So these modern gurus who inhabit this online space want to deflect responsibility by discarding the teacher title, but they don't mind having all the teacher benefits like the followings and the money. That's all this is about. It's selfish, hypocritical, unethical, and low consciousness in my opinion. Leo Gura is one of the few who doesn't do that, and I respect him for that.

Sex is a lot better than porn if you do it properly. There are things that make sex exciting such as the initiation/escalation, and the foreplay. If you create a good story for the sex for you and your partner, typically a playful story in the flow of the moment, then take you time with the foreplay; Man, oh, man! It's incredible! Try comic porn to get a taste of what I'm talking about. Regular porn lacks context and it sucks in this regard. There is no emotional connection or anything between the actors, the story-line and the acting often suck.

Now that I really think about, the only reason why I wanted to join the other forum was seeing Joseph Maynor there. I had been a fan of his work for some time, and finally got the chance to be in touch with him. Though, I would have loved it a hell lot more to hang out with him in person. Now that he isn't there anymore, there's no reason for me to be there either. I would like if he could join this forum once again, but apparently that's out of the equation. In many ways, I consider Joseph my Godfather; The one who knows what to say, and what advice to give at any given time. At least that has been my experience with him eversince he used to be here. Even this brief window of interaction that I've had with him is having a major effect on me, spiritually and otherwise. Good luck on your journey, Joseph. I wish you all the best.

I can't tell you what the purpose/point of life is. But I can tell you that there are right and wrong ways to live this life before departing. The good thing is that there isn't one right way to live life, and the better thing is that the wrong ways are obvious.

I wouldn't say it was the best, but it was a good starting point for my existential crisis. The book is written in my native language, and I'm not sure if it's translated to any other language. Anyway, the name of the book is something like "The absurdity of the human mind". It basically talks about how illogical religion is, and so for me at that point (probably about 8 years ago) it was mind-blowing since I was super religious. Then, some years later, after a year or so of getting into spirituality, I started reading from Jed McKenna. Specifically, the book called "Spiritual Enlightenment - The Damnest Thing". And it was very enlightening for sure. Of course, I recommend any book that talks about logical fallacies for every human being, but that's like just basic.

Work is a great thing. It's the best thing there is to stay busy and productive, especially if it's something you like and with people you like too.

Synchronicity is not a proof of soulmates. It's not even a real phenomenon in the materialist sense. So you got a few synchronicities throughout the month. Big deal. Maybe it's more likely because you are focusing on the relationship more than anything else that makes the synchronicities more apparent to you. Maybe they happen everywhere all the time but you don't give them much attention. Not that they deserve it or not, but that the bias is there. It's almost like rolling a dice then attaching meaning to the number 3 every time it appears.

Either I'm crazy or there is some serious signaling going on. That's how gaslighting makes you feel. Whenever you feel that way, then you surely are being gaslit.

Just one thought not pointed at anyone in particular: Some guys complimented girls on their pics here in the past and they got kind of shamed/suppressed by other guys for being creepy or something like that, so I guess now there's a latent fear when it comes to complimenting the beauty of the opposite gender. I think I've had some that fear inside me too, so now I'm releasing it. Fuck what people think. I will appreciate beauty wherever I see it.
