  1. I feel like you disagree just to disagree?
  2. You don't gain a preference for waking up early just because school starts early. If your boss is a dick, you don't adapt to liking dicks (tho I can't speak for you).
  3. omg this damn forum deleted all I wrote again.. Basically.. functions are hardware, personality is software. If you're older than 5, 0% chance of you changing your cognitive preferences. You can change the entire OS if you want, but you won't manage to change the hardware. An ENTP at stage Red is still equally an ENTP at stage Turquoise, after a thousand enlightenments he'll still be an ENTP.
  4. No. Though they can develop weak functions more or form a different outward "personality" over time. MBTI is about cognitive preferences, which strongly influence personality. Cognitive function order doesn't change, but personality can.
  5. blunt and bold - Yeah careless - In terms of being aware of how others feel and how others perceive him? Yeah lacks compassion - Yeah lacks emotional intelligence - INTJs usually understand emotions okay, they just don't care how you feel. They're emotionally introverted. I don't think anyone could argue that Leo's emotionally extroverted, but it's shocking just how many here assume he's an INTP (INTPs are extroverted feelers).
  6. It's because he's an INTJ. This is how NiTe operates. I made a whole thread about it in the off-topic section a few weeks ago. Leo doesn't care about exploring ideas, or discussing ideas just for their own sake. He's very direct and practical. He'll tell you how to get laid, and will give you exact instructions on how to wake up as God. Everything else is unimportant to him. And if you complain about his attitude, why would he care? He's an Fi user. He doesn't want/need anyone here to like him.
  7. This is a crazy ambitious idea, and I don't know if it's even possible, but I think there's a chance so it's worth exploring. So I was talking about God with a Catholic Blue.. I started off very simple, and explained my views in simple terms. But it seemed like they had some sort of mental block, and just couldn't comprehend even the simplest idea. It's like they believe every idea must be from some dogmatic ancient text, and us humans are powerless to figure anything out for ourselves. I was thinking.. there must be some flow of logic I could run through them to get them to understand consciousness/non-duality/god. Some theoretically most elegant, most perfect way of explaining things in a way they'd understand. Something that could be copy and pasted, and if it doesn't work then you know you've exhausted every possible option. This is, in part, a video request for @Leo Gura as I don't think Leo's made anything like this for Blues.
  8. Te users can be way too focused on "credentials". Leo has zero qualifications in actualization, but that obviously doesn't matter. Similarly, you can't dismiss someone for not having MBTI qualifications. The world's top MBTI experts don't have a degree in MBTI either.
  9. Integral is 100% right though.
  10. Bernard seems like an ENTP at first glance, but it's really just a guess. ENTPs are both Ti and Te users, we just have a preference for Ti. Sometimes the most logical (Ti) thing to do is to defer to an expert (Te), especially if your goal is convince others, which may include people of all types. A prepared speech will be tailored to appeal to the masses, and a well developed Ti will know how to do this.
  11. Yep, I keep saying it but he won't accept it. Carl's an ENFP.
  12. Nice try. You won't fool me, Te user??
  13. I guarantee CS Joseph is more knowledgeable in MBTI than this "PhD" man which, I take it, you believe means he's an authority??
  14. He's just a random guy. His ideas likely hold less weight than CS Joseph's, whose ideas are also highly criticized. I, too, went through a "functions are BS, we should be using the 4 letter system instead" phase at one point. But actually it's the other way around, we should completely kill the nonsensical 4 letter system, and only use the functions. Assuming the "author" (a title I guess you assume means something) is like me, he's probably just going through that same phase I went through, but hasn't yet managed to move past it. There is no reason ISFJ should be the J, when ISFP is the more judging type. MBTI is broken, but the functions aren't. Socionics is like a fixed version of MBTI, but if we're not using that then we should at least use the functions. btw what does that author say about Socionics, has he even heard of it?
  15. True. I don't really care. But sometimes I have to interact with Blues, and I have to talk about something. When they ask why I'm not religious, and I want to have a productive/interesting social interaction, of course I'm gonna talk about nonduality and shit.. What else? This is the only way in which I can meaningfully contribute to the topic, and display a side of my personality. If I, instead, just nodded and agreed with everything they said, it would paint a completely incorrect picture of my personality, and the social encounter would go down as a complete failure and waste of time. This is good. Definitely. But they make up like 90% of humanity, so finding a way to convince them is more worthwhile anyone else. Yes???? Why is everyone so scared???? (@Leo Gura another video idea/request) That's the long approach, and requires them to be able to engage with you at an intellectual level. ?? I'm still thinking that, with complete omniscience, you should be able to figure out a combination of words which will get Blues to think. And if that's true, then it's possible for us to figure it out, with enough time. E.g. What's the first best thing to ask? It could be something like "how did something come from nothing?" or "how did the big bang come from nothing?". Something like this could be the best first step, as it's a broad/universal, profound, yet simple question. And from there you could explain how everything else naturally came about. If they managed to understand this, then their beliefs about God may seem unnecessary, and as not really contributing to solving any problems. But that's just an example. I'm wondering if there is a "best" set of questions, with a "best" order to ask them in, with the "best" language to use, etc., as if there is, then it would be worth conducting a proper study, possibly with thousands of participants, and figuring out the most impactful set of questions/ideas to give to a Blue.
  16. You will never attain what you want. Once you realize this, you become ""spiritual"". Even billionaires will never attain what they want. It's not a matter of what you're capable of, but of your mindset.
  17. It's not that ENTPs don't understand feelings, but that they don't care about feelings. There's a difference. Any mature ENTP shouldn't need logic to understand someone's emotions. Everyone's born with emotions, and everyone, regardless of type, has extensive experience with emotions. It's only logic that has to be learned. An ENTP is someone with an emotional understand equal to that of a feeler, but with well developed logic as well??
  18. Well just imagine slowly becoming God; slowly gaining God's ideas. Would your mind race? You'd be in awe, and you might get overexcited. But does it matter? There's always gonna be the possibility of a bad trip, and fast thoughts. If you're not willing to take that risk, you shouldn't take acid. if you are willing to take the risk, then stop worrying and accept that it's a possibility. If you're worried about having a bad trip, you will. btw.. if you do want to take acid, be sure to test it. Or at least buy from a reputable vendor with a lot of positive, unique reviews.
  19. I have just one: Fun. Literally not a single other thing I value. Love = fun Hard work = enables fun Wisdom = ensures you keep having fun Knowledge = fun in itself, and enables more fun Humor = fun Curiosity = knowledge = fun Creativity = curiosity = knowledge = fun Achievement = enables fun and/or is proof of fun had Stability = enables the continuation of fun Family = stability = continuation of fun etc., etc. It's all literally just one thing. Fun. Why else would you exist, if not for the fun of it?
  20. @Preety_India own values or values expected in others? I might greatly value curiosity in others, but if I lost my own curiosity it wouldn't matter much to me. I might greatly value my own achievements, but I really don't care if the people I know have achieved anything.
  21. Hmm, okay. Well it's all relative for me. If I got cheated on, I might forgive them, but then I'd consider our relationship permanently open. And I'd downgrade the GF to a "good friend" or "friend with benefits". And I'd see where it goes from there. When it comes to everything, I just go with the flow. You can never know all the facts, and making firm decisions based on based is childish/dumb 99% of the time.
  22. Not sure if I have such a thing.
