  1. But you claim that you already are the hand. If that's truly the case and you actually believe that, then what work is there to do? Does embodying your role as the hand mean getting rid of your role as the finger? Is this "the work" from your perspective?
  2. If you're truly the hand and you believe that, then why do you keep acting like a separate finger? Why the cognitive-behavioral dissonance?
  3. @peanutspathtotruth All of this discussion can be boiled down to these: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Idealism (Spirituality in general). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subjective_idealism (Leo/Solipsism). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Objective_idealism (Spira and the others).
  4. I wouldn't know unless you tell me first. I'm interested in a free conversation where sensible communication happens.
  5. Then I don't think you understood my question. I asked you whether you're the infinite or finite self. It was a straightforward question about your experience. Do you experience yourself as what you're calling the infinite Self (whatever that is)? Or do you experience yourself as the finite self (again, whatever that is)? It would be ideal if the answer included an explanation for the "whatever that is" part.
  6. Are you trying to say "I don't know" but feeling a little bit shy?
  7. There seems to be a huge gape in her understanding.
  8. What about the stories/paradigms we create about the original stories/paradigms? (Meta stories). In other words, how do you know that all the imaginary stories and paradigms are necessarily false? Obviously, there's no way to know. The possibility of any given story to be true or false is always 50%. If it represents reality correctly, then it's true. If it doesn't, then it's false. And there's no third option. So, your meta story about reality being so simple and direct is not necessarily true. Maybe reality is a lot more complex than you think it is. You don't know. You just assume that all the stories and paradigms are 100% false, without noticing that that's an unconfirmed meta story and paradigm. So intricate, you see?
  9. Obviously, Rupert is not awake. Though, that doesn't mean Leo is awake, either.
  10. I know humans, and I know war. You're all just children.
  11. It's not very much about the circumstances themselves, but how much stress they place on you. So there's always a subjective component in how you perceive the circumstances, which is big, but still doesn't always invalidate the objective component. Although, the objective component is flexible and can expand and contract to a large extent through adaptation. It's like you can keep on decreasing it to become very insignificant, but you can't really get rid of it entirely, which is not necessarily a bad thing, imo.
  12. I don't have issues with what your saying. I have issues with the moderation team, because it sucks.
  13. Maybe it's the semen retention.
  14. You're just weaponizing thoughts that you have learned in an unproductive way. I'm not going to waste any more time on you.
  15. Compassion for what? For being so naive and donating a ton amount of money to a guy who offered free guidance? And then keep on buying sessions with him? His image is a farce only if you're blind to the overwhelming evidence. Okay, lol.
  16. It was enough when you talked about it in the original demotion thread. You took it too far, and you were allowed. I find this to be very strange and suspicious. Another false and toxic belief.
  17. And yet, you all seemed to stick with that option in almost every case for years. Well, except now. You can close the thread and explain that the discussion will continue in private.
  18. Why in public though? It's very strange that this thread has continued and degraded down to this level without locking it or giving any warnings. Suddenly nobody in the moderation team cares about Nahm's public image, let alone feelings. Suddenly the bias has shifted against the moderation team, when Nahm is down. I can't believe you, people.
  19. You're conflating two things here: Your frustration with the results you think you've got from working with Nahm. Your perception of him as a person. It might help you to separate these things before continuing, because one can affect the other. It might be true that you didn't have the results you wanted from him, but it's also true that most other people have experienced the opposite. So we can't accept your perception/judgment on his person because the evidence is so overwhelmingly to the opposite effect. I don't know if it's okay, but a poll can definitely demonstrate this point. I perceive him as a legit spiritual teacher. Many share the same perception. But just like with everything else, the perfect product that pleases everyone does not exist. Otherwise, everyone will just buy it and all problems will end.
  20. That's nonsense. Who determines that? To an ISIS bomber, the radical fundamentalist teachings are the most harmonious thing in existence. You don't know that. Keep in mind that you still have hours of Nahm's communications in your mind, so it's very possible that they're only taking effect right now. You can't really say he didn't teach you anything, because maybe he laid out the groundwork for the rest of what you have learned. Maybe without Nahm, you would have never been able to move beyond that point you were at before. Maybe he planted the seeds for you and you didn't know.
  21. You should have talked to Nahm in private first when you were having the problems. All of this ranting is unnecessary. If you talked and didn't like his response, then you should have stopped right there. Well, there you have it. That's the belief that's created this problem for you, and will keep creating more of the same problem if you don't investigate its truth and then change it. The reality is that cause and effect are an illusion. And that's especially true with the spiritual quest. One person will be transformed by listening to Jesus, and another one will become suicidal. There are no strict rules that govern the human mind.
  22. Jesus got killed and crucified, for God's sake. He obviously had more than just one unsatisfied customer.
  23. You can make the same critique against literally anyone. You will never find a human that can please everyone, no matter how hard they try. I am sure you can find critiques of Sadhguru, Adyashanti, Jed McKenna, Eckhart Tolle, etc... if you look enough. No such a thing as a perfect human being. That's your faulty assumption.
