@kray There is something in your toxic habit that makes you feel good about doing it. Attempt to find what it is and try to add positive habit that feeds same purpose. For example if you: party and drink a lot, because you want to socialize then replace that by chilling with bros talking deep stuff. smoke pot, because you want to calm your mind then replace that by meditating get angry when talking to your friends, because you feel that your opinion does not get heard then learn self expression through music, art, writing etc. Change of behavior should't be executed before change of mindset. By that I mean that you need to contemplate fully what makes you feel good and bad doing toxic habit and what makes you feel good and bad quitting it. When you have weighted all perspectives and you see clearly that toxic habit is overall negative thing, something may click on you somehow and you change behavior.

@WonderSeeker What people often forget is that point of spiritual work or anything in life is simply to BE happy. You can play bodybuilding, being mucisian, being influencer, being smart etc. or just play tranceding all these things through spirituality and tranceding even that in the end. Any so called game you wanna play is meant to give pleasure doing it, because as everyone knows there is no meaning in the end, but meaning can be something you give to the thing you do. People frequently get stuck in being unhappy, because they keep having personality traits they don't like, but after all if you were so called "perfect" person what would it change, because anyways you would be there to do something and you better like doing it or there wouldn't be any sense to do it. "Oh my god I was thinking again, but I am experienced meditator so that shouldn't happen ... And now I am being mad at myself and I though I have learned to be gentle to myself ... What is reason to do any of this, because of I am not progressing and I am mad all the time ... I can't have any pleasure, because of then I am attached to them etc. etc. etc." I guess that previous example resonated with most of you, because that is mistake that I would be pretty sure to claim that everyone on this path to have at least once. Just enjoy doing whatever you like and if you are not into strict practises then do something else, because if you really are passionate towards this work you would do it no matter what so take your time, because there is no hurry to get anywhere and there is actually no other place to be, but this exact moment. Think it as competition whoever enjoys this present moment most wins : )

Addiction only happens when you enjoy doing bad habit more than the positive outcome of not having it. Reason why you enjoy doing the bad habit is lack of seeing through the illusion what really makes you truly happy. When person talks about how much addictive thing makes his/her life happier from his/her point of view not even I wouldn't stop doing it, because of quitting it having that in mind is stupid. First one needs to get conscious of the harm something makes in his/her life and only after that change can and should happen, because denying fun one thinks addictive thing gives to him/her just makes person to have problems with that thing whole life. Saying "addict will be always addict" makes only sense if change of behavior is executed before change of mindset. So only telling someone what is benefical and what isn't won't do anything except harm to the person who continues bad habit, because now there is feeling of guilt on top of an addiction. That is extremely important for everyone to understand, because everyone likes giving advices in hope of helping, but bad advices just make things worse. VERY IMPORTANT !! Leave all mental problems including addictions to experts so you don't cause more harm. There is reason why spirituality should be practised only after mental problems have succesfully cured. Love and happiness to everyone and be careful when you ask or give advice to mental problems : ) -
@flume @Gili Trawangan When passion to express your beautiful inner being to the world surpasses fear of being judged you start to act like child again and you start playing again, because wouldn't it be stupid to do anything else in infinite field of playground <3 When we stop resisting whatever has meant to happen through us we start to be rather than do and that's exactly why it is called inner BEING not inner DOER. Lastly flume I am sure that your videos make huge impact to people that are lacking foundation of self confidence and self acceptance, because you are extremely humble not presenting yourself better than your watchers, but more likely spirit to have journey with. @paprika Personal development is after all about BEING. Any method that puts you conscious to present moment works in some degree. Are you in red room or blue room does not matter, because in both cases YOU ARE. In your journey to recognise BEING it's up to you if you want to be healthy and that's when your question becomes relevant. If you want to learn about yourself being drunk do that, but if you want to learn about yourself truly do that without any disruption. Alcohol may help you out of persistent thought loop, but you need to learn to do that wherever you are and whatever you do. In personal development you want to add positive habits and reduce amount of harming ones and cutting down one bad habit by adding one in return is not benefical. At least I would recommend adding sober contemplation and meditation practises with sometimes drinking and eventually stop drinking whenever that is possible. Be gentle with yourself and remember that I am by your side <3 -
@teraflu Good guestion to your parents would be ... ... ... Do you wanna me to do things you think that would make me happy or the things I know that will make me extremely joyful and passionate towards life? Also wider and deeper perspective should be able to understand lower stages of spiral dynamics, because in order to climb those stages lower stages should be integrated precisely. That wouldn't only make it easier to understand their worry, but also it will help you to see where they get their ideas go wrong if they even go. It's also possible that your passion in spirituality makes you take unnecessary risks that they may try to point out. So you should see yourself as bridge builder between people so that both can learn from each other. Keep in mind that they may know something you don't and other way around. You should also speak about spirituality with people who actually understand the topic and are interested in having deep conversations so you don't need to force people who just don't get it into talking about it and become worried about your mentality. Try to see that thing in their perspective and maybe you understand how stupid your ideas may sound to them even if they aren't. @UNZARI First of all there is "friend" in word "girlfriend" so that at least should put that relationship in perspective that the other that you love so much is there to help you when you are having hard times so don't hide feelings or thoughts that come to mind. I see feeling of insecurity being lack of 3 key components that are passion, self expression or mastery in something. You need passion in life to get yourself really excited about anything. When you have found what you want to do after that may develop mastery in that thing and that builds your self confidece, because you start to believe in yourself. After your self confidence has skyrocketed you start to generate desire to express your great ideas and authentic feelings to the world. Tell me what are your current masteries or passions in life or at least what would be exremely interesting things to work towards. I am by your side allways you beautiful soul <3

@Rishabh R You have lot of beliefs and when belief is questioned and debunked it dies in a sense, because it was something that was never there actually. You - the one who thinks is reading this text right now - is also a belief that there is someone reading right now. When that belief - you - is questioned it dies. Fear is just ego's self defense mechanism which tries it best not to get killed. Remember that sometimes that mechanism is not working to your advantage like when there is beautiful girl or handsome boy you wanna approach and your fear of failure is too strong to actually make that approach happen. If you don't mind looking inside your beliefs and being sometimes little bit in shock I would advice you to keep going. When that fear eventually happens remember that you are doing progress and you are safe. If that questioning is not leading you towards happiness remember that you haven't done it enough to actually free yourself from questioning and eventually from thinking at all. @PhilGR It's all about time management and way to think about things. First of all you could sometimes eat with your friends/girlfriend and that saves you little bit time if you are in hurry. Also one thing that may help is preparing your whole weeks food all at once, because that saves time, energy, money even and most likely that way you can stick to good diet easier. What there is to clean in your room if it's already clean? ... ... ... Point is that unnessessary stressing and "need" to do everything just makes things harder in the long run, because of you need to clean everything you did poorly at the begin with. Maybe you don't have time to do everything everyday, but try to think with biger perspective and list things you wanna do in that time and calculate what you can "buy" with your time and how much. Also You can search for tons of different videos that teach basics of learning and how to do that more effectily and that would save some time from you. Watch this Youtube video for Time management Also just telling to your friends and girlfriend that you have troubles with your time will make them more understanding towards your situation and maybe not be so needy with your little time. Meditating helps you to have better concentration and calmer mind and that way it does not only help you to succesfully complete your "tasks", but it makes you feel better overall and isn't that thing you are aiming : ) How much are you exercising and doing self-study? ... ... ... Most likely you are doing those more that needed when taking consideration your life situation. You don't have time to do some kind of 5 day split workout program and that is not even wise. When it comes to self-study you should maybe study what you can do better in day to day basics that give you more energy and joy. I would still use that time just to meditate, because I see from your writings that you are not that calm and that is normal now a days, because peoples concentration span is less than 10 seconds maybe not even that thanks to electronic devices and hurry. Remember you don't need that much time to chill even if that would be nice I don't disargee, but loving your life and it's beautifulness alone can make you so happy that you don't crave chilling anymore. Question: is it really needed to graduate in time? ... ... ... What I mean is that maybe if your life is so full right now you should maybe progress in it more peacefully, because if you think it where do you need to hurry in life. Your most important and funny time in your life you waste by being stressed out every single day and maybe that will damage your relationship with your girlfriend so that someday she just tells you that she is not that interested about you and I am not trying to build any excess stress, but that is how life works. Most of us can't be in busy relationship and also if you are that stressed are you really being as good boyfriend to your girlfriend or friend to your friends that you can? Stress usually makes you have more problems with your all relationships and those can again use your limited time and energy levels. AGAIN VERY IMPORTANT !! Doing couple of things exellently is always better than trying to do too many and fail miserably in all of them : ) To the reader, just breath <3

@PhilGR Can one person change world? ... ... ... First of all everyone is changing world all the time, but the difference between them is that some leave positive and others negative impact behind them. Point is not to be just philosophical, but to make it clear that if you want good to people around you then you are already changing world in a sense and you should be proud of yourself : ) If you really wanna make huge impact on population I would progress wisely step by step first building proper foundation of communication, argumentation, thinking, charisma and self confidence overall so you can be good "leader" to "your" message to the world. To do so you should be extremely interested about policy not because of it is somehow so important, but you can learn basic argumentation mistakes that they use again and again and not to fall into same traps. If you want people to eat more healthier food now is great time to think about maybe opening vegan/non dairy/ non wheat food industry or restaurant. Due to people having more stage green values there would be customers who want healthy food to them and their families. Also remember that you will have only as great impact to the world as you are progressed as person so go and watch Leo's videos how to develop as person. Work your inner demons and all other negative aspects of yourself. Learn not to get mad when things get hard, because when you get angry you cannot function normally and that way your thinking capacity will be worse. Learn meditation and inform people around you to even try once. You will see that it is not that easy to change people when they don't want to change by themselfes and that is time when it comes to basic psychology. You have to understand what drives people to do anything in life and that of course is that they want be happy and have fun. Also one negative motivator is that people are in survival mode and they are scared. You need to be good at explaning why people should change some behaviors, because without extremely good reasons they don't want to change. Start to see yourself not as one indivual ego which in sense is not even real, but as collective of population and that way you can see that you are doing huge huge huge difference with "others". VERY IMPORTANT !! Don't be so attached to change world, accept reality as it is right now and do little things to help people around you and we will as community someday be more concious : ) To the reader, I hugely love you <3

@Vynce No problem my friend One other way to think about addictions is that just learn to love things that you gain from not doing addictive thing more instead of trying to suffer life without your lovely attachements. When you do so 2 things may happen. Either you stop being addicted and move on. Or you keep doing those things, because you see that doing so won't harm you. Also learn to see difference between addiction and just enjoyment of the thing. Difference is that if you can live week without thinking about it and not getting physical or emotional or any level of side effects then it's just for enjoyment. Week is just imaginary time change it to anything that makes sense in your mind. Also remember if you are working in job thinking about weekends and waiting them is addiction like anything else, Think about that if you like 2 days out of 7 then how much time you just keep idling or in worse situation suffering. I have analogy to working also and it's pretty powerful at least for me. First think about that you don't work and you are just home 24 / 7 or partying with friends ( the thing you actually do is meaningless in this example ) Why do you go to work? ... ... ... So you can be more happy with the time you have. Okay then you go to doing job so you get more money to have fun with your "free time", but all of the sudden you only have 2 days left and those days you are exhausted to do anything except to rest and you maybe don't want to see your friends, because of you keep thinking that your "free time" is going to end. That way you can't be relaxed and doing so week after week, month after month and year after year you see that you are so exhausted and stressed that you yell at people and you are not "yourself" then you can think why is that. Only reason is that you didn't think what you want do for living long enough. I advice everyone not to work for money, but work for the sake it's your passion and the thing you wanna do, because you love doing it. There are people who say work is not meant to be fun or bosses would do it, but that is bad attitude towards the thing you do most of your life. Like in video game if you only liked end of the "map" or "level" or last seconds of "guest" why would you play the game to begin with. Also one thing to keep in mind is that you sleep one third of your time so if you don't have personalized bed go and save and buy one that cost much, but it will stay with you 10 years it will boost your energy levels and minimalize stress and maybe it will pay you back if you are used to buy massage for your back many times a month. Okay that post was kind of about everything, but I want to make sure all my fellows are heading in right direction. To the reader, I love you very much <3

Like Leo itself said "BEING is the end of the road." I would add that think about why would you do anything and the reason after you contemplate enough would be to be happy and have fun and that's the reason. Do things for the sake of it being fun for you. If you have never thought about it only reason you do self-help right now is that you want to build more fun out of life. You make business or learn to interact with people with ease only so everything would be as smooth as possible. If you have played video games like most of us have then think about the reason you play the game and progress in it. The reason is that the gameplay is fun afterall. After you have completed the game you move on to another and so on. Point is that trying to improve yourself is just another game you can play, but it is different by the way it is more challenging and that's why you get more pleausure Playing this. Best joy that can possibly be is that you can just sit down and be in peace knowing that there is nothing that you need to do right now except to be. How does one stop eating candies? By doing other things that give same hapiness, but from more healthy source. Point is that you cannot just take away action without adding, because otherwise there will be empty space to be addicted to the thing. Okay first of all denying basic need just makes more problems. I would work with chackras expecially second chackra witch handles sexuality. So you know sexual energy activation witch comes from yoga or energywork is just better than any orgasm you ever had. So you can image it in your mind it's like build up orgasm which just keeps building up faster and stronger till you have to stop, because pleasure just makes you sick of it Okay to the other part of the question. I see you like video games so think about most realistic video game you can. All these great effects and soundquality is so crispy. It feels very 3D. You are controlling person in the movie and every action you do is very precise without any lag. It's also very sandbox kind of where you can progress in all emotional things and money things and anything you are interested. If you are gamer that most likely will get your hands wet to order it, but I tell you that you already have it just start playing. To make it better it's game where when you win the game you realize you even made the whole game and top of that you are whole beautiful thing with best graphics you can imagine

I would say all humor is baced on contradiction which most basic form is when they show kid picture of ape and then they play sound of cow. Why does it exist? Why does sandbox exist for kids? ... ... ... To play and have fun Why do we crave things to be fun? Why do we crave good tasting food or other pleasure? ... ... ... To feel good ... ... ... Why? ... ... ... simply because of ego remembers awesomeness of being limitless. More day to day kind of way to see it is that humor is most likely used at topics that are hurtful to someone. Its like soft way to express what we want to say. That's why they use draw comics about politicians, because that way most likely that person will not get hurt that bad when seeing negative things presented about him. People as they mature tend to become boring and too formal, because they think they need to be somehow grown-up which is just absolute stupidity, because whole purpose of life is to have fun while we are there. Ease a little bit that's what they told you in yoga class. Even God told joke and it's cosmic joke which is that people think life is important, but it's meaningless, but same time most important thing that is, because of it's everything that is.

@Surfingthewave Here we are again lost in reading words and not seeing actual meaning behind it... Pushing "myself" "I" just meant that "I" would do more of these practises and contemplation ( most of those that calm mind and body ). Of course "I" didn't mean it in way like tensing up and using all of energy "I" have. "I" thought that this forum is full of people who don't get lost in concepts, but this is what is happening constantly. Anyone who reads this comment, just before "you" are about to write something think it again so we don't need to jump back and forth again and again -
Intro: I have been watching Leo´s most profound videos that he has on his channel for at least 4 months daily and in best case scenario I have watched more than one long video per day. I would say I logically understand this whole concept based also on information from Sadhguru, Alan Watts and Mooji. I have been meditating at least 1 hour a day for that period of time and some days I have done 4 hours switching between different binaural beats, chakra opening meditation music, guided meditations about no self and lot of more. I have tried different kind of breathworks like Wim Hof method and Shamanic breathing by Leo Gura. I have tried Mooji's way of watching the watcher and I have logically found that what most people call "I" is empty thing and some call it no self and others Real self. Also I have cleaned dairy, wheat and sugar desserts (soda, candies etc.) from my diet and that have helped make my body more "airy" and "weightless". I have been talking these concepts with my friends and we have had lot of deep conversations. Also I just started to go meditate in group one time a week with experienced yoga teacher. Main question: By reading "Intro" it feels like I am happily into Spiritual work which I am, but the thing is that it feels like it would be time to level up this whole game somehow. I feel like I have tried all these basic things and I haven't got anything "actual mystical experience like no self" from it. I would be open to psychedelics, but it haven't been possibility for me sadly. So I feel stuck, because as I speak these concepts with my friends I feel like I shouldn't talk these concepts unless I have something actual so I wouldn't become only logical thinker of it which kind of takes this whole spirituality as a belief from others teachers. How I can get through that barrier so I can start have actual things for myself? Answers I am not searching: "you have to be patient" -> I understand that I have been doing that whole thing minimal time, but also keep in mind that I have been my whole "life" ultimately philosophical to the point my friends get mad at me for being weird. Also I have been arguing political topics long time so I would say that I have pretty solid mind capacity to understand and work things that I am interested. Also I have lot of "drive" and motivation so I won't stop things until I have completed them so patient is not my problem here. "you have to enjoy journey, because that's all this is about" -> Yeah I understand that and I am having lot of fun doing these meditation practices and watching Leo's videos. Also I enjoy "life" as it is and I love helping other people with their problems so that's not the case either. And actually I wait whole "actual mystical experience of any kind" only so I can be more authentic and loving to help people. "you have no control of it and things happen when they are meant to" -> Yeah... like fishing is about waiting till fish comes, but by your knowledge of where to fish and experience of knowing what thing to use helps make process of getting fish infinitely easier I would say. If you patiently read whole topic till this sentence you are most likely to understand that I don't search for easy non-brainer answer that anyone who thinks for 1 sec understands Things I am searching instead: New practices for no self and other mystical experiences like God awakening etc. Youtube channels especially for meditation, nonduality and spirituality. Profound meditation tips Sharing similar situations Friendships to share insights with Any good answer that is not non-brainer Lastly: I know that there are lot of people having exact same feeling that I have and that's also one reason I made this whole topic. If you are moderator or anyone with any authority I would tamely ask you to consider to lift this topic, because I would say that it would be extremely important and useful for lot of users in this forum. @NahmHelp people to realize they are in "heaven" so to speak. Most people just aimlessly are stuck with their small problems and they don't think about future at all and they are slaves of their emotions. Also let me remind that this topic was about "practises" for no self or for enlightenment. @Surfingthewave"every moment is a mystical experience in a away" Let's suppose that you have handful of stones and want money. Then lets redefine word handful of stones meaning money as you could use it when you go to shop. So I asked help to start having mystical experiences and now I have to stop doing anything since every moment is it Every moment is mystical experience in theory, because it is God/Consciousness/bla bla bla bla... Again I said I know theory and would like to transform it to Actual experience and yeah it would come by meditating only and doing this and that only, but I asked some boost since I am able to push "myself" more so I would get to the Truth faster so I would have more time to teach other parts of me here and lessen suffering overall. -

@Nahm"My" opinion is that it is about how the money is made. If "you" support "ill" business like tobacco company or fast food company it generates more problems compared to minimal positive value it gives. So "I" wouldn't use money changing owner as a rule for knowing when helping is made. To be spesific "I" want to help people really and not just stand fakely behind thing "I" know is extremely harmful for society.
