All a crock. Sick of it. Peruse thread titles/questions. All philosophical questions or desperate faith. Because people think there's something secret that only enlightened masters can access. When it's right here. Fuck deviating from the absoluteness of the reality we are presented with. Fuck tales of pasts and futures and infinities. True or false it's just distraction from the undeniable and um-overwritable truth that is the reality around us. Everything aside from that is a crock of shit. Because again it might be true but in every case there's at least a tiny slither of possibility that it is not (e.g. the slight possibility the universe did not exist prior to last Tuesday and you just have a bunch of false memories, etc). There's no point in any of the probablys when there is a constant definitely. All the narcissist guru shit has drilled it into you that they have something different. You know, gotta trip at least 1000000 times to begin to be on their level. Propagating the idea that there is some other reality you can't access. That there's some secret little door you must open and go through before you see reality. Fuck that noise. This is it. You realize the severe ego death of a toad trip is just removing stories from what's there. It's not any different reality from what you have now. Just cuts off the stories of "I am here, I am seeing this". It's like a drug that simply shuts down your mind's ability to produce even a single thought. And you get some trippy visuals but whateva. -
A person has constant, around the clock, never ending access to reality. Even if they don't want it. But people cannot stop wanting stories instead. It's very difficult for us to actually see the reality that is here, without conjuring up thoughts of "God" or "the future" or "infinity". It is nearly impossible for a person to stop wondering about whether other people are sentient beings or just a kind of robot/zombie, what will happen to them next week or next year, whether there is a God. Intellectually twisting what is appearing to be. Many such things. All the while the only unarguable reality is in front of your face. The living room I'm in is present. No God anywhere to be found. The living room is appearing. No hypothetical tortures and evils and infinite sufferings, not some God thing. The living room is appearing. When people try to say they can't communicate insane insights etc, it just helps feed into the stories and imagination of something deeper than what is actually present and undeniable in front of you. You want to look for something deeper than or outside of that, and the flowery "spiritual" musings people share help feed into that belief that there is something to look for elsewhere. If anyone wants to know what 'is', cut the crap. Cut all ideas. You are staring it in the face. Stop trying to imagine something deeper or outside of your grasp. Don't add any input. Fuck adding the constant ideas of a self or God or infinity onto what is direct.

More like there's literally no doors and no secrets and no special levels of consciousness only gurus have reached. Even a housefly has complete total 100% access to reality, at all times. It's just spiritual ego bullshit. Everyone wants to pretend they have some special knowledge. You're just describing a DMT breakthrough really. During which reality has the same level of beingness as it does right now. There's no special secrets anyone has access to. What's in front of you is more real than any bullshit anyone tries to tell you. -

A lot of the guests on Joe Rogan's podcast seem like bullshit artists tbh. I've used Salvia a LOT and most of my friends have used it. Someone is in for a serious fright when they expect to go live 6 months as an Aztec warrior and instead the world collapses into a 2D flipbook and they're a tile on a neverending checkerboard being shredded with an ominous overtone that the universe is ending. Apart from Mike Tyson (who looked at Joe like "wtf" when Joe was claiming he smoked loads of toad and saw cool star shapes) and Hamilton, none of his guests seem to have trips anything even remotely similar to what every other person experiences with it. -

He's right though. Any wandering from the reality in front of you is make-believe. Examples of make-believe include: What happened yesterday, you being born, you dying, reality ceasing to exist, infinity, God, you (see: you are not found anywhere, only in the idea "I am seeing the world" etc). Jesus, Thor, Medusa. "Other perspectives". Many such things. It does not necessarily mean the make-believe is wrong. But it is genuinely just make-believe. I BELIEVE on FAITH that people suffered through wars etc. But none of that is "absolute truth" which is nothing but the undeniable appearance of whatever is appearing right now. Right now the absolute truth is the image of the trees and such I am looking out on. If I go drive down to the store, the trees will no longer be absolute truth, they will be a fairytale, and absolute truth then will be, I assume, aisles of food and clothing and w.e. else they sell. ANY deviation from basking in the sheer fact of whatever is appearing is deviating from "absolute truth" and veering into the land of makebelieve. Any word or sentence you try to put on it, any filter you try to pull over it any altered perception you try to enforce, is the land of fairytales and philosophy. -

I think people are psyching themselves up via stories and beliefs. People try to alter their perspective in order to see reality in a certain way (like how a drug will alter your perspective). Like trying to FORCE themselves to see something that isn't there. What's there can't be overridden. My bedroom is appearing here. I can't overwrite it. I can change around all sorts of stories added on top of it: I can psych myself up and try to enforce certain viewpoints. I can try to force myself to process it all "as oneness". I can try to force myself to see the TV on the wall as being made of atoms... But all of these filters made of thoughts that slide onto and off of the bedroom never touch the actual being-ness of it. Not gonna be duped into being told something is secretly there, or that what is there isn't really there. Tbh it might NOT really be there, but the appearing of it is absolute, and in the real sense of the word, not how it is often butchered where "absolute truth" is claimed as whatever the person's current delusion happens to be... It is ACTUAL absolute truth that whatever is appearing is appearing. It can't be circumvented... Why would anyone try to wrestle that into being something else via their ideas and such? -
RMQualtrough replied to Matthew85's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Obviously none of this is real. If a person thinks a dream isn't real then neither is this. -
RMQualtrough replied to RMQualtrough's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
There are no secret doors, no hidden knowledge, no secret realities, no secret levels of consciousness, none of that. There are no atoms in an image of a dog, the image of a dog is an image of a dog. It's direct like that... Just like that there are no secret hidden God or me entities. What's appearing is "absolute", it is undeniable that what's appearing is appearing, that is THE absolute truth and is always available. Many elements like God or me are nowhere to be found... Ideas of this, of death, of hell, it's imaginary stories on top of that... -
RMQualtrough replied to RMQualtrough's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
All of this type of teaching is born out of spiritual ego realistically speaking, nobody has access to anything more. There's not any secret knowledge, nobody has "more consciousness" or access to some other extra reality. It's made up bullshit stemming from sheer narcissism... In reality I don't find any me or any God anywhere and neither do you. I don't find myself being them, they're just elements which don't even exist except as ideas. People are just telling themselves these things are there (AKA adding some story on top of actual reality). -
RMQualtrough replied to RMQualtrough's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It's all bullshit and I'm legit not doing it anymore... I'm lying on my couch and looking at my TV. That's it. I'm done with the bullshit about God and infinity and anything else outside of what's in front of me that my mind or other people TELL me is "actually" in front of me... -
I moved city and house. My other house is very, very dark inside year round. My home city is completely devoid of any soul or character whatsoever... There is literally zero character, and literally zero soul... Everything is dark, mundane, samey, and without any hint of life. I'm setting up life at a home around the seaside areas I used to go to as a kid. My home is South facing, with french doors and windows at the front, so the Sun fills the living room all day every single day... The cities have character as they are not just generic, they have a seaside theme. Many of the people are "weird and wonderful", more variety. Like you might see people walking round in Iron Maiden tees. At my generic awful nothing hometown everyone is generic, like the generic vibe of the entire city, and the generic everything. I would just sit in my pitch dark house all day every day, because there was nowhere to go and nothing to do...

At the country club, or at Oxbridge/Yalevard universities. If you're upper class you'll just be out of place at ghetto bashes. Many places like Vegas and LA are ghetto people who got rich. I think Connecticut might be a good option.

Can you accept lack of acceptance? Can you accept a lack of acceptance of lack of acceptance? Can you accept this exactly as it is, completely? Can you accept not only the pain but the suffering associates with it? Can you accept this continuing and not changing? Can you accept your lack of ability to accept this? Can you literally just be. With absolutely anything and everything which may be. Including the inability to just be......

I think it happened, but it can never be as direct and absolute as the fact of this around me... "Absolute" meaning that it is undeniable. The past could potentially be a false memory, while the fact the current is as it appears to me now can't be false. Even if I'm schiz in a mental ward imagining this, the fact it is appearing is absolute and the only absolute truth ever available... I do think earlier today happened though. It's hard to imagine some elements of history aren't simply backlog, though. We live in such insane luxury, it seems barely possible that there were people in ancient Earth running round jungles. Nomsayin'... But yeah I think it all probably happened anyway. -

By the sounds of it, he enjoyed murdering people more than Ted Bundy or any other famous serial killer ever did. He seems to have had bloodlust like Nero and some other psychotic Roman emporers. -

The Quran is like fanfiction written by a teenaged boy. It's ridiculous. The beach is also true. Not anymore, because now it's a balcony and trees and the sound of the wind. But this is what truly is right now. No virgins and infinite lust. Everyone has direct and permanent access to reality. Everything outside of that is fantasy and fairytales. -
RMQualtrough replied to confusedman's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It's literally a book of fairytales. It's as genuine as Hansel and Gretel. Why read a book when reality is right here in front of your face? Man riding up into the clouds on a horse? I don't see it. What I see is a beach and sea and railings and promenade paving. I see some janitor dude in orange trawling along a dustbin. I see a memorial plaque on the bench I'm sat on. All of this is around me, I don't need fairytales about a man flying around on a horse. -
RMQualtrough replied to Razard86's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Razard86 Sure maybe I could drill it into myself? I just don't want to sound hypocritical discussing acceptance when I'm lying here in bed in air conditioned rooms and not in the rainforests of South America smuggling coke, lol. But I think yeah, that's the total release to freedom. When you can accept the LACK of acceptance. When you can accept suffering, and resistance, etc. If you can accept it without the sensations (or w.e.) changing. No desire for the bad feeling to go away, not doing anything to create a result. But also accepting the desire to do so and even accepting the self's attempts to do so. When I'm getting my teeth drilled, I must accept my lack of acceptance of the pain. I must accept that I'm NOT sat there all zen. And the feeling DOESN'T change, the pain doesn't go away, and my DESIRE for it to go away remains, and that's okay too... -

Of course not. LoA is just rogue egos: "I want ___". Of course it doesn't work. -
RMQualtrough replied to _Archangel_'s topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Seems very volatile to me tbh. Something similar I have considered lately though is the categorization of objects into different types of object, e.g. sight, sound, taste... As people are often afraid of what it will be like when they lose a sense like vision. The type of appearances are then different in quality, yet what is actually the difference between a sight and a sound as they happen, other than the way we choose to categorize them. Maybe that's a mistake, and maybe similarly there's not an "every object". That might just be the result of categorization like we do between sight and sound. "Object" might be infinite and eternal rather than "every object" as though there are multiple of them. And rather than "object" which implies subject, maybe just "reality". -
RMQualtrough replied to Razard86's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It is odd because people start meditation etc to "escape" whatever present situation they dislike. This forum/business is partially self help and that part is in direct conflict with this part. Gurus and life coaching and self help and even "spirituality", is driven by desire and lack of acceptance of a current situation. Pain too, all the meditative exercises to try to accept it, is itself driven by lack of acceptance. Like the refusal to accept severe shyness because of a deeper refusal to be romantically fucked, there's a refusal to accept the sensation of pain because of a deeper refusal to suffer... There are many things like that. When many people think of accepting pain, they are thinking like "I will make myself accept pain, so that the pain will go away", there's an objective of reaching something other than the present feeling. It's like when people during bad trips try to "let go" IN ORDER TO stop the terror. It is seemingly an action of surrender, but in actuality is more doing X to get Y. It's striving, desire, trying to get something or somewhere. Easy for me to say as I live in 5 star luxury. Much more challenging to accept living in poverty or with chronic health problems etc. I don't think I could do it. I definitely couldn't... -
RMQualtrough replied to Razard86's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Definitely acceptance is an important thing... I actually think self help is the literal exact opposite of what anyone should do. Very "Chinese finger trap". The more you try to change something the more you suffer... Many times the reason you must try is because failing will mean not getting something you desire. E.g. you CAN'T just be shy and stay that way because you might not get a girlfriend. There's a refusal there to accept the consequences OF the acceptance. But if you can accept both the trait AND the consequence, you are free... -

Don't know. It's fortunate though. I know all the airy-fairy people enjoy derealization, but strikes me immediately as horrifying... Any time it actually gets serious I regret having ever explored it and wish to forget. Always makes me feel like a retard and mad that I listened to people promising it will make life so great etc. finding myself in an inescapable state of dissociation. And fortunately it goes away. -
The fact of experience is undeniable. Even a delusional experience at least undeniably happened, or "appeared" rather. Experience ought to be impossible when there is no experiencER. So when the experiencer, when the conscious being completely vanishes, yet the "experienced" objects remain, it is completely impossible. It is so completely impossible that it should be impossible even as a schizophrenic psychotic break. There is no way this should even be possible to appear to a psychotic. It is impossible as both fact and impossible as illusion. And yet it is appearing. And the fact it is appearing is absolute and undeniable. Again, if a schiz maniac says there's a pink elephant floating in the room, that could be a delusion. But the fact that schiz maniac is seeing it, is absolute. And that is what happens. Like how the Sun doesn't need to be lit up by an external source, sights and sounds and all manner of things like that are illuminated AS THEY ARE. Alone. Completely self luminous. The qualia is what they are. The idea of me + red = redness is fake. Completely fake. There is just redness. Observed by nobody, by nothing. Illuminated is what it IS. Like the Sun.
