@How to be wise As an infj, what this guy in the video needs to understand is that, even though we "know" how people function, that doesn't mean we will make friends with them. Most people are happy with in everyday life and that is soul draining for an infj. Making friends would be felt as lowering yourself for what is perceived as superficial, beating around the bush and things like that. That is why we are lonely often.

@OneHandClap matter being matter itself doing matter things isn't sufficient, but necessary in a sense. AI would not be AI at the point it becomes conscious in regular understanding.

Yes ego is a natural construct that doesn't come on its own with just solely matter though.

@OneHandClap you wouldn't. Consciousness is not solely a materialistic matter. You would need to bind an ego to certain electrical activity and characteristics and that requires you to be very spiritual.

@OneHandClap An AI cannot be conscious, because consciousness isn't artificial or emulated, it is actually there once it's there.

Everything to you important is gained by facing awkwardness and shame and alike. You can't really let reason and virtue lead you when you excuse facing awkwardness and alike being unreasonable.
