems to be inevitable, and I'm sure that I can reconcile that with artistic endeavours, probably even as a source of income. However, time is scarce. Focus and prioritization are the solutions, and that leaves me with a choice between pursuing financial independence, creative achievement or consciousness first. A few days ago I had a key insight. While contemplating how I could learn to write some ridiculously awesome music, I realized that "What would you do if you knew you could not fail?" is a far less abstract question than I had thought. I realized that music, just as everything else, follows principles which I can find and master to achieve excellence. And while it will take extraordinary amounts of work and dedication, in the end, success is inevitable. This insight left me in a void of unlimited possibilities. If I really can not fail, but the workload is huge, would music really be the one thing to focus on first? If I am honest: probably not. The number one thing, without any trace of doubt, would be Truth and consciousness. Now being grounded in absolute certainty, taking into account what Leo said towards the end of the chapters & phases video, I have the following question: Is it possible/reasonable, to focus completely on consciousness, before having handled life purpose/financial freedom? This just seems hard to answer from my level of experience. However, it just does not feel right to put off working towards Truth any further. Have any of you had success with doing it in that order? Can you pursue consciousness while working a 9-5 job? What methods and strategies can you recommend if I'm dedicated to making this work? I am currently a student and will be for at least another year. It does eat up quite some time, but to be honest, prioritization will create lots of space (also, there are breaks between semesters that sometimes last 2.5 months lol). Thank you for your help!
  10. Thank you for all your answers! To clarify: I definitely think that both need to be handled at some point, the question is about the order of focus. Starting a career in music will require 100% focus for a certain amount of time, leaving little room for spiritual development. @Serotoninluv Beautifully said, really touched me! In the end, both will be inevitable to craft the most badass life possible! \m/ @Leo Gura Prioritizing spirituality, I would just accept being a semi-wage-slave, maybe working parttime in a job that is at least not completely soul-draining. I worked 9 to 5 for half a year and with proper nutrition, sleep and prioritization, my energy levels and time were not too bad. I guess the only way to find out is to actually try. You guys really encouraged me by giving me the sense that it's at least not entirely impossible. Quitting after a year or two of being a slave is always possible and I'll take my consciousness and insights with me. No matter how we turn it, this path is difficult and takes commitment and dedication (LP as well as consciousness). Also, the second one you tackle is always going to profit from past experiences and be easier. In 20 years I'm gonna be a badass Sage, not matter what order I choose. Thank you! I'll share my progress and major insights as all this unfolds.
  11. @Belay kelemework There is only one God, and that is what you are.
  12. Turquoise: Bloodbath - Eaten (It's about two guys who want to experience unity)
  13. It's not a deliberate decision, I just notice that it matters less and less, compared to raising my consciousness and, above all, finally realizing truth. But there is of cause nothing wrong with it, I still listen to and play a lot of music. But it's not my focus anymore.
  14. It's quite funny and also quite beneficial that you made this post. I'm in a very similar situation and asked myself the same question. For me, there is one major difference between me and you/Leo: I'm really into music. However, it becomes less and less important as I progress in spiritual work. So considering the principles of commitment and mastery, it will not even play that big of a role because consciousness > music (> everything). I've arrived at pretty much the same conclusion Leo just presented. Question if you're just being influenced or if it's authentic. For me, since it has only become stronger in the last months, I'm quite sure I just happen to share similar values, which is not that strange after all. Not sure if that's the same for you, but Leo also played a huge part in my entire development and growing up. So being influenced and being authentic might actually be the same thing. It is very hard sometimes not to deify Leo. Apart from my parents, he is by far the most influential person in my life. A whole new world has been opened to me, my whole life has been transformed. Fuck, I was some super orange, scientific, religion-bashing, arrogant and tbh quite unhappy guy a few years ago. Then I found "How to make a girl squirt" @Leo Gura Thank you man, I actually have tears in my eyes right now. Hope I'll meet you some day to give you a big hug
  15. @Wisebaxter Had to scroll way to far for that
  16. Isn't that amazing? Nothing to do, no pressure. Now you can just build something. Just for fun. Try some meditation maybe, maybe some yoga, maybe even some psychedelics. Sit in a park. Go to a bar, not to pick up girls, just be there. Try some sport you've never tried (can recommend climbing, it's sick!). EDIT: Or go to a concert! One of my favourite things to do. Nothing to loose, it didn't make a difference if you got up or not in the first place. And if you don't feel like getting up, just don't. Watch some Netflix or something. Drop your expectations of what your life should look like. I can also recommend thinking about @now is forever 's questions. If you feel like it.
  17. So today my dad send me an online article of one of the biggest German newspapers (Bild). The exact content is not really important here, but basically they claimed that a study had found harmful effects of cannabis. The study that they linked however found pretty much the exact opposite of what they were promoting in their article. They just made facts up to use for propaganda. Even though this is not a new issue, it is very dangerous. Millions of people read that shit every day. They are being mass manipulated. This is not the first time this has happened and it's not the only media channel that does it. I'm sure this is happening in other countries. I want to raise awareness about this. There is no law in Germany that prohibits spreading of fake news, so I'm not to sure at the moment what I'm going to do about it. Any Ideas?
  18. @FractalFlux Sick, perfect answer, thank you! Since you seem to know what you're talking about, can you confirm that the method using vinegar would also work?
  19. @outlandish @Hsinav Thank you! I'll try the vinegar method first I think, for obvious reasons, but if that does not seem to work I'll probably test that one too. It might take a while though, because I don't even have any 5-MeO yet.
  20. @outlandish Thanks man, I'll try it out and post the results. It kinda sounds like an insult to how the brits eat their chips "Salt and Vinegar? Stick that up your ass!"
  21. @Bluff And specifically: HCL form can be plugged, which seems to be the best way to take it for our purposes
  22. Bumping this once more because it's quite important to me and probably other people
