  1. You're right. We're not experts in economics and we don't run capitals or countries, so the debt discussion is probably a distraction in comparison to how money works, and the latter would probably benefit us more.
  2. Of course. However, I don't know a lot about economics. I was mostly parroting something I heard this guy saying. https://youtube.com/channel/UC4kRorAXuIkyIX6vwXKaLWg
  3. There is no shortage of capitals who want to lend the USA. In fact, things are very competitive in this regard. Because the $ is the main currency (stable and reliable).
  4. Realizing how addiction is nothing but a way to escape an imaginary pain by seeking imaginary pleasures, and then deciding to face the pain head-on and letting go of old imagination.
  5. Not that I like or even agree with Spiral Dynamics, but I do wonder if there's a specific stage for people who take everything literally and miss the point of the communication. I've seen that in various stages, so I'm not sure if it's related in any way to a particular way of viewing the world.
  6. Courses are a rabbit hole. They're not the way to go. What a course basically is, is a human trying to make money out of you (or YouTube, etc...) by over-complicating simple stuff to make it seem worth your while, when in fact it isn't. Don't let the theory fool you. The only real way to learn is through practice.
  7. Trying to wake yourself up in a poetic way.
  8. You probably just need to detox and keep trying. Don't be too hard on yourself. Give your body some rest from stimulants every once in a while.
  9. I used to want to know, too. Luckily, not so much anymore.
  10. Lol, where did you learn that story? Sounds too good to be true. From what I have learned, religion actually started with the blood, sweat, and tears of the founders clashing with their people every time. The mystic tells his people that they are deluded, and they try to shut him down until he's either killed or otherwise prevailed against them. Faith was just another word for open-mindedness. It basically means that I understand how what I'm saying sounds way too far fetched, so if you can't currently believe me, then at least try to have an open mind that it might be true. That's because prophets were accused of being crazy, possessed, mentally ill, evil, etc...
  11. Introduction to the new religion called "Idealism".
  12. Nope. Different lifestyles lead to different ways of interacting with the world, but generally speaking both men and women are and have low consciousness. There's also the genetic difference component, but it still doesn't change anything.
  13. @mandyjw Lucifer was like the hottest one
  14. I guess because God didn't learn about feminism because he was busy having sex with his angels?
  15. Lose all philosophy/thinking, including (especially) this one for a few days, and see what might happen.
  16. @Someone here Yep. @Tim R Congrats. The right man in the right place.
  17. I think the junk food argument is pretty silly and loaded with religious morality. Leo tends to overestimate himself and his insights, thanks to psychedelics (they give a false sense of confidence). But to your question, what does choosing the consequences have to do with free will? Ask yourself, why do you think that that would make a difference? What would be the imagined difference in there? Why would one certain case be lacking free will and the other not?
  18. Reductionism is good; it's the best, actually. Nuance is costy and exhausting, and it leads to all sorts of executive malfunctions. All arguments against that are stupid, also.
  19. You're all crazy.
