  1. @Omni Just start meditation, because that teaches you how to let go. There are so many misconceptions in spirituality that makes it harder than needed. What so called ego death means is just that you lose sense of self which actually is very basic realization. Ask me, because I can honestly say that I know what I am talking about. If I could just hug you and say that nothing bad will happen so you could trust to my words. I do high quality spiritual practises almost daily and there has never been point where I couldn't stop the process while sometimes it felt like it.
  2. @Someone here That's just trying to escape. As I said before, go and fix your problems and see the world in different light. Also if you want just to BE then learn meditation and mindfulness so you can do that while you are "alive". It's kind of sad to read posts where people are so unhappy with their lifes that never-ending "death" seems like a better option.
  3. @gettoefl Relatively my life started to be more calm the more ego dissolved. One time when I was running I understood that, while everything "around" "me" was happening automatically, even the body is moving by itself and there is no single thing which someone controls. After that whenever that is under concentration it can be seen that I can just relax while the body does what it does. Even NOW this writing is happening automatically. You can ask more questions and I wouldn't mind. With love -joNi- ??
  4. @gettoefl "I" did achieve it by meditating towards sense of self so many times and so long that it didn't make any sense that "I" would be perception. I guess there are infinite amount of different realizations one can have so absolutely there are things to do. This moment is perfection and the best thing about this moment is maybe that there is nothing that needs to be done. If I wouldn't wake up tomorrow the world wouldn't exist in a sense, but relatively I would want people to understand how beautiful it is just to be.
  5. @gettoefl Wherever "I" look towards "I" see just perceptions and that is same with the mirror. I don't find "I" or "ego" from the mirror and so shouldn't you. I eat meals, because that is something which is enjoyable and keeps this illusion going on. I write because it is just activity I like doing, but at the same time it is one thing which used to be game I liked to do - to help "others". I wouldn't need tomorrow to happen, but if relatively that would happen I would be extremely happy like I am NOW from this what I have.
  6. @gettoefl That is just some theory you are trying to speak to me, but I am living it. As "I" said there is no sense of self, sense of perceiver or sense of ego left. I don't understand how someone could say that having ego is good thing if at least for me it is complete opposite. Less ego you have the more you will start to be rather than do and that's why it's called as inner being instead of inner doer. Still even saying that you are being is wrong, because there isn't even that.
  7. @gettoefl When it is understood that there is no ego everything will happen automatically without no one in control. Of course the body will continue having its "personality", but that is not you. "You" should also understand that, because there are no "other" people you already are interracting with "robots" in a sense. You make it sound like awakening is the most important thing and all that make you go to this direction is good, but the thing is that being happy is even greater "desire".
  8. @Nivsch That sounds that you want to take ego to the "highest" levels and that will not work. From my perspective it seems that the your survival mechanism is so strong that it denies being survival mechanism or otherwise it would be deleted. What do you say about "my" state then, because there is no sense of self, sense of perceiver or sense of ego and "I" am as happy as "I" could. I don't understand how you can say that removing ego is wrong goal, because at least for "me" it gave massive happiness.
  9. @Nivsch If the point is to see why there is no ego then should you listen to ego's defense mechanisms why for example you are doing wrong when you get dark night of the soul? Dark night of the soul happens, because it is seen that this is radical stuff and then little ego gets fearful, because it thinks that it is doing something wrong. Of course losing ego feels horrible, if your mind is filled up with wrong assumptions and weird thought patters of what will happen. Ego wants to eat candies everyday; why not listen this instruction?
  10. @Nivsch Many people don't understand what egoless state really means. You will not lose your desires, but more like you don't see them anymore as things that need to be done. Of course you could just start thinking that all spiritual people including me are trying to trick you to the worst life possible, but that is called as a madness. We don't teach these things for no reason and actually at least I have my own direct experience of a state without ego and it is awesome. There is no "need" to do anything. You are just terrifying yourself and that's it. -joNi-
  11. @Vibroverse No, but only one dream can be spotted, if you are precise enough.
  12. @Vibroverse Where are these dreams you keep talking about?
  13. @Karas Actually what was stated is correct and you just need to look the thing closer. Tell me when you get it. -joNi-
  14. @RMQualtrough What if I really told you that I am wearing red underwear. Of course then you realized that your experience is all there is. -joNi-
  15. @Mvpjouney It's like asking what happens tomorrow. I can't answer for that, but I can guarantee that there is always tomorrow in relative sense. The point of spirituality is still to ground yourself being in present moment as much as you can so you should naturally exhaust your desire to ask these questions. They just don't matter. What comes to question of self I would say that all identification to anything is just clinging to be.
  16. @Someone here So called derealization is good thing, because you stop assuming "world" to be certain way over someting different. Existence should feel dream like, because that is what is left after all major assumptions are taken away. Thinking that "other" people are having conspiracy against you is just more thoughts and imagination. End of the day it is just best to quiet your overworking mind and relax into silence. -joNi-
  17. @GreenWoods I would advice you to watch this video.
  18. @kray https://www.dhamma.org/en/index Here is a link for free vipassana retreats around the world. I would save the money and go here when it is possible. 1k is so much that actually you could travel to different country to participate to the retreat and get high quality teaching, free food, free housing and see other country aswell. I would think about this possibility a while. -joNi-
  19. @kray You will be extremely concentrated to whatever you do; hope that this is not problem for your boss . No, but it is possible to have ultimate ego backlash after retreat, but as long as your mind is pretty stable I wouldn't worry about it too much. Also why the retreat would cost 1k? Is it because of distance?
  20. @Arcangelo Did only watch first minute of first video and I am surprised of the "definition" it tries to give. Nihilism just means that nothing matters including that nothing matters. Based on that realization one can live extremely free life without a constant "need" to do everything all the time. (s)he can do only what (s)he wants and that's exactly what life is all about. -joNi-
  21. In relative level it's real and in absolute level there is only this present moment. There must always happen something no matter what it is, because non-experience is impossible, because it would need to be experienced in order to be real and that proves it wrong already. You should question how you can be more present, happy and relaxed, because these are things that matter. -joNi-
  22. @Federico del pueblo Here in this video there is a part which shows what I meant. Time stamp: 0.18 - 0.26 Edit: Almost all people seem pretty cool in that video .
  23. @Federico del pueblo What is cringe is kinda relative, because of course people who don't match together will always think the other one being crazy. That may sound extremely weird, but my opinion is that if that feels cringe to someone it is because people can't loosen up in these situations and join in the play. So actually the "problem" is that people lack social skills and they clinge in acting smart, serious and unaccepting in order to keep their "cool". Funny video tho . -joNi-
