I have certainly not lived out stage orange desires like being a ladies man, and I have no real career. But pursuing that seems like going against the tide. I want more meaning and less bullshit. I can't avoid questions like "what's the use of me winning while others are losing?", "what would happen to the planet if we all acted as selfishly as I might", and "Isn't it unnatural to do things that don't bring you joy?" The deeper question for me is "will I regret missing out on stage orange things and crave them later, or would I regret having pursued them and wasted years of a potentially more meaningful and joyful course, however uncertain?"

Thanks for the replies. The fact is that this is symptomatic thinking of a psyche becoming conscious of new things and thus facing new “problems” there are never plain solutions, and one must navigate, though feeling blind, using their own internal feeling.

I want to visit to Austin to see if I want to move there. a big reason I want to go is to build a dating life. i want to be able to check out clubs. Idk if they will be dead bc of Omicron tho. Should I just go, I can’t wait forever.

I would stop doing day game before you cause yourself anymore distress. I am willing to bet this is not authentic to you (it may have been exciting the first few times) and you are largely doing it because you are afraid there is not a better way to get what you want. have you really tried looking though? You will have to contemplate this for yourself of course.

I was going for a data analytics job but I found that pretty boring and it made me want to fall asleep rather than work. On paper it sounded better than a sales job and I don’t think I would particularly enjoy a sales job but I feel a strange intuitive pull towards it. are there times when the notion of “follow your heart” or “follow your gut” is stupid?

How do you feel about going out and talking to people, and offering them your coaching services for $150-$250 per 30-50 minute phone call, in spite of the fact that you will feel more or less just as unprepared as you do now, where you are not teaching but helping them work out a way forward for themselves? Don’t think about being behind in life. It is not true. In your present direct experience you will find it is not true. Authentic inspiration, desire to express what is in you is where to keep your eyes.

@universe it could be many things I guess so I’m not sure. one thing I might like about it could be if it makes me feel like I am expanding into the world a bit and potentially seeing myself growing social skills.

@Average Investor That sounds right. I know my mind can’t process enough information to make very wise decisions. I would be making a bit of a commitment because I would be moving to a new city with a decent sized rent.

He really has that sort of logic that lacks the human element of sense of fairness, equality and care, which could be described as “Psychopathic”. and it will refute any complaint against it using a sort of Darwinian logic. I think in the end, the society tends to have the last word. yet so many people look at him like he is a god- cuz society’s sense making still sucks.

Looking for a job to allow me to move out of parents' house. I imagine there are plenty sales companies that will take advantage of employees or teach shady tactics. What tactics are the best? What industries are good bets? What type of pay contract is best for someone with no experience? Thanks.
