Can't blame them, though. "You are God. You are Love. You are Infinity. You are Leo."

Probably way off-topic, but I think your misplacing the quotation marks here, since it's literal not metaphorical. Now "dream job", that's a lot more valid. -

I'm a man, and I feel offended.

Anything's a dildo if you are brave enough But seriously, it's mostly a matter of attitude. Learning is an attitude. All the teachers in the world will not be able to teach you anything if you are not ready yourself. But also, the quality of the teachers matter. And in comparison with Facebook and reddit etc. this forum is a goldmine of good people, especially for spiritual seekers and self-help junkies. In my experience, this forum has some of the most intelligent people on earth. I have seen and met with smarter people, but on average people here are fairly smart and a lot more open-minded than the average person. I can say with confidence that this forum has changed my whole worldview and life. Prior to it, I was a completely different person, even with all the videos and teachings. It's very different to discuss spirituality out in the open with others who share the same experiences and confusions than to do it on your own and only discuss with yourself lol. Plus, I think this forum has helped many depressed and borderline suicidal people through some really hard times. Most people might take it for granted but Leo has probably saved tens and hundreds of lives with his work. -

Leo might rate high on awakening levels. But enlightenment, lol, he's nowhere near enlightened. -

So, you're basically admitting materialism. Only a slightly enhanced version of it. -
I started working since I was 10 years old. Here's some things that I regret: Working too much (10 hours in the summer and 5 next to school). Low pay. Saving that low pay, cuz of scarcity mindset that I've inherited from my dad. Shitty narcissistic boss. Not socializing enough. Not playing enough sports. Not developing any good or useful skills. Not making the most out of the job I was at. I could have learned it better, but I didn't. Hating my job. Not following my authentic desires and natural inclinations. Being almost forced to work in a field that I wasn't even interested in. That being said, I would say that getting a job doesn't necessarily have to be a bad experience. If you're 15 or more, you're more aware and intelligent than me at 10, and you can make more informed decisions. Just take into account what I listed above, and I think you will be fine.

Stop assuming that I know. Problem solved -

If I could (or would, btw) prove anything, that would be knowledge/knowing. -

Believing in "materialists" out there is itself materialistic. In fact, it's the epitome of materialism, while denying that it is. -

@Mu_ lol Yeah, all that logical thinking is nice and sweet, but reality is a-logical, and it's not limited by your imagination. If you truly think that reality is logical, then I will ask you how come it exists at all? "Existence" in the way you think it is, is clearly illogical, because it falls under the infinite regression problem. In the same way that you overcame infinite regression, you can overcome the current dilemma. Simply by stepping out of logical thinking and applying radical open-mindedness. No. That's simply a lack of imagination on your part. To be honest, I don't care one bit if it's this way or that way. All I know is that you guys don't know, and that you're simply taking a leap of faith instead of admitting defeat and not-knowing. -
Gesundheit2 replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Well, maybe, but who said logic is true? Just because you can't currently imagine nothingness, doesn't mean you won't ever be able to. How many things you could not imagine and then you came to experience? Plus, even if you can't ever imagine it at all, still doesn't mean something always existed. Consider that you didn't exist before your birth. -

I don't know why. But I know that we can't know anything beyond perception. And perception is something, therefore it can't point to nothingness. The notion of "eternal universe" cannot be verified. And it could be the case that at some point in time, there was an actual nothing and then that void somehow/magically/IDK turned into something. -

If you know Arabic, you can check with any printed copy of the Quran. Otherwise, a little google search will be enough. I already linked a Wikipedia article on chapter 95. It's called At-tin, which means the fig tree. Here's another link: https://quran.com/95 By the way, I don't think there's any reference whatsoever in the Quran to consciousness. At least not as God or the absolute truth. -
Here's a good one: So, basically you had no GiFs.

Interpretations are a different matter. The original text is distorted, almost photoshopped by some New Age hippy, and poorly so. -

It is from best practice to always consider the possibility of projection. -
Gratitude is the ultimate blessing. Those who don't have it are the most unfortunate.

Those Sufis are out of control. Here's the real chapter 95: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/At-Tin -
