I think you're underestimating just how much data you'd need for this. Even GPT-4 will be nowhere near powerful enough to determine "INTx" from seeing someone's profile pic, or determine "Fe" from their "attitude". You'd have to explicitly teach the algorithm what each function does, and give millions of examples, and explain how they relate to each other. Just letting AI "go at it" won't produce any meaningful information.I predicted 3 people in this thread, and was off by a letter at most (okay, 2 in one case). And that's with just a few sentences for data. Much better than chance. With people I've seen on camera or IRL, of course, it's more like 90%+ accuracy. And I've not typed anyone in over a year, so there are far better "typists?" out there than me. I won't argue with someone's who's not even studied functions. I have experience with every model out there, and MBTI/Socionics are by far the most useful to know, with by far the greatest predictive power. MBTI, with the 4 letters alone, is maybe about on par with Big 5. With the 16 functions though, you can't even compare the two. Have you heard of Socionics? Did you incorporate that into your data? How well read are you on it? I don't think anyone would argue that "there's no such thing as introversion and extroversion". Yet your algorithm couldn't even identify something this obvious and well accepted in society. First maybe try to identify I vs E, and then consider moving onto the more abstract concepts that even humans need time to grasp.

So even VR wasn't enough to make you understand how it's just data? Buy an Oculus Quest 2. Might help you. If you could connect your brain to a machine that sent you visual data, auditory data, and all other data to fill your 5 senses, and it would be 100% indistinguishable from real life, would you then understand how reality is just data? The only difference would be a belief that there is a brain somewhere in a physical world. In physical life, have you ever experienced anything other than your brain's interpretations of signals from your senses? Of course not. You can never experience anything outside your mind. You've lived your entire life in your mind. Now once you get this, it's not so much of a stretch that the whole physical word doesn't exist. Why would it? There's no way you can actually ever check. You've been inside your mind, inside your consciousness, your entire existence. There's nothing else. And even if there was, it wouldn't exist in any way, share, or form! In what form would it exist if you don't have your senses, nor a brain to interpret them? Knowing that your entire life you've just been inside your mind, and there's nothing outside your mind, why would there be anything outside? Where did you get this idea from? You started existence from within your imagination, so at what point did this idea of "other" appear? You just accepted it. All there is is the sense data you've had all you life. Everything else is a belief you've just accepted, because, seemingly, everyone around you accepted them too. Shit. I think I've scared @WokeBloke He's not been back since I've posted this??? -

Yes, you are God. But to me, you're nothing but text on a screen. There's no way for me to see if you're real. All you can ever be to me is pixels, or data from any of my other senses. Solipsism solves every problem, with the fewest assumptions, with the fewest paradoxes, if any. There is no better model of reality. It even solves time travel, magic, manifestation, sci-fi stuff, etc. literally every problem you could imagine. -

Why do you disagree? And why would solipsistic ideas hurt anyone here? If solipsism is wrong, the truth will come out eventually, and it's just a thought anyway. It can't hurt anyone. And those who realize that solipsism is true will just enjoy god-realization. It's either a dumb idea, and won't hurt you, or it's the truth, and you'll enjoy realizing it. -

That's why he's considering charging $1000 for his next course, and why he deleted his solipsism video. People like you are ruining his content for everyone else. If you're scared of Actualization, why are you even here? What do you hope to gain? If you stay here any longer, you may accidentally discover something scary. You have almost a thousand posts on this forum, what have you been doing this whole time? Have you just been complaining and not learning anything? -
Are you sure? I don't see the Ni, but I do see the Si and Ne as you'd find in an INTP. The only thing from an INTJ that could make sense is the Te and Fi. How did you conclude what your type is? INTJs are insecure about their inferior Se, and how they are perceived. I don't see this from your writing style. In fact, I see the opposite. You're also agreeable, and open to new abstract ideas, which is uncharacteristic of an INTJ. Well in case you're actually an INTJ.. you're still an INTp in Socionics (NiTeSiFe-SeFiNeTi)?? Edit: Actually, according to the Socionics interpretation of Ni, you're definitely Ni. Although I think Socionics is the superior model, I don't use it much as it gets super confusing using both models, and the world has made MBTI the standard model.

I see Ti, Ne, Si. Interested in abstract ideas and open minded (Ne) Makes many mental connections from any given input (Ne) Logical (kinda) (Ti) Doesn't take anything seriously; half the posts are a joke (Si) Historical focus/interests (Si) More responding than initiating (INTP over ENTP) Profile pic gives off INTP vibes (INTP) No examples of Fe (INTP over ENTP) No examples of Se. A complete blindspot (INTP) When your posts look like: I can't be sure, and ENTP is a possibility.. but I'll say you're an INTP.

It's your 4th function that you should focus on improving, called the inferior/vulnerable function. It's the weakest part of you that's "you". By developing it, you're just becoming a better version of who you are and always will be. The 4th function will always be coming up in your life as it's something you always use, so it's good to develop it. But sure, you can improve anything you spend time using. To make a function happy you can also just make the function it's paired with happy. iirc, functions go +-+- +-+-. The 1st & 4th are connected, and so are the 2nd & 3rd. It's the same for the shadow functions. The negative functions can be unstable and easily triggered, but by making the connected positive function happy, you make them both happy. By making the child function feel safe and happy, the parent function can relax as it knows its child is safe. And by making the hero function feel safe and happy, the inferior function can relax.

This would be critical Fi. Meaning you are critical of people's personal views/beliefs/feelings. So yeah I guess INFJ does fit you.
-
Did you just guess that? lol, go back a page, I posted my type when @no_name asked.
-
INTPs have Fe, which is partly why I suspected you may be an INTP. By saying things like "Sorry to keep bugging you", you're demonstrating a focus/awareness of someone else's mood. I didn't consciously notice, I just get a feel for Fe/Fi, most of the time. Also, xxFx types rarely engage in long Ti-heavy theory/debate, without some emotional cause. They may talk about ideals, what's right, someone's feelings/experiences, and may use Ti to support all this, but rarely do they go all in on Ti for Ti's sake.
-
haha, okay that makes sense. I never think of INFJs as Ti users as usually it's their Fe nature that comes through more strongly. It's an uncommon type. Most of the time, xxFx types don't show their Ts very much, and xxTx types don't show their Fs very much.

It's like a dozen people making all the posts here, lol. Did something happen? Did people lose interest in actualizing? Is everyone watching the Russia news? As there's no "meta" category to put this in... Yes, this is a video request?
-
It's possible. All I know for sure is you're an NT. I did consider INTJ, but INTJs are Te users, and are typically more "goal-oriented", not caring about theories or discussions without a specific end-goal. INTJs, INTPs, and ENTPs are often mistaken for one another, and need more examination than most other types.. You could be an INFJ, but your Ti would seem too active for an INFJ.
-
INTPs have Ni in their "Critical Parent" function slot. Ne sees many possibilities, and Ni narrows them down to "the one truth". From what I saw in your post about Russian TV propaganda, it looked like Ni. Ask anything you want. I don't mind.

Strong NATO = Ukraine's allies are stronger. And the Russian offensive is more likely to be limited to just Ukraine. Weak NATO = Ukraine gets little help from allies. And since Russia's gonna be suffering sanctions anyway, why not draw up plans for an invasion into the baltics and finland too? If the Ukraine invasion goes well, then it's a good opportunity to invade other places too. Also, a stronger NATO is more likely to be able to let Ukraine join NATO. If NATO was e.g. 10x stronger, they could let Ukraine join and Russia's opinion wouldn't matter. But as NATO is only slightly more powerful than Russia, it's too much of a provocation, and NATO has to take into account Russia's feelings. If NATO was made any weaker, then it would have to be even more careful not to anger Russia, and may even have to give in to any Russian demands. -
lol, this thread isn't about cognitive function, but about cognitive functions. Maybe make a thread about this with some more info about your problems.

I'm an ENTP 7w8 You're an NT of some kind. Maybe an INTP if I was to guess. You use a lot of Ti, Ne, and Ni. Nemesis Te and Critial Ni seems to fit you?♂️ Every function has its place. It's just sometimes annoying debating Ti-to-Te. Logic won't matter to the Te user if it goes against the words of some perceived authority figure. The only way to convince Te is by offering sources and citations, but the Ti user just wants to "logic-it-out" with you, treating it like a sport. Hence the disappointed reaction Tis have to Tes.

Well now you know.. -
I think OP is asking for permission to build his own. maybe tone down the simping, man.. omg.. I wouldn't even defend myself this fiercely.

?

I think the same logic applies. A broken system is a broken system. It's like how the CCP allows some people to use a VPN, but if they don't like what you say about them they'll jail you for using a VPN. Such a system gives the CCP way too much power.
-
I mean, back when I was a kid I used to get INTP and INTJ scores ! Tests are bad
-
So you want to live in the kind of world where tax evasion is just standard practice because the system is so shit? I'd say the practice is just an indication of a broken system. Be a bit more ambitious and don't settle for something broken.
-
You're not really supposed to use tests.. they're all bad. Only normies with zero interest in psychology actually use them..
