seems kinda boring. Imagine watching a movie where nothing mad happens and the characters are just always happy with no dilemmas. It would be boring af. -

Yeah I've been compelled to watch some ISIS and mexican drug cartel videos which have really exposed to me just how fucked up reality can get. It's given me intrusive thoughts about fucked up shit happenning to me and my loved ones so I get how you feel. In the highest states of consciousness I have experienced, I visualized the worst things happening to me like torture, dismemberment, death etc but I wasn't afraid. Instead I found it unbelievably funny that I was so afraid of these things for so long. A repeated thing I experiences during some of my trips was visualizing myself dying and my body decomposing while laughing uncontrollably. Because I am not this body. There can be an infinite amount of fucked up shit but there is no self to experience it. In that sense, suffering is imaginary. There is simply the experience that there is a finite self that suffers. i.e. the ego. Once you break out of the illusion I realised that this body may die or get hurt but I am the infinite consciousness that underlies all of reality which cannot be damaged. The way to break out of fear is to realise there is no self to suffer. That being said, this shit is easier said than done. I'm not able to reach these levels when I'm not on psychedelics so I spent the majority of the time appalled at the suffering that happens in this reality. But reality has a lot of beauty in it also. It depends ofn how you look at it. -

@Leo Gura Can you make a video on Andrew Tate and why people support him? I think it would be vey interesting because he doesn't fit the traditional conservative mindset. -

Probably this year if chatgpt hasn't already done that already. But the turing test isn't the most accurate test of an AI's full capabilities. AI is lacking in self awareness. It still takes an input of numbers and outputs some numbers without really knowing why. But based on some really clever maths it learns the right numbers to output based on the input. It just so happens that we can encode text and images into numbers. AI has incredible capabilities that undeniably surpass human brains but they learn in a really dumb and mechanical way. -

As someone who has a masters in AI, I disagree. AI does indeed have limitations that humans don't have and to be honest not all of the hype is true. There are some extremely impressive AI that have come out relatively quickly but they are special cases. The reason they work so well is because they have access to insane amounts of high quality data and their task can be reduced to a system with an input and output. The current machine learning methods have a lot of computing power and memory but they aren't very smart in the conventional sense. Machine learning engineers spend a fuckton of time tuning specific hyperparameters so the AI can learn anything. The reason Chatgpt and dalle are so impressive is because the people that made the them were insanely smart and well funded. Not the AI itself. Thats not to say AI will never be able to catch up to humans. Just that its gonna be a while before it does. -

I mean, its clearly not obvious to about 60% of young guys on the internet judging by the #freetate comments they make. -
I've spent a large portion of my life thinking that I was broken and needed to be fixed so I could become normal like everyone else. This entire self improvement journey was a quest to somehow 'fix' myself. Maybe I'm not broken. Maybe I never was.

I think Andrew Tate is a different breed. He is both more toxic and more popular than any pickup artist I've ever seen. He's also not primarily just pickup as he promotes get rich quick schemes and conspiracy theories. Pickup artists are stage orange wheras Tate is stage red. -
No, if you look at a lot of spiritual influencers, they tend to flatten out at green, sometimes regressing to orange and blue when they get into conspiracies.

This is the best thing i've made so far. I imagine its what Leo sees then he watches porn on 5-Meo DMT.

I've been reading some buddhist teachers talking about Nirodha-samāpatti. They describe it as a complete cessation of all consciousness. Like blipping out of existence. Daniel Ingram states: ''It is not that nirodha samapatti is necessary, but it is a good and useful thing to be able to attain. In fact, I have not yet spoken with anyone who had attained it who didn’t consider it the absolute King Daddy of meditation attainments other than arahantship, as the depth of its afterglow never fails to impress and amaze'' i have also heard people like Frank yang and others on this forum state that it is a higher level to God realisation (which is actually only the 6th Jhana). My current intuition is that God realisation and infinite love are the highest awakenings but cessation both interests me and kind of scares me. Absolute infinity vs absolute nothingness Is there anyone that has experienced both cessation and God realization? And if so which one is the higher one? -
python is the primary language for most AI applications so if anything you might me a step ahead.

I recommend Internal Family systems therapy. Its really useful for shadow work and gaining awareness into your subconscious thoughts. -

Self esteem is easier said then done. It requires you to dig deep into yourself -
Here is an interactive neural network you can visualize and play with : https://playground.tensorflow.org/ I have a masters degree in AI so I have quite a lot of resources for learning about AI. If you're interested, just message me.

wouldn't cessation be the end of the dream? since reality blinks out of existence? -

Ah i see. I think genetics determine a decent amount of our personality and behaviours so it likely has a significant effect on consciousness -

This is a circular argument. You are assuming that consciousness is determined by physical interactions and you demand scientific evidence which is by definition physical. -
