  1. Cats are more calm and gentle than Reds, but does that make cats more advanced? Are cats really Turquoise? Cats just don't have the awareness to have Red motivations. Purples are the same. It's not that Purples decide against violence, the thought just never occurs to them.
  2. Careful not to "believe" anything anyone here answers.
  3. Not at all surprised. That's just the kind of person he is.
  4. @BuddhistLover, the emotional artist, the compassionate idealist, the... accountant, 9-5 office worker?!?!
  5. Abstract math is more Ti, simple math is more Te, I would think. Te is more about management of numbers or organization of numbers, which I would imagine is what's needed in accounting. Ti is more about contemplating on how to solve a hard problem. Interesting. Maybe you're an INFJ after all?
  6. INFJ was actually my first thought, but then I saw you're an accountant and I can't imagine an accountant INFJ?‍♂️ Accountancy is very T heavy (especially Te), and Te is a blindspot for INFJs (7th function). INFJs are "idealists", so accountancy is rarely their career of choice. I'm an ENTP.
  7. Do you know what your type is??
  8. Nuttin
  9. No stimulation = it's just poetry I do enjoy epic music in epic moments in stories, but epic music is inherently stimulating. Dark, deep, in minor or with accidentals, usually. I also like intense/unique emotion in music, but that's also only good because intensity (of any kind) is inherently stimulating.
  10. Not really. If you became twice as good at math, would you have any more love? Actually, the better at math you are, the easier it becomes to get distracted from love/awakening. You might dedicate your life to programming or chess or something if you're too good.
  11. But debate is good sport, and very healthy for the mind. We should disagree, debate, and try to find the truth. And if being doubted makes someone angry, that's great! Every opportunity to fix ego problems should be welcomed. When two mature people debate, it's fun! It's really disappointing when someone refuses to debate, and just pretends to agree. It's rude and just creates distance and mistrust. Very rarely is "my truth" different to someone else's "truth". There may be many different perspectives, but truths are objective. "killing is wrong" and "killing is right" may, by some, be considered "personal truths", but they're just perspectives, with the objective truth here being "it depends", followed by a long essays, as the truth is usually complicated.
  12. You must learn to not be dependent on these things. If you always had them you'd never have a reason to aim for independence, which is the only way to achieve true, unconditional, happiness.
  13. Stimulation. That's literally the only reason I listen to music. Couldn't care less about whatever the artist wants to "say", or what emotions they expect me to "feel". I want music, not some teen's melodramatic/edgy poetry about love.
  14. Great advice. ENTJ 8w7 This is the most ENTJ 8w7 thing I've ever seen.. lmao (@Carl-Richard, since you wanted examples..) So woke, yet so asleep
  15. I think they're only Blue by their own personal interpretation of the model, which differs slightly to the Guraean version. A Blue isn't likely to be interested in such models, let alone be the creator of one. afaik, the people who came up with it simply catalogued distinct stages people seem to go through. Maybe they really are Blue, maybe their understanding of the model is limited to just their direct observations. Maybe that's why they don't create SD resources themselves or talk about it at all. It's possible they don't even understand their own model?‍♂️ So if the Blue creators don't feel confident enough tackling the subject, why should any other Blues? Anything in particular? I've seen some of his gym / pick-up stuff, but they're meant for Oranges and should only be judged from an Orange standpoint.
  16. So Elon should start another company to work on something more serious? Might wanna have a look at how many companies he already has??
  17. INTJ (Probably an older, more mature one) Ni - as seen in your life advice to others Te - your accounting degree Fi - speaking from your own personal feelings; big focus on individual empowerment.
  18. You know we need advancements in rocket tech, right? So far, ~99% of "Mars investment" has really just gone into rocket development. If you want to fight climate change or whatever, then you better plan for Mars, as that's how you end up with the need for resusable / eco-friendly rockets. Without a need, nothing will happen. If we pump enough money into "Mars projects" then maybe we'll even have electric rockets within the century, and then suddenly everyone will be praising Elon as a genius visionary. Rockets will replace private jets the moment the tech is ready. Stifling rocket development is definitely not a good idea.
  19. First time I see someone else here mention UBI. You're right, but going to Mars isn't exactly pointless. Going to Mars requires cheap, reusable rockets and being able to mass produce cheap housing with dirt as the (potential) main building block. These are very high priority technologies for people on Earth that are now getting fast tracked thanks to Elon's Mars plan. 3D printed housing is also now getting much more attention thanks to Elon. Moreover, city planning on Mars has to be perfect, and will eventually result in Earth cities being better planned, following Mars' example. City planning is a complete disaster on Earth, just look at the suburbs in the US. Crazy efficient hexagonal communities will become accepted/adopted here too once they become a thing on Mars. And it's not like by going to Mars we're sacrificing anything on Earth. SpaceX spending ain't gonna have any impact on inflation or whatever.
  20. It's self-destructive. Two devils will not produce much as they won't cooperate. They will get out-competed by those who are productive.
  21. It's all the same. Nothing is really unique. You will learn the same things no matter what you study. Good at music composition = good at art composition = good at scene composition in films = good at business management, etc. How? Well, for example, if you start with music, you may learn about the importance of maintaining a tonal centre, and if you ever went into film directing / story telling this understanding will translate into the protagonist being the focal centre the story keeps returning to. In music you may also learn about sonic texture and contrast, so when drawing a landscape you'll automatically have an in-depth subconscious understanding of how to use color to convey an emotion/idea. If you see a painting you don't like, you know you also won't like the artist's music as the music won't be any different from their art. It's all the same, so whatever format you choose to work in / study doesn't really matter. You're really just exploring your own mind. No matter what you choose to do, you'll keep coming to the same realizations and the same ideas. This is why it's good to pursue everything. The sooner you see it's all the same, the sooner you'll progress to stage Yellow.
  22. Expanding vocabulary isn't optional. Sure you don't always need to use big words, but there must be something in your routine that expands your vocabulary. Otherwise, you'll spend decades using English every day yet not progress even a single year in terms of English proficiency. ..you actually come to know it all, if you play arrogant long enough? The best liars can make the lie come true.
