  1. Stress levels definetly affect hair loss. I think its because it raises cortisol and makes testosterone convert to dht. Nascent Iodine (not potassium iodide) is good for hair. That's why japanese people say to eat seaweed for good hair. Google zix formula, it's a topical you can make yourself consisting of zinc sulfate and p5p (a b vitamin) in alcohol and water. Reduces dht in the scalp.
  2. That's stans protocol. Of course it's done under professional guidancs.
  3. The thugs were not commanded or influenced to do anything, it was just the right time and place for the kamma to ripen and they happen to be the instrument to enact that kamma. The thugs did what they did because their own unwholesome mindsets not because they were made to do anything; so the thugs took on their own bad kamma because of their own actions, especially because it was done towards someone with high virtue, an arahant. Kamma has no will of its own, it just is. So if you encounter bad experiences in your life, don't blame the person you think brought it upon you. They are just acting as the vehicle of kamma and the time and place was just right for your own kamma to ripen. So everything, good and bad that happens to us is by our own doing, our own past kamma. That is why the Buddha says "we are the bearers of our own burden." No one does anything to us but ourselves.
  4. Buy them if you like to know background info. If you just want the practical info it's like this: 300-500mcg is his recommended dosage. He considers this high dosage and helps remove inhibitions some people who are strongly resistant to releasing traumas may experience. Use an eyemask and listen to specially catered playlist, such as psilocybin playlist by mendel keaten. There's more just use Google. Or mapsofthemind website they got a good post with playlists. Helpful to have a sitter or therapist with you. We'll actually obviously all this is done with a therapist if you want the full experience since they can help you integrate.
  5. Megaspore is good. Normally you take the version more targeted towards sibo, restorflora, also by same company microbiome labs. Megaspore is like more of a daily maintenance rather than heavy hitter.
  6. not always. for example when venerable moggalana was beaten by thugs and had every bone in his body shattered because of past life bad kamma, he was able to use his psychic powers to temporarily mend his body and tell the Buddha he will take final nibbanna because he does not wish to live in this body anymore. Doing so he was able to escape any further ripening of his bad kamma.
  7. use specially formulated playlists instead of leaving everything to chance. https://mapsofthemind.com/2019/10/30/6-music-playlists-psilocybin-journeys/ has some good recs. wear an eye mask and headphones to completely immerse yourself for inner work.
  8. Wim Hoff or soma breath breathing exercises. It definetly can give a sense of euphoria when you do the retentions. It's quite palpable if your doing it right. Supplementing NAC while going through withdrawl helps A LOT.
  9. I tried https://thegoodinside.com/pbx-trial-offer-806516/ when I saw an ad from a podcast I listen to. I just canceled the subscription after I got the bottle. You can always try and see if you feel any difference.
  10. Zeolite is inherently dirty because it binds so well with heavy metals, but there are processes that can be used to clean the zeolite, freeing up the binding sites. You can ask the company for a coa, certificate of analysis, to see the levels of mercury lead arsenic and compare it to safe levels. Bentonite may be a safer alternative. Not as strong, but not as dirty either.
  11. Probiotics can most definetly be beneficial in treating sibo. I was talking about PREbiotics being usually counterproductive. They usually worsen gas and bloating. Sibo isn't easy to treat of course, but a well planned protocol works wonders. It's not as simple as just take this and your healed, but it isn't as insidious as people make it out to be; it's just the lack of a good protocol and not sticking with it long enough makes people relapse and then they usually say "this didn't work for me" when its just that they didn't stick with it for the correct duration.
  12. Careful of prebiotics. They feed sibo. Only when your clear of sibo should you slowly reintroduce. Remember sibo is an overgrowth of bad AND good bacteria. They're just in a place they don't belong - the small intestine. I think people who took natural antibiotics and not have it work for them is because they just took random ones or they didn't take it long enough. Sibo is not that hard to treat when tackled in a methodical approach. If you just take this or that for a month or two and your not healed so you stop, this usually won't work. I always recommend the book healthy gut healthy you as a good breakdown on how to treat sibo.
  13. I find many people who take psychedelics have the same experience; I'm already enlightened, we're all already enlightened there's no reason to work for it anymore. This may be why many mystics, ascetics, yogis, monks all warn against intoxicants. While it may give you a glimpse of beyond the veil, people tend to think once they get a peak then there is nothing left to experience, but it's only that, a glimpse. Like looking through a window, but not actually walking through the door. It's kind of like reverse psychology. Delusion will make you want to stop striving for Truth, but you must overcome it and truly realize the Truth for what it is.
  14. Nice I'll check out those forums. I doubt fasting would have too much impact since the heavy metals are lodged in the organs and brain. The reason they get stuck in organs, bones, brain is because they have molecular structures similar to minerals we need like magnesium. If your body is deficient in a mineral, it will take up the heavy metal as a replacement. If your fasting your not taking any minerals, so I don't see why the heavy metal would leave its area. Microdosing probably won't mess with the chelation. But chelation makes your body tired so just be aware while your microdosing.
  15. "action" is more of a yogic type of belief in karma. but karma as "volition" is more buddhist. That is why even the actions of fully enlightened beings do not create more karma; because there is no volition behind the actions.
  16. Karma is the only thing that is real. Everything else is illusion. When you attain enlightenment your actions no longer create karma, and thus you will no longer be reborn; in this way you can be free from suffering
  17. The no carb thing or low fodmap thing is kind of an old theory. Nowadays people say don't limit fodmaps and carbs because starving these bad bacteria just make them go into hiding so your killing supps don't work as efficiently. So just eat healthy and take antimicrobial at the same time. I always like combo antibac herbs instead of 1 or 2. I recommend fc cidal and dysbiocide combo, or apex energetics gi synergy. You can also check out Michael ruscios website and book healthy gut healthy you. His site also has the supps in a good protocol if you don't want to customize it yourself. You need to take the supps for 3-4 months for full benefit. Each round you kill maybe 25% only, so you need to keep at it for a few rounds. I'd switch antimicrobial every month. It also dramatically boosts effects if you fast for 3-4 days then start antimicrobial. This way you starve all bacteria good and bad down, then when you eat again you incorporate antimicrobial to keep the bad suppressed, rather than trying to start killing them when they're at their full strength. I've found this speeds up results personally, dr ruscio also talks about this but he uses some no fodmap simple carb powder shake you drink for 5 days, but fasting is free.
  18. Amalgam illness is the more comprehensive book. Mercury detox manual is written by a student of cutlers and is a simplified approach to make it easier for people to just jump into it without wanting to know all the tiny details. Both are fine.
  19. in theravada buddhism, when you die you are instantly reborn again a moment later. there are different realms; lower realms like asura, hell, ghost, animal realms. There is the human realm, then there are higher realms like devas and brahma realm. Your last mind moment determines which realm you are born in. Your karma determines the "quality." For example, if you had much anger in your final mind moment, likely you will be reborn in the lower realms like animal realm. If your karma is good enough, you may get to live a life of comfort, like a house cat. If your karma is not so good, you may live as prey and in fear of your life. On the other hand, if you have enough good karma you can be born in the deva realms, the realms of sensual pleasure. Or if you die while in the Jhanas, you can be reborn in the Brahma realm, beings without gender who live for thousands of years. If you develope Jhanas you can look back to previous lives and verify this for yourself. But whatever you do, try to fill your life with wholesome thoughts, words, and actions. Because when you dont have concentration, you cannot control where your mind wanders in your final moments. If it lands on some unwholesome thought or memory, then chances are your next life isnt going to be so peaceful.
  20. find a hobby, a job, a goal, a purpose, go camping for 2 days without your cell phone. you have too much free time so instagram and youtube consume you. theres a scientific reasoning such as the stimulation of dopamine centers in the brain when you browse social media or the internet in general. your bored so you go on the internet, a lot of the stuff is boring also, but you get that 1 video or 1 instagram post that makes you laugh, desire, or arouses passion, this stimulates your dopamine centers, the reward, you feel good for that short while, then you go back to browsing boring/mundane things until you get your next stimulation, the next high. and it repeats. studies have found if people watched something or read something that was consistantly funny, interesting, or engaging, they would grow bored and go do something else. but if you only get that satisfying feeling once in a while, it creates addiction. always looking for the next high. so you cant leave the internet. if you cant control yourself keep your browsing to a certain amount of time a day, you can forcibly reset this addiction cycle by cutting yourself off for a few days. its probably easier if you take a vacation or go camping without your cell phone. after a few days you will break the cycle, like a breath of fresh air, and itll be easier to control yourself afterwards.
  21. so someone on youtube went to a sleep clinic to test his sleep cycles to compare it to the oura ring worn at the same time. the conclusion was something like its only accurate 60% of the time. for example the sleep clinic measured deep sleep at 1 am, the oura ring would only get this right 60% of the time. there are more accurate sleep monitors, i think even the fitbit was shown to be more accurate. and oura ring is not useful for daily activities really. its basically a pedometer during the day time, you dont get any hrv or anything unless you take a "moment" which requires you to be still for 10 minutes. many people just wear it at sleep time, thats what i do. its nice to see a daily hrv score though so you can see trends on how your body is doing. for sleep monitoring its helpful just for verification like, ok i did sleep poorly thats why im feeling not well rested today. If you slept poorly youll usually know by how you feel the next day, but its nice to get quantification like "THIS is how bad you slept" and can compare it day by day or week by week to see what adjustments help, like magnesium before bed, blue blocking glasses, etc. the only reason i would get it over any other device is because the airplane mode at night, and it doesnt emit a green LED. some people believe even green/blue light on the skin can affect melatonin production, and even more esoteric is that green/blue light will modify the bodys physiology from frequency therapy type reasons so having green light shone on your body all the time may disrupt natural biological processes. This is a bit "whoo" but i believe it, so thats the only reason why i would use a oura ring over much cheaper alternatives. its definetly not worth the 330 price tag out of box.
  22. use the Andy Cutler Chelation: Safe Mercury and Heavy Metal Detox FB group. they recommend hair test not urine test. If you get the right hair test (not all are the same) and post in that group, they will help you analyze it according to Andy Cutlers guidelines to see if your toxic in metals.
  23. charcoal has a lot of binding sites thats why it can be used for such a long time. Charcoal works through ADsorbtion not ABsorbtion. That means things cling to it, not get absorbed into it, so you can even boil it to release all the stuff and reuse. you can just soak water in those sticks but it takes a long time. if you go get a cup of pond water and put some charcoal granules, it will go from cloudy to clear within a few days. berkey filters arent cheap but you can go for 3 years or longer without changing the charcoal filters which are literally just huge solidified cylinders of charcoal infused with silver as an antimicrobial.
  24. i think the sleep on left side is only if you eat before bed. usually laying on the back is the best posture for sleep. and if you cant do that the right side is better because its supposed to activate parasympathetic nervous system which is better for sleep and recovery.
  25. i have an emf meter and whenever the microwave is on that thing blasts through the roof. i know people who just stare at their microwave while its heating their food and its definitely not something you want to be exposed to.
