  1. Hi guys! I’m 24 and have had T1D for 20 years now. I really enjoy working out and feeling fit, but I have been struggling a lot lately with low energy. This not only makes it hard to feel motivated to work out, but even when I do work out, I feel sleepy and sluggish during and am not performing at my full potential. My A1C is in the 6s, I sleep more than 8 hours every night, I drink TONS of water every day, try to keep a healthy diet, my blood sugars are well controlled, and my blood work is all normal. Honestly, I am at a bit of a loss here. Does anyone else struggle with chronic low energy? What do you do to energize yourself when you need a boost?
