Is anyone able to lucid dream every night? And if so, how do you do it? How did you learn? If there’s anyone who is able to lucid dream ALMOST every night I would like to hear from you also, thanks.

@Holykael Yea I feel like that sometimes too. but if u can conceive of this sleeping void then is it really a void? or is it simply a sensation which resembles a void but is actually just a deep state of relaxation?

I know intellectually that reality is just whatever I am experiencing, and that there isn't anything outside of that. However, whenever I find something cool, I feel like I want to share it with someone else. It seems that I can see things more clearly and I will pay attention to a thing more if I share it with others. How do I communicate solipsism to my heart when my mind gets it? So that I can feel satisfied with my own experience instead of dreaming up someone else who is also viewing stuff. I want to be free to enjoy something while alone just as I enjoy something while sharing it This seems to be why most of us are not ready to embody solipsism; we get it in intellectually but our hearts resist it.

how does someone who deceives themselves into believing that they are as honest as they can be, become more honest?

How can you say that others only hurt you when others are the only reason you can imagine yourself as a separate entity? The duality between you and other is what makes you exist. That's like saying the only thing ur parents did for you was hurt you when they are the reason you exist in the first place so they didn't only hurt you they also gave you life. Also what do you mean when you say they are only shadows? aren't they also lights guiding you higher? even if u don't like others I would think that you would be able to think of some instance in which someone helped you in some way.

@amanen My problem is not that I enjoy sharing things with others, I'm fine with that. My problem is that I do not feel free to enjoy a thing as much when I do not share it with others. I want to feel good while enjoying something on my own just as I feel good sharing something. I just want more freedom to enjoy things in more ways, I don't see how its self deception in that way.

@Razard86 Agreed, I need to be humbled and I enjoy it. But how do I deal with this addiction to condescension? It is useful sometimes as you have said, but it seems that if I do not act in a condescending way for a few days I feel frustrated in a similar way to when I go a while without a release of sexual energy.

@Leo Gura I am not proposing that I know my speculations to be true. My speculations are not the model itself. I am exploring and expanding the barriers of the model, maybe my speculations are stupid.

@Carl-Richard I don’t know because there are a lot of different types of fingers out there. But the animals with thumbs often seem to use more complex tools so I guess that’s significant in terms of problem solving. Like a monkey using a rock to open a coconut for example.

@Leo Gura How are these specific speculations of mine “tainting” spiral dynamics? Also I don’t care if people reject it as long as it’s true.

@Carl-Richard I would start with monkeys since they have already been studied a lot and are most similar to humans. Then I’d work my way down from there until I got to bacteria.

@Girzo Thank you for letting me know that spiral dynamics is a model of human VALUES, I understand that better now. But I still think that the idea of adding the values of animals makes sense. You can easily find out what an animals values are just by observing them. For example It is clear that some animals value family more than others, and some animals value diversity of mates more than others, and so on. Also I don’t think that all sages, mystics and saints should be in the same stage. Because If Christ and Buddha are anywhere near as conscious as they are remembered to be, then their values are not the same as Alan watts or eckhart tolle. Just found out that there are stages higher than turquoise, my mistake.

@integral I really don’t think these kinds of simplistic answers are helpful. We already understand that there are infinite colors between beige and purple. I am asking how could we create a more nuanced model of these colors? Of course we will never create the perfect model of it, because it is infinite. We already know that. If ur answer to how to improve a model is simply that we can’t make it perfect, then why are you here discussing models?

But I’m not sure why I feel this way. am I onto something or not? and if I am onto something what am I onto?

Whenever I’m alone I have frequent thoughts such as: “I am so much smarter than everyone else” “I am so sexy and so intelligent there’s nobody like me” “I am not interested in politics because most humans are like ants to me so I don’t care about them” Wtf is going on with me that makes my mind think that these thoughts are useful everyday for hours?

@StarStruck Ok if u want to be short with me I will try framing it in a different way for you: Kanye has had a large influence on popular culture, through music, fashion, mindset and more. I think this means that he has done what he intended to do. Of course popularity does not equal greatness but if bragging about being great at something makes it so that you can’t do it, then why is he able to have such massive influence while bragging about having such massive influence?

I think comedy is the highest art form and the way in which a comedian tells a joke is probably the greatest metaphor for existence itself so how do I tell jokes and be funny in general? Because I wanna be a metaphor for existence. what makes something funny?

@StarStruck can you explain why you think that? I don’t see why that’s always true. For example Kanye west, who is one of the greatest artists of this generation, constantly talks about it.

Stage yellow in spiral dynamics is a huge turning point, going from tier 1 to tier 2. How do you think humanity will act during our stage of development where we are primarily stage yellow? FOR EXAMPLE: What will the primary elements of our collective shadow be? What will the internet be like? How will the education system change? What will be the role of psychedelics? Will the ways in which we approach sex be different? How will our diets change? how will the ways in which we exercise change? How will science be done differently? What will mainstream entertainment be like? (We all already know the basics of spiral dynamics, so please try to bring up points which are more original, thanks)
