Why you discriminating against non-standard frequencies, bruh? Microtonal music can be good. And btw, in the distant past people didn't have recorded music, and perfect pitch basically didn't exist. People have always relied on relative pitch for music. Specific frequencies were never measured, and never relied upon. How would peasants in the dark ages know the difference between 370hz and 371hz? They'd just take a flute and play a tune. -

And a christian would tell you it's not a Jinn possessing them, it's Lucifer or something. Everyone will have different ideas about this. So are you saying they're non-physical being who can take over our physical bodies, or are they aliens, flesh and blood, like us? You believe in creationism? You don't accept evolution, and believe humans were designed, and reproduced from just 2 original humans? -

If humans exist, then aliens are likely to exist too. Jinn though.. they're not even physical beings, they have no reason to exist here. They're not part of our universe, and don't exist here. Everything written about them is just fear mongering nonsense. This alone should tell you they're made up. They have no proper back-story, nor a proper definition or reason for their alleged existence. Just vague ideas with no consistency across different cultures. You don't even hear anyone outside the middle east talking about them. -

lol, "Jinn" and "life on other planets" are not the same thing. -
Get out of there while you still can. They'll eat you alive, and any brain cells you have left.

I don't think it's possible to help much. Just don't push him, make him feel safe, entertain his ideas, and that's it really. It takes time for the intellect to mature.

Why look for aliens? Because of statistics saying it's unlikely earth is unique in the universe (and because they're basically confirmed at this point by Bob Lazar). SD, just like MBTI, Enneagram, and Socionics, is not my religion, and not my belief. I can throw them away the moment something better comes along. And I recognize their flaws. I use many models as no single one is perfect. This is the opposite of how religion works. Religion = "this is the one and only truth because that's what the authority says. All else is false. I am permanently closed off to outside ideas". Me = "SD is flawed, MBTI is flawed, Enneagram is a bit dumb, but I use them all where appropriate as that's the best we have at the moment. I fully expect something better to replace these models in the future." -

Exactly. I'll add, experiment with black magic, and experiment with the placebo effect. See if there's any difference. -

I often view the world through the lens of SD, but that in no way means I "believe" it. The moment a better model comes along, I'll jump ship. I also view the world through the lens of MBTI, Enneagram, Socionics, etc. but obviously I don't "believe" there are 9 or 16 personality types out there. They're models. They have their uses. Magic being practiced for a long time doesn't add to its validity. People of the past weren't exactly smart. The dying beliefs from back then are dying for a reason. -
We'll see if you still say "it's ok, we're all only human" after you get banned because a mod was in a bad mood.

Bold of you to post on my thread after giving me warning points..

Street interviews?? Someone's been watching too many Czech videos? Fix your confidence, and stop paying for sex. That's unhealthy for your mindset. Get drunk or something if it helps approaching girls. Get experience with being your confident self. If you go to the gym there's no reason you should be skinny. What are you even going to the gym for? To look better and have more confidence? Then you better be eating at least 2500 calories a day, 100g protein, and lifting 2-3 times per week, or you're wasting your time.

When y'all move to Tier 2, basically. The solutions are there. Americans could've voted for Andrew Yang, but they didn't. Would've been the start of something good. But the american people have to change first, and for that they have to want change. -
Tom Nicholas?!?!?

Indeed. That place is nothing but an echo chamber of hate. No quality content to speak of.

One is a belief system based on hearsay. The other is a model describing patterns in human behavior. Yes, one is less dogmatic than the other. No one "believes" in Spiral Dynamics. You learn it, and then see if real life matches the descriptions. Try this before judging people who recognize its value. -
Perhaps you'd benefit from learning about the Buddhist perspective. An intellectual understanding of the world isn't seen as important to them. You become "enlightened", you "get it", and then you help others do the same. What else is there? What would you gain from working on harder and harder intellectual problems? Some dopamine hit? Feeling proud of yourself? It's all a distraction. This is what you realize at the highest level of development.

Show me At what stage then do we transcend the intellect then? It's unhealthy to live from the intellect, and Yellow is prone to this. People like Sadhguru have clearly outgrown their intellect and don't try to impress people with the number of books they've read or anything like that. Again, Turquoise isn't "Yellow, but like 10x more books read".
-
Careful with Carl, he's got some controversial views on Turquoise which I, and Leo, disagree with. imo, "transcending the mind" does, very accurately, describe the main thing Turquoise is known for. It's a long road to get there from Yellow, but you start by having "moments" of transcendence. Moments of preferring the ""Turquoise state"" over the ""Yellow state"" (for lack of a better term). For me, there are periods when it's easy and comes naturally, and periods when it just doesn't happen as often. The easiest way I've found to determine if I'm more closely aligned with Yellow or Turquoise in the moment is by just seeing how active I am on the forum. The Turquoise me doesn't care about the forum at all, and it just seems like a waste of time. Feels like intellectual masturbation. Nothing to gain here. Even if I somehow improve my understanding of things by being here, it's of no value. All I need can be found within, but sometimes I "lose it" and come back here for pointless dopamine hits. In "Turquoise mode", I am so happy and content being completely alone, with no media or stimulation. The moment I start to write, the intellect engages and the perfection of silence is broken. Turquoise people can often feel euphoric for no reason. As Sadhguru says (paraphrasing) "every cell in my body is bursting with joy/happiness 24/7". That said, I've done psychedelics many times, I've been doing spiritual work for a long time, and I'm much faster at this than most people. If you're really at Yellow, that's impressive, but statistically unlikely. Especially if you didn't go through a "super-spiritual" period at stage Green. But I only skimmed through your post.

You're not listening. Black magic is just a term meaning "negative manifestation". Anyone can do this with no skill. Everyone does this unconsciously through negative self-talk or beliefs. Black magic isn't something different or unique, it's the same thing. If you took a placebo pill and believed it would curse you, that's "black magic", and it would work just like black magic because it's the same thing! Yes, it's boring compared to the world of "demons and black magic", but it's reality. The reason the truth doesn't sound exciting is because it's real and ordinary. Never thought I'd find Purples on this forum?? -
thisintegrated replied to itachi uchiha's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
mate, do you even know what black magic is? It's just another word for intent, or manifestation. I can use any kind of magic on you right now, and you can do the same on yourself. It's a universal force, you have as much control over it as your "uncle". Stop mystifying everything just to make it seem "cool" and "spooky". Think about it. If the world ended and civilization started again from nothing, would "black magic" forever be lost? Of course not, that's retarded. All black magic books and shit are just tools. They're not fundamental and if they were forever lost it wouldn't matter in the slightest. Same goes for your "jinn". They only exist in whatever form you experience them in. They can only exist through you, like a rock, or a thought. They're not real, in and of themselves. -
