@StarStruck omg I had the exact same thought. Carl Richard is the most problematic mod imo. He literally gives warning points for stating your opinion...? -

@BenG Yeah that‘s completely fine of course:) You are definitely a good interviewer, better than me And obviously we all need theories to navigate life, so do I. All that I told you about God ARE theories by the way, not the truth. I am not conscious of God right now so obviously I am only speaking from memory when speaking of God. Good rule of thumb is (maybe): People who are talking a lot about God are propably currently not conscious of God / still searching for God. I can give you a simple method but your ego might not like it: Take your thirst for truth into LSD and 5-Meo experiences and see what happens. 1 experience is not enough, you need a few of them. Slowly ramp up your dosages. For LSD I found that too high doses are counterproductive. Find your sweetspot. Treat this like an experiment. Don‘t speculate about the outcome or frame it the wrong way. Example of framing it the wrong way would be: „I am just taking a shit ton of drugs and they are messing up my brain.“ This is your ego talking. Psychedelics are not addictive nor are they poisonous. So you have got nothing to lose. Just try them out and see where it goes. And don‘t forget to take your thirst for truth with you, when you do that. -
Hey sweethearts... I never thought that I might actually start a journal one day on this forum. My time has come now and as you can see in the title, my journal will be about meditation. My plan is to meditate for 1 hour every single day for 1 year. Why would I do something as crazy as that? Well, let me explain... Last year I started to experiment with psychedelics. I discovered that: there really is a potential to this reality, a world behind our everyday life that enforces everything that we experience. I discovered that there really is an absolute truth which can always be found in our direct experience and that truth has the potential of transforming everything. Truth heals, truth shelters, truth comforts, truth warms, truth frees up, truth doesn't fight, truth solves all problems. Truth is unspeakable in nature, which is why I won't go in detail about it, words won't do it justice. I hope my meditation experiment can bring my everyday-life to a more truthful place and can transform my everyday-way of being into a more truth-aligned one. My goal with this journey is to see what meditation is capable of doing for me. @Consilience was my main motivation for this, specifically with this post of him: https://www.actualized.org/forum/topic/72807-meditating-2-hours-every-day-1-year-later-psychedelics-vs-meditation/#comment-1002720 but also with the general positions he stands for on this forum. I also got really inspired by his YouTube-channel which I recommend you to check out: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCb13ILJymQHKp6NWmLRYg_g, by the way I am not in any way related to him so the only reason I am promoting him here is because I think his work is great! Why this journal? Well honestly I am starting it for quite selfish reasons. I am afraid that sticking with a 1 hour meditation-habit might be to challenging for me, so I start this journal which kind of forces me to do it. If I won't be able to follow through other people will be able to see it and it will be harder for me to quit this way. Also I can track my progress this way. What will you get from this journal? I will post weekly, every Sunday to be specific. I will keep track of wether or not I did all sessions. And if anything interesting happens in my meditation practice or if I observe any benefits I will let you know. That's it for now, my practice will start tomorrow, next post will be in 7 days - or in other words: next Sunday. Topic: my first week of 1 hour daily meditation. Thank you for reading, wish me good luck and have a great day! Bye bye ~Gregory

@BenG „Mystical experience“ is a very broad term. I guess you should‘ve asked them instead if they have been conscious of the fact that they are God. I also had a „mystical experience“ prior to psychedelics when I was 16 or 17. I became aware that my „self“ didn‘t exist and that time / past / future don‘t exists. I almost got a heart attack cuz I was panicking so hard because of it. I was so afraid… After that I stopped meditating for years because I wanted my „self“ back and was afraid of discovering spiritual truths… However, no-self is a small, very minor realization in comparison to truly awakening. Truly awakening means that you realize that all of life was simply a dream. And waking up from that dream you realize that you are the dreamer, capable of creating any dream you want. Well you might have glimpsed something but I can assure you, once you truly grasp God you won‘t think about its name. You will simply cry your eyes out, screaming on top of your lungs: OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD, OH MY FUCKING GOD… People who didn‘t find God yet can still have discovered legitimate truths, for example the truth of no-self or the truth of consciousness being basis of reality, etc. But it goes deeper. God is the true name of reality, although God obviously doesn‘t care weather or not you call him God. But yeah, there exists with 100% certainty I can say this, an infinite, omniscient, omnipotent, infinitely loving Being that created the entire Existence and is identical to existence itself. What name would you give to that? Allah, God, Beloved One, you choose. Oh yeah and that Infinite Being is You by the way:) Well, I don‘t see spiritual teachers disagreeing on major things. The basis is the same for all of them: You are not the Body, you have no ‚self‘, ego is an illusion, all there is is consciousness, consciousness is limitless, etc. The only thing that creates confusion is the fact, that there are degrees of awakening. And most teachers think they have reached „the end“ when they have not. Here is a list of the best teachers I know of (just my opinion) and they agree on a shit ton of things: Ramana Maharshi Jiddu Krishnamurti Osho Papaji Mooji Sadhguru Rupert Spira Continue the list with teachers you like:) Also different teachers use different language. And express differently. They are pointing to the same truth but they have different cultural filters and different personalities. Awakening won‘t eradicate your personality. It will let truth shine through your particular filter. I‘m sorry to tell you this and this may sound arrogant, it is true though. You haven‘t even begun your spiritual journey. You have not the slightest idea what Truth is. You have simply engaged in some theories and listenened to some beliefs about so called „spirituality.“ But you have not seen Truth ever in your life. Just admit that. You do not know who you are. And you do not know what life is. If you really value Truth you should become deeply curious about the fact that there is a life happening right here in front of your eyes and you should start deeply wondering what this life truly is. No verbal answer and no spiritual theory will give you truth, EVER. It will never happen. Truth is something you can only find in solitude. And only when you deeply care for it. I can give you a taste of truth here, and I mean this literally. If you saw Truth with capital „T“ for just one second, it would break your heart. Your body would collapse because you couldn‘t handle it, you would start crying like an infant tears flowing like a river, screaming like a madman and your life would be changed forever. For the first time in your life you would see something real. You have never seen something real, ever in your life until you see what Truth really is. Well it depends on what you want. First I would advise you to discard everything I wrote above, because it is all words and speculations and words and speculations are not gonna help you in any way to reach truth. See clearly, that everything I told you, or Leo told you, or anybody ever told you is simply speculation, you can‘t know it is true until you see it for yourself. Then I would ask you the following question: What do you want? Do you want to see Truth, do you really want it? Then I can give you advice on how to do it. Or do you rather wanna keep being the „interviewer“ on this forum (thanks @Nahm for that description:D) and keep speculating about spirituality and having your beliefs about life without actually knowing anything truly? Both options are equally valid. If you are happy with your life why change something?:) If you truly are hungry and thirsty for Truth you will discover it. If you want Truth with capital „T“ I can help you to discover it or give you a method to do so. But it is of course totally fine to not want that. All you should want is, what you truly want and what makes you happy:) If you are happy, I am happy:) Cheers. -
@RickyFitts Congrats for 1111 posts man:) thanks for your loving words, it means a lot to me<3

Hey guys, I just wanted to share this observation with you… I know it‘s gonna piss the ladies off but I‘m gonna share it anyways because I think it is true and truth is what we need. So basically dating is simply a game. You go into it and you want something: Either you just want to get laid, or you want a relationship, or you want a threesome, whatever it is; you have a goal. Now there are millenia of experience how dating and attraction really works and I‘m sorry to tell you ladies but women as well as men are animalistic creatures. We have basic survival mechanisms wired into our genes that largely determine how we date, what we attracted to, etc. Understanding these principles and acting them out will make you successful in dating and Leo has shared these principles with you in his how to get laid series. It is like fishing. If you want to be a fisherman you go to a successful fisherman and he teaches you how to do it. It simply works. Unfortunately the ladies here on the forum (the fish in my analogy) want to teach the fishermen how the fish. And of course their advice doesn‘t work because they have a fundamental genetic bias against being „fished“ the way the fishermen want to fish them. So they corrupt the solid dating advice that simply works with stupid advice that will never work. For example they say fluffy stuff like „you have to comfort her, make her feel secure, be nice, etc.“ but never give away the concrete mechanism on how their attraction works. The fundamental problem here is, women do not understand what attracts them and for some reason they are not interested in understanding it. As a male I have no problem admitting that I am an animalistic creature attracted to good health and good looks, but the ladies do not admit what really attracts them. Instead they talk about fluffy ideals and make up stories, while in truth they are as animalistic as we are, just sucking the dicks of some random dudes who apply dating principles correctly. Women are not princesses. They are animals, like men are. But unfortunately they do not seem to be interested in admitting that fact in a rational and logical way like men can do. So here is my advice to you guys: Stop listening to female dating advice. Instead learn the general principles of dating, apply them and the laidies are gonna be more than happy to sleep with you, etc. They just won‘t understand that you had to learn these principles and work for the women because from the female point of view she never has to work to get you, so why would she care? Being a fish and getting fished is easy, you don‘t need a plan. Being a fisherman requires some understanding.

@SQAAD not sure if Leo exists, but I EXIST FUR SURE:) -
@Etherial Cat The funny thing though is, if I used Leos advice on you, you would be happily jumping into bed with me? Basically every single post you made under this topic proves the point that women do not understand how dating works from males POV. But of course you’ll deny that over and over again. @Knowledge Hoarder You were right?? women logic???♂️
-
@somegirl Hahaha nobody is complaining girl??? Only the fish are complaining but this is not advice for fish, it's advice for fishermen??
-
@Knowledge Hoarder If this is true, women should shut their mouths under this topic.
-
Hahaha @Gesundheit2 this is so true... Btw. Where is Emerald? Haven't heard anything from her for a long time..
-
Okay @Etherial Cat if you are so good in advising men, do it. Let's suppose I want to fuck you. What do I have to do to make it happen?

Hey guys, I am very concerned about the situation at the Ukrainian border. I'm not a political expert but I have followed the situation for quite sometime. My question to you is: Will Putin invade anytime soon? Why do you think yes or no? Joe Biden just announced that he believes that Putin will soon attack. From my perspective an invasion anytime soon is unlikely and Putins troop deployment at the Ukrainian border is meant as a threat, in order to get some deals with NATO to not further expand into the close-Russia territory. At least, Putin could invade now or in the coming days and I am really sad if this will happen. What are your thoughts? Do you think Putin will start a war?

Gregory1 replied to Leilani's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@BenG Hi, that's a nice question. I think I would've asked the same question if I didn't do psychedelics, assuming that what people experience on psychedelic is just their personal bias or something they have been told. But this assumtion makes a huge mistake, let me try to explain: It assumes, that "God-Realization" is an "experience" like for example going to a concert is an experience. It assumes that there are no absolute states of consciousness. But the truth is: There ARE states of consciousness, that are ABSOLUTE. This means, they can not be doubted because they are the SOURCE of all other states of consciousness and these states are ALWAYS here right now in your direct experience even if you are sober. The only problem is you cloud these states up with illusions, so you overlook them. I didn't even believe in God or believe what Leo told before doing psychedelics. I was just open to the possibility that maybe there are truths in this universe that one could find out using consciousness tools like psychedelics or meditation. I was an atheist for my whole life. The moment I discovered God I was extremely surprised. I was SHOCKED. There where goosebumps all over my body, my heart was beating like crazy and I couldn't speak a word nor think a thought. It was as if I was just hit by a train. It is prior to any belief one could have. It is prior to any assumption one could make. There is no escaping. Because God really exists, weather you believe in it or not. I fell on my knees in utter shock and disbelief and I was ashamed for every word I ever said in my life. Everything I ever did is utterly meaningless and utterly small in comparison to this infinite being named God that I just discovered. I fell on my knees and cried, screaming "I do not deserve you God."... Because this Being we call God is of infinite beauty. And in your life you have basically done selfish shit all of the time so you feel unworthy. I screamed and I cried when I saw him, and then he breaks your heart: You literally see degrees of beauty that no human has ever seen nor will ever see in their entire life. And God finally gives it to you and tells you: The only thing you are seeing is your OWN beauty. Truly feeling Gods Love (your own Love) just for one single second is worth killing yourself or dying. It kills you. It is so good. If I could feel it right now for one second and after that I would have to suffer for 10 years or kill myself I would say yes. It is so good. God is not a belief. God is the truth. So my answer is: If I would've been open to what the psychedelic "wanted to show me" or in other words, if I would've had the same experience on the psychedelic even if I never heard of Leo Gura, there is no other name I could've given to that Infinite Loving Being that I discovered to be my own ultimate Self other than "God." Peace out:)
