I honestly don't see that. She's below average to me. Like literally, not even her voice is sexy or anything gives me a good feeling. And apart from physical looks, she seems tense and a neurotic tryhard. And on top of all that, I don't think she's legit enlightened. More like psychedelic and circumstances enlightened at best.

Conspiracy theory at its core is a paranoid state of consciousness, more like a mental illness. This Paranoia is often generalized and involves various areas of one's life. It does not go away easily in my experience, but CBT can help. You can notice fearful patterns of behavior and thinking in almost every domain of a conspiracy theorist's life. Conspiratorial thinking used to be harmless before at least to society at large, even though still delusional. But right now it's becoming dangerous with the anti-vaxxers and shit like that. It's really tragic. Essentially, to heal a conspiratorial mind, you need a trusted authority that can actually calm down the fear. But it's a catch-22 problem, because there's an inherent lack of trust in all authorities, including yourself or any other authority you may try to establish. They have a faulty epistemology that's very hard to fix. Your best bet would be to offer a bigger picture perspective every time a conspiracy topic is brought up, and then lead from there by your intuition.

That sounds like more speculation, and it doesn't really help. Usually when I feel triggered, it's not just a feeling, there are thoughts too. Grab a pen and a paper and start journaling right away if you're still feeling it, or once that feeling surfaces again.

@Evoke Ultimately I don't really know. I don't even know if she is a conscious being, or if she exists at all. And I don't know exactly the "I" or "she" that I'm saying. But I can feel that she's trying hard, so that'd be inauthentic. But maybe that's just my perception, so again I don't really know. What might be of relevance to your question would probably be to be precise about your experience. What are the thoughts you're getting when you listen to her? And why her exactly? Does Sadhguru for example trigger you too? Yes or no?

Taking life seriously or not so seriously is an irrelevant inquiry. Life is to be taken correctly. The opposite of knowledge is opinion. God is the real deal. All else is placebo. It's a very good rule of thumb, perhaps even the best, to assume that all humans are crazy and mentally ill. Life is a lot easier that way.

You don't know that. At least, you don't know the limits to which you can drop desires until you reach that supposed state. For example, I bet Elon Musk probably thinks he will sink into shit if he decreases his desires and ambitions by 1%. That's not as easy to say when you're actually suffering. State of consciousness matters a lot more than thinking a thought. Words do not do justice to true happiness.

Absolutely not. Hence, it's not a good sign. The more you desire, the more you will suffer, the less happy you will be. And vice-versa. No, it's not. Maybe. But not really.

@mandyjw Desire is a virus of the mind. Its existence is an indicator that something is not right, whether externally or internally. It's a tool of the devil. You really haven't tasted true happiness until you've dropped all your desires. Counter-intuitive, but it is what it is. Now, if you don't want maximum happiness, then sure, follow your desires and see where they lead you. I assure you that there is no comparison.
