@Aaron p You can fix your life so much that you come to place where you can just relax and become zen or you can become so zen that your life gets fixed by itself. Any route you take or some combination between them can be magical or hell depending on how your life is a like. Because everything is so situational it's very hard to say which is a trap and which is a possibility for someone. Actually hitting some traps may be essential in order to make person appreciate complexity of life. -joNi- -
Kksd74628 replied to Matthew85's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Matthew85 The structure problem you're making in your logic is that if you don't know something then you believe to something which makes most sense. You should just leave it empty and relax into not knowing. Beliefs, assumptions and guesses are things which are in your way when you aim to find truths about reality. Assumptions are the things which ground you to some worldview and as long as you keep believing to them your worldview won't change radically and that's essential to get insights into reality. -joNi- -
Kksd74628 replied to Matthew85's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Matthew85 Try to compare dreams to waking life without assumptions and you may see that they are the same. You hit a wall if you try to compare them while thinking that in dream "others" aren't conscious and in waking life they're. You can say how it feels, but that doesn't have anything to do with what it really is. When you see both of these states as an experience you come to place where you can't distinguish them from each others. I did kind of lucid dream in waking life while tripping and I saw that others had very incoherent communication. The problem you have is that you haven't had similar experience in "real life" -joNi- -

@SamC Did you understand the meaning of that analogy? It was all about integrating the trip so you can have realization of those insights that stay with you 24/7. -

@IamYou I could ask you what is time and you could give me another definition. What I was trying to point towards was that being conscious is thought you're having right NOW. If you'd focus to the question am I aware long enough you'd end up not understanding the question even. What I am trying to say is that you can always define things some way over another, but the thing is that unless you've them in your direct experience going on why bother to think that they exist. -joNi- -
@DefinitelyNotARobot Someone has watched JulienHimself and remembered a lesson ?.

@marinaaniram All traumas and feelings go away by feeling them enough, accepting them and not trying to push them away. Therefore you should be in a state you're right now and trying to be relaxed in it. Point is not to gain state where it is easy to relax, but to train your relaxing skills so you can pull them out in all scenarios. Accept the negative feelings you've when you meditate and continue until they dissolve into nothingness. Lastly it is possible to meditate yourself to better life. With love -joNi-

Kksd74628 replied to MrTouchdown's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@MrTouchdown Thing which includes everything cannot have opposite, because that is inside the definition. Things which don't have opposite are called as Absolutes. -joNi- -
Kksd74628 replied to MrTouchdown's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@MrTouchdown Calling everything as real is perspective which tells us that realness means that it is perceived nd therefore there is no difference between dream world, this world and tripping. Pointing out that the nature of reality is imaginary means that all that there ever could be to "you" must be inside experience which is "yours". They're just two different ways of seeing world and are communicating some wisdon and aren't contradicting each others. -joNi- -
Kksd74628 replied to MrTouchdown's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@MrTouchdown Past is made now is beautiful perspective, thanks from that. Whenever there is change or not depends on the perspective you take. Theoretically there is only now which is snapshot of the moment and there's nothing else so there's no change. In the other hand that theoretical perspective doesn't exist really theoretically nor in practice so it doesn't matter too much. In practice you can't point towards now, because pointing towards it requires "different now" and after that the now is just a thought inside "new now". -

@look_inside Whenever I am dream character from your perspective or not you could still analyze my behaviour and possible responses. -joNi- -
@Edvardas It doesn't matter, because all you could access is always your life right NOW which means to you everything that could be. -joNi-

Kksd74628 replied to MrTouchdown's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@MrTouchdown If denying past in your post means denying that it happened, then what you said doesn't prove it in any direction, because past is just good concept that you could think in order to improve your life and make it to something you could accept more easily therefore be more happy. If you mean accepting past in relative level as accepting things that seemingly happened to you then it doesn't really matter if you accept them in percpecive of changing behaviour. In perspective of curing trauma accepting past is must. -
Kksd74628 replied to funkychunkymonkey's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@funkychunkymonkey That is actually very good to practice base level consciousness to be in good mindfulness state around a clock. Doing so makes you wise in a sense that you're always in a mode that you can make great decisions that help you in your life. It also erases all traumas and makes you mentally and emotionally stable person. If you're in very conscious state in daily basis it'll not drop too low and you are always ready to do more meditation and psychedelics to up it to higher levels. It was not in a question, but you should also contemplate things when you're in high conscious state in order to have cool insights to the nature of life and/ or your life in positive way. It'll be so much easier to consciously think about things when all random thoughts aren't flying around the mind. It's great circle, because contemplation practically makes your life easier so you have time, energy and motivation to relax your mind and body and relaxing puts you in great state to contemplate some more. With love -joNi- -

@Someone here I guess we're close enough and your perspective is interesting, but I just told my own take of what I've experienced and what I live 24/7. As I said the more you focus on one aspect of reality the less it makes sense if you'd erase all assumtions from it. It's like no choice of word can describe the perception, sensation or the nothingness so it'd feel like the real thing anyway close. That's what perspective, way of looking the thing, is. Verbalizing what you experience is very hard if all in the communication don't have good self-expression skills and idea of how the another one communicates. -
Kksd74628 replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Someone here Now you phrased in a way I could agree easily on what is said. The place where "sense of self" existed is occupied with indefienable sensations. Those sensations don't belong to anyone and are universe itself. The more you try to make sense of the sensations that exist in present moment the less you know about them after all assumtions and weird thoughts have gone away. -
Kksd74628 replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Someone here I don't have sense of self in my daily basis, but I just put grey shoes with N logo every morning. The one who haven't achieved this state will always rationalize benefits of living in harmony with your ego so you know whose shoes to put, but that's ridiculous when you have experience without sense of self first time. It takes reasonable amount of meditation with correct technique + mindfulness during the day to get to it and it is kind of personal anyways. -
Kksd74628 replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Someone here All sense of self and ego either big or small is more clinging, that's what I'm saying. Clinging to be some way over another. When you don't have any clue of I, you win. Living in harmony with ego sounds just afraid ego's last survival mechanism, because doing so keeps the the fun thought, thought of I, alive. All what I said I've seen thanks to meditation and that proves you can see it too.
