Poor guy, I don't understand why he takes such a whipping. If you Google his name he just can't catch a break from ANYONE. Even on his own forum? LOL like wtf? Why are people so mean to poor Leo? At least the memes are good. -

I differ in belief. I don't think you as God sees one perspective. I think you as God see 100% of existence simultaneously and all at once. So when you mention something like "you" living an infinite number of lives and not experiencing being human again, that is a misstep, because if you died right now, you as God are still experiencing 8 billion other humans on Earth. Killing a character in a dream does not kill the dreamer. There's no you to live another life in this context. There is only God which is living all lives at once. You literally ARE me and I literally AM you. I think your brain creates a "separate entity" with a sense of "confinement". It creates the experience of NOT being my brain by knowing thoughts are happening here which are different to the ones in your own brain. Though also within your own brain you do not know what your subconsciousness is thinking. We may feel separated within our own minds that way. -

@The0Self The sense of being sucked into the Now is an element of the experience with a lot of gravitas for me... The way all real life concerns vanish and all that then matters is "this". The drug terrifies me overall, over 50% of the time. But the other times gave me deep insight. I don't really get visuals as much as others, sometimes I have bizarrely had open eyed visuals and closed eyes is just black. So weird so unpredictable. Though I did get some great visual trips also. -

Oh just say this: You know with 100% certainty that you are conscious, you do not know with 100% certainty that the apparent external world is truly real, it could be a dream, a simulation, brain in a vat etc. Idealism is more logical because it proposes the 100% certainty (consciousness) is responsible for the <100% certainty. Materialism tries to propose that something less than 100% certain is responsible for the ONLY thing I can ever truly know exists. ... And then ofc ask if they think they actually SEE the object in front of them, or if it is the brain projecting an image of an apparent external world. Use dream logic a lot. Dreams are a great way to explain things to people as they are basically a microcosm of the exact thing we are trying to propose. Etc. -

It is possible they are talking about bufo toad venom when giving those dosages. 5-MeO-DMT in the purified form has a much lower threshold and appears very variable person-to-person. -

@Leo Gura Same. I've very rarely had the archetypal experience... Have you made a video describing an n,n-DMT trip (as opposed to 5-MeO)? -
Just consider momentarily, the idea that every living thing does indeed have its own consciousness, specific to it. Now imagine I take your consciousness and a bird's consciousness and swap them. What would happen? The answer is: Absolutely NOTHING. The bird's brain has only memories of being a bird, it is programmed to think only bird thoughts and engage in bird behaviour. How would your consciousness know it had ever been a human? The memory of being a human is in the human brain. Every human thought process is located in the human brain. Your personality is in the human brain... These things are gone now, you are now the bird... And you don't even know it had ever been different. The "dumb bird" is now in your human body and is as intelligent as you. It does not know it has ever been a bird, it does not know bird thoughts or bird behaviours. It literally IS you.

RMQualtrough replied to Karas's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Karas Great question. I hope the answer is yes, because it is easier to contend with one fundamental thing than two simultaneously. At T=0 everything exists instantly, but if we use a hypothetical "what came first", then one singular thing out of nothing (first and foremost) is a lot simpler... A yes like infinite energy/potential perhaps? There would be no "observer" in that state, only infinite energy. It becomes an observer when it folds in on itself creating a multidimensional mass? -

@roopepa You in fact won't die. It is funny, there is sort of some deep-seated idea that we cannot help, that once we "figure out reality" something like this happens: And then everything fades to black or the curtain comes down. In reality, "the answer" is just another thought and vanishes with every bit as much importance as the thought of what you want to eat for lunch. There is no prize and no reward LOL. You go back to "chopping wood" or w.e. that dude said. -

The best on Google is just: "Energy, in physics, the capacity for doing work. It may exist in potential, kinetic, thermal, electrical, chemical, nuclear, or other various forms." What do you think of that? In that regard my definition of God has infinite energy (potential). -
Simply, say there exists two experiences X and Y... When there is "experience of X", it concurrently creates the "experience of NOT being Y". When there exists "the experience of my self", that comes with the "experience of NOT being your self"... Take two hard drives on a computer. Drives only store data pertaining to themselves. The electricity running through the system (metaphor for awareness) experiences both drives simultaneously. When hard drive 1 exists like this, two things are generated: "being hard drive 1" and "NOT being hard drive 2". Even though the electricity is experiencing both drives at once, if the drives were somehow knowledgeable of each other's existence, then because the drives only store its own information and not the information stored on the other drive, it would create a sense of separation/self: "Experience of hard drive one" comes with a sense of individuality by necessity...

That is true. I also considered something else... If it is outside of Space then, again, division would be impossible because there is no space in which to separate something into! Like trynna fit 10 pixels into one pixel. It can't be done. -
RMQualtrough replied to sphinx's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Depends which you you're referring to. Awareness is God. God is having a dream. In this dream there are many different perspectives happening at once. Matter is part of God's dream. Your brain is part of the dream (it is matter so yeah). You aren't A God. You're THEEEE God. From the perspective of God there is no other. For example imagine dreaming up many characters while asleep. When you wake it collapses into one, just you. Take it up a level and that is what is happening. If God hypothetically woke from the dream we would all collapse into one. But because the dream is happening here we all are as little distinct characters. -

RMQualtrough replied to Ivan Dimi's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Ivan Dimi I'd say the human mind is finite, it is "God" which is infinite. We are sort of like AI made of and by God. But a human creating something as complex as even its own finite brain does seem to pose a problem... And if we succeeded, how could we truly know?! -
RMQualtrough replied to Ivan Dimi's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Ivan Dimi Hm I see what you mean... Uhm, I wonder if it could happen if more and more and more things were added like a katamari ball? Perhaps without needing conscious knowledge of the whole, simply building and building and building could eventually surpass the amount of processes happening in a human brain. For the movie, though, the robot only had to pass the Turing Test. That is the big finale twist, because you THINK it has human consciousness (it has passed the test), but then by leaving the guy in the bunker it displays that it in fact does not, and it was legitimately just following programming to deceive and escape. I found it to be a brilliant movie because the viewer is tricked exactly how the main character is. -

To an outside reader, you will want to use COMPLETELY dualistic terminology. When I explain my beliefs to people that is how I do so... Start at full-on dualistic terms and once each part is realized, strip down a layer of that onion. This is the only way a third party will understand wtf you are getting at. The quickest route usually involves utilizing dream logic. -

Spira is great. I must confess I put his videos on 1.5x speed because the pauses drive me nuts. I'd rather read when it comes to Rupert. -

The only thing I'm wondering, is if blue exists, does not-blue HAVE to exist? I suppose in infinity the answer is yes if not-blue is possible. Though in infinity every color comes about naturally and not by force from the existence of blue. I think it would only work with absolute binaries. Like existence and non-existence. Non-existence does not exist in this case, but there may be others. -
RMQualtrough replied to RMQualtrough's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Indeed, by "why" I meant it more in the sense of "how". Imagine momentarily that there is no such thing as consciousness, but there are brains. Your brain contains only information relating to "lmfao" (your username not the expression lol). It is inscribed into it that MY brain exists, and that it (your brain) is NOT my brain. Now when you run consciousness through it, the NOT being my brain is literally encoded into the experience of being "your brain". Telepathy etc should not be possible because it requires that you take some element of the lower self and enter another mind, and somehow bring something back. The supreme self is already in both minds at the same time, but memories etc. are only recorded for each "individual" brain, you see? Like hard drives only store data that is placed on the drive. Drive 1 has no clue what is on drive 2. Your brain has no idea what is going on in my brain when you look at me. But "I" (/electricity for the drives) IS in both. -
RMQualtrough replied to RMQualtrough's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@lmfao With consciousness being outside of time, it must have all existed at T=0, infinity years elapse instantly, all existence at once. So duality must have arisen at T=0. But this is I think the mechanism behind why that has to happen? The hard drives are the best analogy. When experiencing hard drive one, if it knows hard drive two exists (we are envisioning these to be sentient lol), then "experience of hard drive one" ENTAILS "not being hard drive two", it's part and parcel with the experience. Hence "why am I always in this body and returning to it, why don't I have the ability to possess other people and read their mind at will?" Well because you are trying to take the hard drive you and stick it into the other. It does not work that way. Only "I" (electricity here) can experience both things and in fact is. -
RMQualtrough replied to RMQualtrough's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Doesn't require it, creates the sense of it, and does so necessarily. If you know I exist here on the other side of the screen, but your ego can't telepathically read my mind, then there is the sense of duality. There is the sense of "I am on this end typing, and there is another on the other side of the world reading." Even if you know it is all "I", your ego self still cannot read my mind and so there is that "this is me, that is NOT me" split. It is like, there is not individuation because the "I" is different, there is individuation because the experience of individuation comes WITH "being self" by necessity. Like electricity running through two hard drives. Part of the experience of being yourself is the experience of being "NOT other"... So when people think "why am I confined to always being in this self?", it is because that exact sensation is part OF the "experience of you". In actual fact what you call "I" IS experiencing all life simultaneously, but your egoic self comes with that "I'm stuck here" setup by necessity, because the ego self is a hard drive not the electrical current. You can break the sense of duality ofc. Uhm. I know what I want to say but the technicalities are annoyingly precise and hard to navigate. -
RMQualtrough replied to Need Answers's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
But "I" also dreamed up myself so it all balances out lol. Earlier today I was stood at the bottom of a tall building, it was raining and windy with a clear blue sky. In that moment I realised that this grand structure and the sky which I felt so tiny next to was me. The rain and wind was me. Everything is me. But within me is many. There is wind there is rain there is joy there is sorrow there is identity there is memory. All of existence... You and I... We are just essentially sentient thoughts. Exactly as it is in a dream, from one is the appearance of many. "Qualtrough" and "Leo" are fictitious and yet here they are... I do not find it lonely really for the fact that these puppets of consciousness do exist and have the sense of individuality. If we are feeling lonely then we are stuck in the puppet still (a good thing IMO) because the One does not feel loneliness except through these puppets. -
RMQualtrough replied to RMQualtrough's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Hm. If X existed alone, there'd not be anything else which could be perceived as other. It would be more of a hypothetical other? But with apparent selves we have something to contrast against and say: "Hey, here is me and there is that other thing which exists which is not me". Within our own minds too. If we identified with each emotion individually (like each is a different ego) we might say "I am happy. Over there is sadness and I am not that." But if only happy existed there'd be no "sad" to point at and say "look, there's something different from me!" So I think perhaps the real duality begins when a singularity contains multiple different things like red and blue for example. Otherwise the proposed duality is only a hypothetical, like existence creating "not NON-existence". But there is no non-existence to locate and feel different from.
