But whatever.. At least now that i see it i can work to change this belief (Neuroplasticity, Memory Reconsolidation, Hypnotherapy, Affirmations, Visualizations, Self-Love, etc)

@FlyingLotus thanks !!

During the breathing part (30-60min), can i listen to a podcast (laying down) and still get the main benefits, or is it essential to be in a meditative state of mind ? (I'm struggling with heavy existential fears during the breathing part. I know it's normal and i'm safe but it's really hard to be mindful and keep going, i'm suffering on the edge of giving up the whole time.)

@OctagonOctopus thank you this is really helpful, i realise my self-deception of trying to escape the very thing i'm trying to heal haha I'll do each techniques, thanks again ? -
The way we Breath can be extremely helpful for Survival & Spirituality. Very few people know how to use the breath.. It's like learning to use a multi-tools instead of just hammering with one side. Need more physical power/endurance ? Lazer-focused Concentration ? Relaxation ? More Alertness during your meditation ? Need help with Letting Go ? Struggling with your Emotions ? Brain-fog ? Stuck in your head ? Dealing with Pain or a Traumatic-experience ? And i'm just scratching the surface, i don't even know whats possible with those yoga practices. Also it can act like the butterfly effect : Shallow-breathing -> you feel kinda anxious -> it influences your train of thoughts -> wich influences your emotions -> wich influence your thoughts -> etc And of course it works the other way too. The breath plays a big role in those vicious & virtuous-cycles. There is plenty to talk about, it's a very practical topic that would have an impact on a lot of people lives & their actualizing journeys.
-
To be specific, it would be a very practical video to teach ~5 ways of breathing that help us with some precise self-actualizing challenges, like a set of tools to pick from. For example, your "shamanic breathing" video shows one pattern/tool that is really powerful to help deal with trauma and have psychedelic experiences. And i'm sure 90% of people don't even breath properly (me included) in their daily lives, or are unconscious of how it influences their state of mind.

Hey @Leo Gura, it would really be worth it to engage a discussion with Frank Yang, about any topic, & it could be posted on his channel (so you can keep the flow of yours, not much to loose). I'm 100% sure he would LOVE to ?

Great idea, i would put it right above "serious emotional problems" tho, or even merge the two sections ? -
I freaking loved it too

@BipolarGrowth once again, thank you for your help ? -
It happened during a mindfulness meditation, I was Letting Go more and more, i started to feel Sexual Arousal in my pelvic floor, in my belly and in my breath, i kept letting go and.. ALL OF A SUDDEN this Energy Exploaded/Erupted SO FREAKING HARD my heart & breath went absolutely through the roof (it felt like if i didnt slow it down i was gonna pass out) My body started to feel reAlly intense Fear (but it felt so good tho) I was Literally jaw-droped, my head to the sky, and it felt like this Continuous Flow of Energy getting bigger and bigger and going out Through my Throat and mouth. I'm not sure how long it lasted, my guess is for about a big minute. It left me in a state of Peace and Full of energy (thoughts started to arise and i opened my eyes). Few hours later i'm back as "normal" in my everyday ego state of mind. It was an Awesome experience, but it left me wondering... WHAT THE ABSOLUTE FUCK WAS THAT ?? Is that some type of energy awakening that is going to disturb the body for a while..?

@BipolarGrowth thanks man, i'll gladly ask some questions • It didn't go to the crown chakra, does that mean it is an incomplete kundalini awakening ? Does it matter ? • Is there some Specific things to do, to deal with insomnia ? (other than the universals no screens, wake up & bed time, food time...) • Should i slow down my meditation practice for a few days ? I want to ramp it up, but could it backfire on me ? (not ready for all the ego-death shit, especially if it happens without my consent, like while doing the dishes) -

Additional infos : • I'm a 19yo man • I'm quite new to this, around 60hours of meditations (meditating everyday since the start of 2021) • The day before i experienced a little bit of awakening about mindfulness of existence, nearly lost my ego, found it real hard to fall asleep this night haha (it was like Consciousness cannot be tired) • I feel more tension in the back of the neck, but might be irrelevant -
Intro : I'm 19, and i'm really sick of Universities and 9-5 jobs. It takes sooo much of my Time and Energy away. And even when i have some time off i'm always thinking about making money so i can free myself from what society has planned for us. Being trapped by all those "obligations" keeps me stuck in some kind of homeostasis, i can't take risks, i can't do what i love (hell i don't even want to do what i love when i get home after that), it makes it so fxcking hard to actualize myself. My goal isn't to "make millions of dollars", what i truly want is to be Free to do that wich Fulfills me and actualize myself. My Perspective : I don't need to "retire at the age of 20", i just need 5 to 10 years of financial freedom so i can focus 100% on what truly matter and make it a business. No way you wouldn't be successful if you were free to go literally all-in on your Life Purpose (mastering it, and finding a way to make it your stream of income), you can do big things in 5 years, and don't even get me started on 10 years of Time ! There's no way it wouldn't be worth it (compared to keeping the basic lifestyle of chasing money and staying normal/safe). I'm seriously considering to put 90% of my "savings" into covering all the costs of life (around 40k to 80k, and living in a van as it is way cheaper and a great minimalist lifestyle). What's your view on it ? I could use some different and wise perspectives. Thanks for reading, i hope it sparks some ideas for someone in a similar place.

I'm reviving this tread as it could be extremely powerful.

I'm aware i have some fears of chosing this way while not knowing my LP yet. But how i'm really not sure i can find it while being surrounded by all this "noise" and obligations.
-
@universe Yeah man, exactly. Investing my 20's in Personnal Development & LP, rather than staying normal/safe, is the right way for me. Gotta make use of Neuroplasticity while its still fresh, shaping your subconscious so that it uplifts you.
-
@Zeitgeist I haven't found my LP yet. Thats the thing. (But i think it has something to do with Designing and Improving things) Thats why i'm planning to go all-in in discovering my LP in the 1rst year of F.Freedom. (removing all the "noise" & non-necessary dopamine triggers in my life) Then as i see it, i'll be Really building and mastering the skills in the 2nd, 3rd and 4rth year. And making it my source of income in the last year or two (just need a few hundred bucks a month and i'm ok). The main challenge will be to stay hungry, strategic & out of the confort zone. Not easy. Risky. Lot of work. But definitely better than staying mediocre in a boring 9-5.
