Tears still falling? The door is closing behind you as you enter the room. You walk to the bed and light up the candles... Crawling down there, clawing yourself into the pillow, below the warm blanket you feel like something in your heart is breaking. Your heart broke into a thousand pieces, the pain it killed you. Blood flowing. Red, darkred blood, all over the floor.. Your room becomes a red sea... And you barely remember... In all the pain.. In all the sorrow... You are the river.. You are the sea.. You are the wide open mystery.. You are a breathing, moving thing... And the red sea becomes everything and fills everything up.. As you realize... You are God. And God is Love.

Well if you truly were in a state of no self all the time you would have no problem to go straight to your father and tell him to shut the fuck up. And yes, you would do that. Enlightened people are not dead potatoe-sacks. Quite the opposite of that - they are alife!

In a sense you are creating that problem by seeing it as a problem. Your brother is not you. He is on his own way and he wants to be were he is. Appreciate that difference. Some people need misery and some people want life to suck a little bit. You love him and that's good. Just let him know that. But also respect his life, by thinking there is something "wrong" with him you are creating that reality. Your belief that you are "higher" manifests in your interactions with him which repulses him. See him as perfect as he is. Be open to helping him but only if he feels like he needs help / wants help. Realize that your brother does not need you in any way. If you died tomorrow the world would still keep spinning without you

Bro I already have my technique. Thanks for caring but I am currently not searching for new techniques. I am planning to continue doing the intervall-sessions because @Consilience - a really skilled meditator that I respect a lot gave me good reasons to think they are a good idea. I see the meditation journey as a long term process. Perfection gets in the way of the goal. Experimentation should be the main objective in the beginning, to see what works and what doesn't. Also you need a plan that allows you to implement the habit and stay consistent. My current plan seems to fulfill these pusposes which is why I will stick to it for now. Cheers.

Well I'm not that good in vizualization either. Spiritual work has nothing to do with vizualization. Find techniques that suit your strengths.
